   Lou was the best waiter we've had in Toronto. He knew the food backwards and forwards, helped us order well (in terms of portions and options.) He was funny, smart and gracious, especially when there was an argument over who was going to pay the bill. The restaurant ambiance was energetic, but also soothing, with the busy bar, muted lighting and music. Our booth was comfortable and private, although the table felt a bit high when we started eating. We enjoyed our three generation family meal as much as we enjoyed seeing "Hamilton" afterwards. It was a 10-out-of-10 experience for all four of us, and it all started with Lou! Thank you very much for the great memory.

    The service and attention to detail was excellent. Lou, our server, was very friendly and kind. We were there before the theatre for my daughter’s 18th birthday and Lou was wonderful in speaking with the girls as well. The food was very good too! This is our second time here and we will come again. What a wonderful experience.

    The restaurant could not find me a table at 4:40pm. It took them about 10 min to find somewhere to put us and put us in the bar area with no settings. Then we waited for many minutes before some came to serve us. They didn't even give us menus. Then they had 3 different servers asking us the same questions. They also forgot to give us our mashed potatoes until I asked them. They compted us for it. I told the manager that was in charge that we were disappointed. He didn't really care.

    Entering the restaurant there is a high feel of sophistication and elegance. The seating is pure comfort. The food was very well presented and tasted delicious. Though it would've been nice to have been served with a side sauce and lemon for the fish dishes. The halibut is outstanding! It fulfilled all the wonders of my pallett. Sarah was our server and she was just wonderful. We will definitely be back.

    The food and service was excellent. The filet mignon, calamari and lobster mac-and-cheese was delicious, the ambiance was perfect, and the staff were polite. Overall, it was a very good restaurant and I would definitely come again.

    The food presentation was basic, the waiter who attended to my girlfriend and I had a good vibe but the person who cleared our table didn't even smile at all and looked annoyed. The lady who welcomed us at the door also did not smile, the toilet looked unkempt (toilet paper on the floor, overfilled bins, it was gross and no lotion). However, the food did taste good. We ordered steak and mashed potatoes. We did not like our drinks though, mine was the spiced orange mule which seemed like a bit of ginger ale with A LOT of ice cubes. My girlfriend ordered the Cosnopolitan and it didn't taste great at all.

    I was very disappointed with the service of the waiter and I believe its the person in charge of staff that evening. I asked to order a serving of bread since all the other tables had bread and butter. My waiter replied "that it comes with the meal." Its nice to have to soak up the alcohol. We ordered entrees and when it was brought to over table by another employee. I asked "where is the bread." The employee must have told this young lady whom I assumed is in charge of staff. She came by and said " I heard that you're not happy. So I tried to explain what happened and before I can finish my sentence she said that you have to buy the bread. I replied that I did asked to order a serving of bread but the waiter said that it will come with the food which of course did not happen. I stayed calm ordered dessert for the table and to go. The waiter brought the bill and said "oh we did not charge you for the desserts, I said thank you." The tip I gave was the amount for the dessert. Its the worst that I have been treated at a restaurant. I go to restaurants all over the world.

    Unfortunately frustrating experience and ruined the evening for a group of friends. We waited with expectation for 3 months for our night to see Hamilton & enjoy happy hour & dinner at Shore Club first. So dissappointing. We waited over 10 minutes to get 2 cocktails which we finally had to go to the bar to order - we only got 1/2 the food we ordered and 2 guests were not served in time (1 hour before we had to go) to get appetizers before leaving to sit through a 3 hour show. we had to return 1 of the martinis twice??? 1 was just fine? worst part - we advised both managers on staff - they said - oh sorry. WOW is all I could say, must be nice not to have to worry about custo.er service or complaints. We will not be returning to this venue. ...and yes I"m I subscribet and avid theatre goer.

    I come here often, one my favourite spots downtown. There appy hour special is great, service is always friendly and the food is fantastic. I also have a severe gluten allergy, the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate my needs. My favourite dishes are the crab cakes, burrata salad and short ribs. My soon to be husband and I love it so much we planned our wedding dinner here.
