   The jumbo shrimp cocktail is so delicious. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the accompanying peppercorn sauce was so tasty. I also highly recommend the sharing plates of salt and vinegar fries, sautéed asparagus and mushrooms. And the real reason I keep going back to The Shore Club is the impeccable service which is the best in Ottawa. Thank you to all the staff at The Shore Club!

   I’m a foodie.. I’ve been to many fine dining restaurants in the US, Europe, Mexico, and Canada.. the food was great but our service was amazing! Our waiter was the best we ever had.

   Beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection and the made in house Key Lime pie was delicious! Thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner.

   Our evening was delightful and the food was amazing. We had the beef tartare and crispy bistro shrimp as appetizers; both were a hit that we would definitely order again. In retrospect I should have asked for extra crostini with the tartare since we were sharing it among our table. We had short rib and bone-in rib steak as mains with sides to share including vinegar fries, wild mushrooms and also the grilled beefsteak tomatoes at the recommendation of one of our servers. We loved everything and were very pleased that the steaks were cooked as desired. The short rib was to die for, perfect seasoning, perfect tenderness, just so succulent. I’m already craving another one. The ambience was warm and trendy, our courses were served promptly, and every member of the staff was kind, helpful and welcoming. We left feeling extremely satisfied with our food and experience.

   It's pricey, but we knew that going in, and if you want to treat yourself to a really nice night out in Ottawa, this is the place! The atmosphere is elegant but also cozy and warm. Music and other patrons not too loud. Staff absolutely lovely! Friendly without being obtrusive, attentive and helpful, and made great suggestions. Drinks were excellent, and nibbles too.
