    I brought my friend to the restaurant for her birthday. She loved the duck. I had the Cornish hen, which I liked except the honey au jus. The ambiance was good but would suggest having groups in a separate room especially if they have small children.

    We walked in to the wine tasting room and there was nobody to greet or direct us except two employees in a corner having a post shift meeting. We were eventually directed to the restaurant check in desk. We were then led to our table in a very dark corner of the restaurant. Dark because a number of their overhead lights were not working. This was odd but did not impact the experience too harshly. When it came to the food, it looked beautiful on the plate but our proteins (meat and fish) were bland and underseasoned. My friends side of parsnips were still crunchy. We had to ask for salt and pepper and did not receive them until halfway through our meal. For a restaurant charging $50 per entree I would expect staff to express concern when patrons are requesting seasoning. The server was nice but didn’t check in as often as we would have expected. Sadly we will not be returning here to dine.

    Food was excellent. We did a wine tasting first, which was wonderful. Laura did an amazing job! Service was amazing at dinner. The restaurant is beautiful with a wonderful view. Highly recommend!

    It would be helpful if the serving staff have tried most of the dishes on the menu in order to answer questions customers may have. Our server knew very little about both of the main meals we ordered.

    We had a delightful lunch at Redstone. The corn soup was absolutely delicious, the fish fry was perfect…lightly battered and crispy. The fries are always excellent here. We tried the Redstone cider for a change, and found it refreshing and lovely. The service was prompt, and the servers, professional and pleasant. All in all it was a great experience.

    I ordered Sable fish. It was overcooked . The mushroom and artichokes blend with sauce slopped was too salty Oysters overly priced for small size oysters. Some chucks did not look fresh

    Wonderful service! Our waitress Sarah did an outstanding job: she was very professional, attentive, observant, but also courteous enough to give us time and privacy. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor, too, and able to engage in friendly yet professional conversation. All other staff (the hostess, other waiters) were extremely professional, greeted us and thanked us for coming when we were leaving, too. The facility is wonderful, the patio very welcoming, the staff made us feel special by asking, for example if we need more or less shade, and offering to take a photo of us. The food was delicious (the only reason I gave it 4 not full 5 stars because there was a bit too much butter melted around my fish and something was tiny bit too salty - might have been one of the wild mushrooms; however, itd definitely eat there again and I will return in the near future!) This indeed is a great place, I highly recommend.

    There are very few options for vegetarians and as everything is cooked in butter lactose intolerant diners have almost no options. The table looked very nice. Comfortable chairs. Nice silverware and glassware. The restaurant looks beautiful with wide open views over the surrounding countryside. Our server was a bit over friendly TMI.

    We had a small family gathering, 5 guests from Calgary and Welland/Grimsby. The terrace outside, the view was beautiful and the weather perfect. Food was delicious and presentation was excellent. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. It was quiet, great for conversation. Loved their spicy margarita .

    We had a great evening once again at Redstone. The patio is beautiful. Service always 5 Star. We like going Wednesday evenings as there are some specials that appeal to us. $6 wine cannot be ignored. Margherita pizzas of the highest quality and taste are $15. Don't forget a side of fries with aioli sauces. Superb !!!

    Wine was good but too expensive for the size of pour . If your going to have people enjoy your patio / terrace you need to make a better effort to control the yellow jackets / wasps . A lady got stung at a table beside us and we had a wasp take a swim in a glass of rose . Takes away from the ambiance when your worried about getting stung the whole time your there .

    We had guests with us from out of the country so it was their first time in a Niagara vineyard. We were referred to you by a close friend of mine Ed Hughes. From start to finish it was a fabulous experience. the location and building are beautiful. The service was prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. The food was delicious with a lovely presentation and excellently prepared. We drank your Limestone Chardonnay with our meal which was exquisite. Our only regret was we forgot to purchase some of your Chardonnay before we left. Next time!

    Brought my wife here for a birthday celebration with family. Food was very good, everyone enjoyed their dinner. I felt the steak frites could have been better, thought it was more on the rare side vs. medium rare, and the flavour was good but not oh-lala. The service was quite excellent and our server was wonderful. It was a Sunday evening and incredibly quiet ( only 2 other tables ) and thought the person who was moving all the stacks of glasses/dishes around at the bar probably should have waited until their were no guests to improve the ambience. Overall I would highly recommend this place, I do enjoy it.

    A very average experience for an overpriced restaurant. No personal attention to customers. We mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and still received any special consideration or anything. While paying for a good experience a much higher level of service is expected . Highly do not recommend if you are celebrating something special and looking for special service.
