We did lunch here. Everything was excellent.
This restaurant was recommended to us by friends. We found the menu limiting, service sub-par and just were not thrilled with the meal we received. Steak wasn't that great, It was just ok- could have cooked it better at home myself. Wasn't impressed with the wine either.
Excellent and friendly service, great food, and especially good value on friends and neighbours night! We'll be back for sure!
Limited lunch menu, but great opinions. Lovely atmosphere
Friends and neighbors night (Tues & Thurs) was great! Good food and wine.
Absolutely fabulous lunch! Food was excellent....service exceptional
My spouse and I eat at a lot of wineries and “expensive” restaurants in the area. This is the third or fourth time I have personally eaten at this restaurant, but the first time I’ve been a guest for dinner.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the food was good, but the service was poor - especially for the price point ($200 for two adults). Here are a few examples of the poor service: we received bread and had to ask for plates, drink glasses were left empty for long periods of time without refill offers, there was an unusually long gap between our appetizers and entrees, our plates were being cleared away when food was still on the plate (without even asking if we were done with our food), & our waitress didn’t seem to be knowledgeable about food & wine pairings.
I love the aesthetic & relaxed atmosphere of this restaurant, but overall, we were all disappointed with our dining experience. The level of service does not even come close to other restaurants in this price range.
The dinner menu reads somewhat exotic. Trying to obviously impress. The portion was somewhat skimpy based on the price.
Sevice was good.
I was disappointed they had no non alcoholic beer.
We won’t be hurrying back for dinner.
Great food & atmosphere. We enjoyed delicious pizza for lunch along with some wonderful wine. Would highly recommend!
Despite being rained out on the patio we were pleasantly surprised with the interior look and the food was outstanding.
We sat outside, it was beautiful and we loved the experience !
The peach salad was overpriced at 19$ considering what was in the plate (4 arugula leaves, 2 pieces of brie, 1 small peach, a few blueberries). Also, when we asked for bread we were told we don’t have serve bread at lunch.
My salmon was uncooked in the center and has to go back
Went in on thursday for our anniversary. Menu is specially priced on tuesdays and thursdays which was great with $6 glasses of wine. Server was extremely attentive and the food was amazing. The pork was one of the best ive had and the stone fire pizzas are excellent. Ambiance and setting outside and in are cozy. Wines we tried were great. Would not change a thing.
This is my second visit to Redstone. The first time we saw Terra Lightfoot in concert...amazing night of great food and entertainment. This time we dropped in for some “za” and wine on the patio. Perfect weather, perfect venue, perfect pizza!
Great spot to stop on the way back from the Shaw Festival. Love the Tuesday/Thursday friends evening meals. Felt the regular menu is a bit overpriced but the uniqueness and deliciousness made up for it.
We have gone to friends and family night many times. This visit was disappointing. The margarita pizza was absolutely drenched in red sauce and not much else. We ordered the creme brulee for dessert - it was missing the fruit chutney that was supposed to accompany it and the top was over- bruleed to the point of being burnt. The waitress never returned to ask how dessert was, just brought the bill as it was the end of the evening. The band was great and the patio is gorgeous.
It was a perfect evening sitting on the patio and listening to the entertainment. It was Friends and Neighbours night so pizzas and drinks were specially priced. The server was attentive and made for a very pleasant experience.
We live near Redstone and have wanted to try out their friends and neighbours special for a while. We were not disappointed. The back patio is ovely looking out onto the vineyard with lots of seating, umbrellas, and planters. The pizza we had was excellent as was the wine. Service was very good, our server was very friendly and explained the special to us. We will definately go again.
It was our first time at Redstone. We were thrilled with the service, ambiance of the outdoor terrace, and quality of food and drink. We are definitely going to return in the near future!!
The lunch menu was very limited, and although the food provided was good, it wasn't quite what was expected for the prices compared to the area. I can appreciated its a new building and they are trying to elevate their offerings. I'll likely do a second pass to see if my visit was just an off day.
Emily was an incredible server. She made us comfortable and introduced us to new Redstone wine that was amazing! Can't wait to come back!
Always great. Superb staff. Great kitchen.
Always love lunch here!
There were seven of us in our party. Overall we’re all very pleased with everything especially the service that we received from Bailey. I was very pleased with my scallops and chicken dinner. The other ladies were very happy with their choices as well.
Visited Redstone for our anniversary. We had a reservation but the service was very slow. They recognized this and more than made up for it! Great experience overall!
Had a fantastic lunch on the patio at Redstone. Our server Courtney was outstanding and took care of every little detail. The food was delicious and the view is wonderful. We will definitely be back
Made a reservation to celebrate my wife’s birthday with two of my elementary school aged kids. They made us feel welcomed and special, with a glass of sparkling wine for us both and a raspberry soufflé for dessert on the house. We dined al fresco in the last days of summer with the sunset. The children felt free to roam around the garden while the food was being prepared. Their children’s menu items were very reasonable ($10 per plate), which let us enjoy the shared dishes, apps and a main dish. Their salads and soup truly tasted like they were “field-to-table.” They served up the most impressively huge and tasty bone marrow. My wife had salmon, which was very nice. Will definitely be returning here again.
We found the service a little rushed. We had a reservation for 7:45 and were finished dinner and paid our bill by 8:30.
The ambience outdoors is breathtaking, overlooking vineyards with lovely different seating areas. We enjoyed our meals however I was a bit disappointed in my meal (turbot) as it was not up to the standards of the other two meals. I have been here for lunch and do prefer the lunch menu to the dinner. It is quite pricey for what you get, but did love the restaurant, overall.
Excellent as always!!!
We though we’d might try another winery restaurant in Niagara. Redstone was close by the Bench so we made reservations for 8pm. It was fantastic. The server, James, was downright happy to be there, and excited to tell us about the menu, drinks, the Niagara Region. The food was excellent, as was the ‘Last Call’ martini. The sunset view was spectacular. We will definitely return!
Location is amazing and has so much potential but their execution falls way short. The food needs seasoning. It was bland. We were very disappointed and won't be back any time soon.
Lovely setting for a relaxing lunch with a friend in the vineyard. Food was tasty and the wine was delicious and never disappoints!
The food was absolutely delicious I had the ceaser salad and margarita pizza was absolutely delicious, my partner had fish tacos that he thoroughly enjoyed. The live music 🎼 was very enjoyable and added the the fantastic views and ambience of the evening. To top it off the service was top notch, always a thrill to be served by Emily and the rest of the Redstone Team!!!
Thank you for another enjoyable evening😊
Awesome once again!! Thank you!!
I would recommend but let people know it's pricing and portion sizes are small
Great patio and surroundings.
It was a wonderful birthday lunch for my husband and I. The fried chicken skins were interesting, very hot (temperature) and loved it with the aioli sauce. Loved the muscles (wonderful sauce but wish we had had bread to soak it all up) and the French fries which were nice and crispy and plentiful. The grilled peach salad with Brie and blueberry vinaigrette was absolutely delicious. We finished with creme brûlée which was divine and cappuccino which was kept hot from beginning to end (special cup). Just a wonderful lunch...a bit disappointed they did not acknowledge our birthdays—had mentioned our birthdays 70 for me and 71 for my husband right on the day we were there. Did not discourage us from buying 6 of our favourite Reisling.
Excellent food and drinks with an incredible backdrop.
