    We did not realize the restaurant was in the Westin Hotel, and I immediately thought, “oh, no, not hotel food!” However, much to my surprise, the restaurant was beautiful, the service was top notch, and our beverages and meals were fantastic. We came away thinking that perhaps the restaurant was not connected with the hotel and merely rented the space in the hotel. I would recommend this restaurant and would definitely return.

    This is our one of the go to place for cocktails. The food is equally good we tried yesterday crispy shrimps, Tomato toast, sauteed mushrooms, asparagus, onion rings, rainbow trout and mushroom rivoli. We liked all . In desert we tried truffle and coconut cake. We really like coconut cake and must have.

    Superb evening at the shore club! We celebrated our Moms milestone birthday, and to our delight we not only had a VIP table, but also a bouquet of flowers waiting for her upon arrival!!! Needless to say, Allison our server, went above and beyond to ensure we had a magical night at the shore club. From mouthwatering appetizers, to Chicago style steaks, every morsel hit the mark. The recommended crème brûlée and coconut cream pie and those dipped strawberries?!! Absolutely outstanding. Shoreclub demonstrates high quality, visually appealing, dance on your palate cuisine.     I have used the Shore Club in Ottawa for numerous business lunches. The location is great, and the food has been very good. Unfortunately, my visit last week was very disappointing. There was some construction going on that was very loud, it was next to impossible to find someone to serve us and our meals were very disappointing. My salmon was so over cooked that I could not eat it. I wanted to send it back but there was no server to be found who could help. Time to move on to another location.

    Just remember that most of the vegetables are all à la carte (extra charge), so ordering the steak, for example, gets you just tge steak, and you have to pay extra for veggies and/or potatoes. A few exceptions

    A quiet early business dinner for two after a long day of conferencing. Very warm welcome and a nice quiet spot away from the drinking crowd. Impeccable service as always, and most importantly, delicious food cooked to perfection. If you are in downtown Ottawa, The Shore Club is a must!

    I gave an overall very good due to our company. We've been to the Shore Club several times over the last year. This was a disappointing visit. The lounge where we were seated was uncomfortable - the table was so tiny we could not get our food plates on the table. The food was overcooked - the calamari was rubbery, the greens overcooked, and the steak marginally better. The server repeatedly forgot drinks and generally was not attentive - though they were having to cover many tables.

    We usually always order the seafood tower and this time was no exception however when the tower for 4 arrived the amount of lobster and crab was not nearly enough this time. One lobster tail sliced in half to share with 4 people is inadequate. There were only 4 pieces of crab one for each person. There was an abundance of oysters and enough prawns and tuna. I would like to see fewer oysters and more lobster and crab...which we added to the dish.
