The Roycroft has evolved into one of our favorite restaurants. Great environment, great food, thirst quenching beverages, and a wonderful staff
Ordered surf and turf but waitress failed to order the surf. Very disappointed. Also I asked for salt and pepper. I had to get up and take it off another table myself.
I took my parents to the famous Roycroft for dinner. I really talk it up as I;'ve had wonderful meals there. However, the menu is very limited now. The duck was not on the menu, but it was on the online menu. Inquiries revealed that the supplier did not send enough duck nor could they get any mote. So my parents split the rack of lamb. It was undercooked but no one checked on us after the meal was served. They might have sent it back to be cooked a little more. The waiter was obviously overworked. Unfortunately, we will not be returning any time soon.
Wonderful experience, as always. It was quite busy for a Sunday night, and our server seemed to have a lot of tables, but she was very attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious…filet perfectly cooked, scallops tender and tasty. So glad to live 3 miles from the Roycroft!
For me, Roycroft's brunch leaves nothing to be desired. Staff is friendly and attentive at all levels. The food is delicious and has so many options.
They should seat families with young / loud children is a separate area. The ambience for the first 10 minutes was excellent. We were seated in front of the fireplace and could hear the musician playing an acoustic guitar. Once a large extended family with numerous young children entered the space, the vibe /ambience turned very poor.
The grounds and the restaurant are beautiful. The wait staff and all bussers were friendly and competent. Food was ok, brunch buffets aren’t my thing, but the omelette was delicious.
Enjoyed our experience.
Wonderful atmosphere, the food was fantastic. There was a live band that was extremely loud and we weren't even seated in the same room. When booking a reservation I would recommend to ask for seating away from the band.
Food was excellent however waited 40 mins for our check!!! It was a Thursday so not really busy. Very disappointing after a nice dinner. It soured the experience.
Delicious food, wonderful service, beautiful atmosphere! Love this place!
One of the finest meals I’ve ever eaten. A great value Especially for the incredible service I got from me mate Sam. Dined alone and it was 2 of the best hours of my dining experiences in my 69 years.
Outstanding brunch, historic facility, great service. String duet playing while you make your food selections. Highly recommended.
The ambiance, as always, was nothing short of sublime, and the food was good, but the server disregarded almost every fundamental rule of good service, and so I had to give a lower rating, this time
The service was excellent. Missed the little muffins!
Outstanding meal and great server.
The choices were diverse: beef, chicken, duck, scallops, pork, salmon and vegan. We had braised pork and sea scallops -- delish. The place is beautiful. We ate in the library near a huge fireplace that was real wood burning. The bar area is like a salon. The no corking fee on Wednesday meant that we brought a wine bottle that was special. And, they have sliver size dessert in case you just want a taste.
The ladies really enjoyed dinner together. They felt safe outside and a no rush night. It was what we needed at this time! Thank you!!
Historic setting ... quality food... beautiful ambiance
Horrible service and even worse food. I had heard so many good things, but it was awful. I certainly won’t go back. Very unfortunate since the venue is beautiful.
Firer awesome lobster was ok mushy and a bit small but everything else was excellent.
Fantastic meal and experience in every way. Highly recommend!
As always GREAT food, prices and atmosphere!
Two anniversaries and a birthday
Our food was excellent. Alicia, our waitress, was cheerful and helpful as was the young guy that helped her. Will definitely fine here again.
Also, our hostess was very friendly and accommodating.
It was a beautiful night to be outside on the porch in such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere! Dinner was delicious, as usual!
We attended the Sunday brunch, very good menu selection. All of the food was very well prepared and fresh. Atmosphere was a little loud but tolerable. The place was very busy but the staff handled everything very well.
Great service great food. Very consistent
Super service and great food!
Excellent night to eat on the veranda! Only bothered by a yellow jacket that my husband killed with his fork! Food was outstanding! Would go again!
Picturesque setting on a patio with excellent food and service! I will be back!!
We loved everything! Max our waiter was especially charming. Food was terrific. Loved the sliver dessert combo!
The menu is very limited. Dinners were very bland, needed to be seasoned. Service was slow, seemed they were short staffed. Don't waste your time and money. Definitely not worth it.
As soon as the food arrived, so did the flies and bees!
Excellent selection of food. Everything was delicious
The Roycroft is good anytime, but even more so during COVID upsurge. We were having a small Family Reunion and needed a safe, outdoor setting for us to gather.
I knew the peristyle would be a good option regardless of the weather. We couldn't have been more satisfied. We were a good distance from other diners and even had some space between ourselves. Our server, Emily was delightful in spite of it being an extremely humid day, she was witty, watchful, and prompt. Our food was delicious!
Wonderful dining on porch! Special place the Roycroft!
We ate out on the beautiful patio on a warm summer night listening to the band inside. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we didn't feel rushed at all. Love that you can order a "sliver" of dessert.
The Roycroft is like stepping back in time. Excellent servers, bus boys very professional. Eat there quite often, always enjoyable.
Love it. I drive in from Rochester. Different and quaint… Great day trip area has cute shops and restaurants. I love staying overnight at the inn.
