The Red Coach Inn
I have mobility issues, so I asked for a table close to the entrance. We were taken to the very back. I had to stop half way to the table to regain myself, and no one didn’t seem to care that I was having a problem. I wonder what they would have done if I had a heart attack in the middle of their restaurant?
The food and service was very good.
Beautiful Patio with view of the Niagara Rapids. Great ambiance to sit out doors. Dishes are large portions perfect for sharing and great taste. Bruschetta Pasta is memorable. Service was great as well.
Cool restaurant, great server, great food.
Great service and great food The atmosphere was excellent
Great atmosphere. Fresh food and delicious. Overall great experience.
When you arrive for lunch at 1:00 and the restaurant open at 11 it is unacceptable to not have items ready. No meatloaf or Shepherds pie because no one made mashed potatoes. The waitress was very nice but should have been aware of menu items unavailable prior to taking our order. Food fair, prices high and parking 25.00 recommended going a couple blocks of the main strip food was much better and priced appropriate.
We ate outside. It was a beautiful day but I do think the outside could have been a little cleaner. The floors under the tables were very dirty and maybe they could have been swept up a bit to make for a better appearance. Food was ok and our server was very nice.
Wonderful dinner with amazing service in a quaint and historic ambiance.
Servers need training. There is more to waiting tables than sparkling (forced) personalities. General welcoming by host, seating and initial contact with waiter was abysmal. After that, it got better.
We were staying at the Red Coach Inn and the food was wonderful. The service was great and had a nice atmosphere in the porch area.
Beautiful establishment. Great service. Delicious food, perfectly prepared! Will definitely be back!
Service was slow overall. Quality of food was lacking and served cold. Quality not even close to being commensurate with description in menu and price. Extremely disappointed.
We all had something different for lunch. Everyone’s was delicious. Two of our lunches came with pasta salad-very tasted!
Seating was quick with a reservation. Wait to be served was long. Food was delicious, and portion sizes were smaller than many restaurants. Playing was nicely done. Service was friendly. June time frame.
Getaway trip with husband.
They have about three sandwiches they use a Roasted Garlic Aioli on. I think it’s there go-to sauce and it is very overpowering. Be warned. Turkey melt, Cordon Bleu and another sandwich will just taste like garlic
Female bartender was amazing. We sat outside under the covered patio. We ordered, shrimp cocktail, portobello mushrooms and the catfish. Amazing staff and great food, at a great price!
Cozy restaurant serving large portions. Service could have been more attentive, but the food was well prepared. Be advised there is parking in back for both restaurant and hotel customers. The sign referenced hotel guests, so we paid to park on the street. Unfortunately no refund was available.
Wonderful food, served by very by very friend staff. Eating on the patio was are favorite place.
Good food and excellent service. Had to wait a long time for entrees. You could slightly see the rapids of the river.
Horrible. Sat down and waited half an hour and not one server was in the restaurant
We left and no one even noticed we were gone
Never go there.
Complex flavors, however the risotto rice was a bit crunchy. The Avocado Appetizer was a rare find!
Our servers were top notch, you made our dinner amazing!
Exceptional Food, Service and Ambiance!!! We highly recommend everything!
What a wonderful find in Niagara Falls. Classic, old school charm restaurant with a good menu selection. Food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Encourage anyone thinking about this place to give it a try. I’ll definitely be back.
I brought friends from out-of-town and we all had an exceptional dinner. We waited in the bar area out of the rain for a bit until our entire party of six arrived. Chatting about old Red Coach memories, we each enjoyed a specialty drink prepared by your experienced bartender. We were seated at my own personal favorite table near the window where we could hear the rain and the rapids. We felt cozy, comfortable and at home in that perfect evening glow from your ambient lighting. The server was attentive and helpful in every way and the dinner arrived at a pleasant speed with just enough time for conversation between courses. A few of us shared desserts and our chocolate crème brule was perfect for two. This was a perfect evening with friends in a friendly and sophisticated environment. Thanks to all your staff!
Very much an old style steak house and a little run down.
The service was good, very attentive, however our server seemed to have someone else's shirt on because it was clearly huge on her. It seemed weird, like she doesn't have a proper uniform. But I didn't take service points off for that, she did a good job.
The food was good and extremely large servings. It wasn't outstanding but it was reasonably priced.
Dessert was good.
Nice restaurant, my wife and I had a wonderful dinner , the food was great as was the service, the atmosphere was pleasant , we never felt rushed unfortunately we ate so much at dinner we had no room for dessert.
Excellent service by Joe Travis, very kind, and very accommodating. The food was very good and an excellent value. Will be visiting The Red Coach again very soon!
Waitress was very nice and neat. She was friendly although unable to give much feedback as to recommendations or favorites since she was new employee. Her honesty was valued although did not help with decision making. We went during lunch and had a time table to stick with to get back to conference. Unable to enjoy the view as much as it should have been enjoyed. My food choice and my fellow lunch mates were very satisfied no complaints. Price was reasonable and menu had variety so you could find healthy fresh choices and some more filling and indulgent choices. I would visit again if I return to the Falls.
My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary. Never been here before, or Niagara Falls for that matter but based on the reviews we gave it a shot. The Red Coach Inn was absolutely gorgeous. From the drinks (BlackBerry Mojito) and the appetizers (crab cakes) to our main courses and dessert, we were blown away. The service was great and sitting outside we had an amazing view of the Falls. We’ll definitely be back!
Quaint atmosphere but salad greens were old and wilty and very over-priced. Our server was sweet but she had a very dirty bandaid on her finger as well as an open sore on her arm. Her apron was filthy. It was a very unappetizing. The view of the water was nice.
The food was great and the service was very good. I will definitely go back again.
Big portion food
Although service was really good with two waitstaff serving us, The entire restaurant needs a serious facelift, and the food was mediocre at best. My mahi-mahi was over cooked and did not taste that fresh. My boyfriends steak was just OK. Their wine list needs help as well.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner!!! The food was excellent. Phil our waiter was very helpful and kind. We sat at the window and had a lovely view of the river. Dessert was delicious. We would definitely eat here again!!!
Recommended by staff at a local hotel. Best choice we could have made. Friendly staff, great food, perfect dinner experience.
Great meal. Great restaurant
Our waitress was Nicole and she was wonderful very attentive always filling our water got us anything we needed when she found out it was my birthday she brought over the dessert tray
We have dined at the Red Coach many times however this particular experience left a lasting impression. The service was in a word, terrible. The waiter could best be described as crude and dismissive in the true sense of these words. We've never had such an unlikable person who mostly ignored us in favor of shooting the breeze with another couple at the other end of the dining room. The food was good as it usually is and the atmosphere the same. However, it will be some time before we go again.
Great downtown spot near the American falls. In summer you can dine on the porch, which is sweet. The building is old and historic, a sweet venue. Food was very good; the wait staff always seems friendly, and it's moderately priced.
