    We have eaten here a few times before. We had the same amazing waiter as we did last year. He was amazing, knowledgeable and extremely friendly (his name has slipped my mind). The food was delicious and the wine was vey much enjoyed! Unfortunately, the ambiance wasn't the greatest, not to your fault, there was a very rude man beside us-he was rude to his own guest as well as the waiter. I enjoyed my meal so much better once he left. He made quit the disturbance in general and to our waiter. Our waiter handled the situation vey professionally. Highly recommend your restaurant and anyone would be lucky to have our waiter!!!!

    The service was great, our waiter was amazing. He took the time to make recommendations about portion sizes and wine. The food was delicious and we never felt rushed. This is such a great spot and worth every penny

    The service was quick and efficient. The food was hit and miss, the tuna stater was cooked perfectly as was the scallop main. The salmon tartare was greasy and could have done with a little lemon juice to offset this and the prawns with the main chewy and over cooked. The balance of flavours is a little off for a European palette with sweetness predominating in some dishes. The ice cold white wine had Brett (a fault I’ve rarely come across and didn’t spot at once) which was disappointing as I’d asked for advice on it and had it recommended by a member of staff who had bought it but didn’t check this bottle himself. I’ve had better meals for far less $250 for about an hour and two courses with a bottle of wine seems poor value.

    Menu reflects varieties found on many traditional steak and seafood restaurants. Food and service were excellent. Had the beef carpacio which was super as were the sautéed shrimps and scallops. My partner had the salmon tartare and the stuffed trout; both were excellent. The wine list is extensive but overall I found it rather pricey. Ambience and decor reminded me of fine dining from years gone by; quiet and subdued with a lot of wood. All in all a positive experience and would recommend it for special occasions.

    Another wonderful evening - the food is consistently great and the service is outstanding. Jesse was amazing, his wine recommendation was spot on and the offer the change the bourbon in the old fashion was a nice touch. Kudos all round!

    Food quality was generally good. For the price I would have expected the lobster roll to be presented on a higher quality bun than what appeared to be a Costco hot doc bun. Wine is significantly overpriced

    The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the short rib, it is a perfect portion and the taste was on point - accompanied with the salt and vinegar fries, perfect combo. The service was also incredible, Birjan went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect and he exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be going back!

    Party of 4- from Toronto. Great meal of delicious seafood tower, salmon and steak, a couple bottles of wine and whiskey and recommend the cocktails!. Friendly and attentive service from Bergeon (?), sorry don’t know spelling. We had nice chats and said he is originally from with roots from Turquie. Would have also had dessert (wanted the cheesecake!) but we were provided each in house make truffles which were divine, and sufficiently capped the dinner off. It was a Friday night at 6pm, on Aug long weekend. 9pm whole place was packed. Nicely appointed, upscale vibe. Highly recommend.

    Top steak and seafood spot in Ottawa. FOR SURE! I normally avoid hotel restaurants. Don't be fooled by the fact that Shore Club is housed within the downtown Westin Hotel. It is absolutely outstanding. Highly skilled kitchen - flexible with special requests. Sophisticated service with attention to detail. Add a remarkable wine list and you'll find all the ingredients are in place. Beginning with the beef carpaccio and a simple wedge salad, the skills became obvious. The crispy capers on the beef were the all-stars. Even the wedge was special with its modest size and perfectly limited dressing. The lobster/king crab combination was cooked perfectly and well presented. The trio of lamp chops carried a defined roasted flavor and yet were cooked to medium rare. The seared tuna was simple but hearty. And again, beautifully executed. Finally, our waiter Sorrell was completely over the top! His enthusiasm, his knowledge, and his fierce commitment to top service was beyond compare. Not to mention his human, friendly, open character. Please remember to request this professional - he'll give you the best version of an excellent restaurant. There simply cannot be a better place in all of Ottawa!

    We went for appetizers and drinks. Drinks were delicious. Apps were great. Ordered the calamari, didn't like it and they took it back with no problem and we had battered shrimp instead. Service was great. On the expensive side but we were celebrating so it was expected.

    I loved how attentive you were about every detail during our dinner. Ottawa lacks this level of service in most places, but you definitely have mastered it. We felt welcomed, our anniversary felt celebrated by all of you. The food was delicious! I definitely recommend the seafood platter or tower.

    We enjoy it here because the staff are so professional and well dressed, the atmosphere is good, it’s always clean and pretty, and the food delicious. We enjoyed the beef carpaccio, thé brussel lentil bowl, the ricotta cherry tomato on baguette and finished with the lime custard pie. All very good.

    Took my grandfather for a birthday dinner and was promptly taken care of by the hostess’s. We sat in the lounge area where we were well taken care of by our waitress. She made my grandfather laugh and treated him like a king. We then had dinner whom our Birjan took care of beyond our means. My grandfather was so pleased about the service, the food, ambiance, his surprise dessert. He smoke with manager whom he also adored. He couldn’t believe the service and had been a long time to have such an amazing culinary experience. He wishes to go once or twice a month now 💜 Thank you beautiful souls.
