    Carpaccio was great as usual. Halibut was dry and hard ( probably from frozen) Beet salad always a hit and miss. Yesterday was just ok. Very little goat cheese, vinaigry. Never know what you are going to get with this one. I even once returned it. Will no longer get this. Tired of inconsistent dish. Menu keeps changing. Great spot for hotel guests when cold outside.

    Love to see more vegetarian options added! I know it's a high-end Steakhouse, but in today's world, there are more vegetarians part of the group and gathering, so they don't feel left out.

    I know this is a very nice, well reviewed restaurant but it wasn’t my favourite. The server seemed very distracted and slow all night, little things like keeping the sparkling water off the table, presumably so she could cater to us and fill our glasses but then they would sit empty forever. We grabbed and brought it to the table to fill ourselves and then she took it back again and was again slow to fill our glasses. I wanted a refill in my bar drink, finally just drank my husbands (he didn’t really want it) because she was so slow to come back and offer. Food was good, the halibut was great.

    Truffle ravioli is my fav dish here and it was outstanding...caesar salad was just ok...kind of wet still with water and lettuce was very white and needs more bacon and croutons...make it a real caesar and not a cafeteria version...maybe buy better croutons or make your own...and source better romaine. Fried chicken was very good and so was the farro/brussel sprout side...need some better red wines by the glass...always have the Grayson Cab which is decent but need a bit more better reds to choose from by the glass. Chocolate dessert was decent. Service by our waiter was outstanding! Thank you

    Everything was most satisfactory. The attention to detail such as table clearance was spot on! The waiter was attentive and friendly without being obtrusive. It would be hard to imagine how things could have been better.

    Service was pretty good , steaks cook well , asked for bake potato ( I do better at home ) very plain nothing special about, Lobster brisket soup very cold , tasty but cold . Not sure if I would go back or if I would recommend the place

    This my first time at The Shore Club. The food was amazing. Brussels Bowl was my favourite side. Steak was melt in your mouth. Our server was excellent. Will definitely go back.

    Our waiter was excellent, we were celebrating our daughter’s birthday as she was out of the country on the 23rd. She was very satisfied and plans to take her husband to taste your steak soon!

    Everything about our dining experience, from the quality of the food to the attentiveness of the service, was perfect… Until the nasty surprise at the end of the night. We did not order bread, but it was brought to us, and we were charged for it. When we ordered steaks, the waiter said “I will bring you a peppercorn sauce that will be great with that.” Neither of us asked for it, but both of us were charged for it.  I accept that some restaurants can be quite expensive. What I can’t accept is a bait and switch upsell.

    We made reservations based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. We ordered and shared several items on the menu including steak, scallops, baked potatoes, vegetables and the most amazingly delicious mushrooms. The food was prepared to perfection and the service was excellent, friendly and efficient. We topped the meal off with a slice of the most delicious key lime pie. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and will be returning again soon.

    The food was nice. The potions were large. The service was mediocre. They got quite busy quickly and struggled to keep up. We waited quite a while for food and dessert. Not sure if this is normal but since it is a conference hotel and there were conferences seemed bad they were not more prepared

    Everytime I come to the shoreclub the experience is no less than exceptional. the food is always good, portions are quite generous for the kind of restaurant it is, and everything is always done well. I can't recommend this place enough for a great dinner.

    We have eaten here a few times before. We had the same amazing waiter as we did last year. He was amazing, knowledgeable and extremely friendly (his name has slipped my mind). The food was delicious and the wine was vey much enjoyed! Unfortunately, the ambiance wasn't the greatest, not to your fault, there was a very rude man beside us-he was rude to his own guest as well as the waiter. I enjoyed my meal so much better once he left. He made quit the disturbance in general and to our waiter. Our waiter handled the situation vey professionally. Highly recommend your restaurant and anyone would be lucky to have our waiter!!!!

    The service was great, our waiter was amazing. He took the time to make recommendations about portion sizes and wine. The food was delicious and we never felt rushed. This is such a great spot and worth every penny

    The service was quick and efficient. The food was hit and miss, the tuna stater was cooked perfectly as was the scallop main. The salmon tartare was greasy and could have done with a little lemon juice to offset this and the prawns with the main chewy and over cooked. The balance of flavours is a little off for a European palette with sweetness predominating in some dishes. The ice cold white wine had Brett (a fault I’ve rarely come across and didn’t spot at once) which was disappointing as I’d asked for advice on it and had it recommended by a member of staff who had bought it but didn’t check this bottle himself. I’ve had better meals for far less $250 for about an hour and two courses with a bottle of wine seems poor value.

    Menu reflects varieties found on many traditional steak and seafood restaurants. Food and service were excellent. Had the beef carpacio which was super as were the sautéed shrimps and scallops. My partner had the salmon tartare and the stuffed trout; both were excellent. The wine list is extensive but overall I found it rather pricey. Ambience and decor reminded me of fine dining from years gone by; quiet and subdued with a lot of wood. All in all a positive experience and would recommend it for special occasions.
