Family enjoyed the ambiance and the food! Our server Rhonda was amazing! Catered to all our needs!
Excellent food and service. Would definitely return.
We had a great lunch experience. We stayed at the Westin and wanted to enjoy the view. Lunch was a good time to see the city and dress code was very casual at that time. All of the staff were very polite and hospitable.
Waitress was very nice and added to atmosphere but she had too many tables to take care of us. Food was above average. I would highly recommend the pork belly. It was amazing!!! My beer wasn’t as cold at it should be but the view makes up for any negatives.
The waiter never introduced the menu to us but we heard him do it to every other table. He also was very sparsely seen during the meal and other servers would take our plates and refill our drinks.
If it's rotated, it's much better to see all the 360 view.
We were in town for the Las Vegas Aces game and we went there for my husband's birthday. It was great experience, never left the hotel and had fine dining. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great with a view of the sunset over Atlanta from the 74th floor.
I took my boyfriend for our anniversary so he could see Atlanta as he is from Chicago. Our waitress was so disrespectful. She made him show his ID to her three times. I left my wallet at our hotel because he was paying. She said she couldn't serve me because of that. I understood even though I look far from underage. Even though my boyfriend gave our waitress his ID so he could get a drink, she said she didn't want to serve him because I didn't have mine. She didn't want to give him his drink because of me. That makes complete sense. He got a vodka martini, which was $13. He asked for it dirty so they charged him $3 more. The Sundial is great for a view but I would never give them my money. Horrible experience and on top of that, the drink was disgusting.
Absolutely everything was spectacular except for our waiter who gave us “permission” to dine since we weren’t ordering entrees, just cocktails, apps, and dessert. Felt extremely uncomfortable and judged on my appearance and age to if I had money or not when there were other diners wearing T-shirt’s and flipflops.
Still left a 20%+ tip but I suggest the restaurant retrain their wait staff.
Food was spectacular and watching the sunset was beautiful. It was unfortunately ruined by a rude judgemental waiter.
EXCELLENT FOOD...EXCELLENT SERVICE...Best restaurant in Atlanta.
Horrible; Food was scraps from the buffet downstairs. Service couldn’t be bothered. Great view.. I was ashamed to put my family through that. Not many options in Atlanta. I would beg with the homeless before I went back there.
James was very professional will recommend family and friends any time
On the day that we were at the restaurant, it was having mechanical problems, and as a result, was not revolving. We went there specifically because we wanted to experience the restaurant revolving. Customers should have been alerted so that they could make an educated decision about whether to go there or not. However, the food was good.
Great for taking a friend from out of town. Awesome view of the city. Stopped by for a quick lunch before heading to the Aquarium, which is walking distance. Great location.
Ask for Anne as your server! She is such a gem. The whole staff is fun and helpful, but Anne has those good mama feels. Every time I have someone visit Atlanta I take them to the top of the Sundial to show them around the city with a near birdseye view. I hope the rotating motor will be up and running soon! It's cozy and beautiful up there, especially in the evening.
Unmatched setting and view with excellent service for our anniversary dinner.
I brought my friend for her 97th birthday, she was so impressed. Each staff member was pleasant and professional from the valet to the gift shop. In my haste getting her and her walker in my car, I forgot to tip the valet, he was so very nice and considerate, I regret that. I was too focused on traffic and getting her back home...
I am sure she will want to do this again and I will be happy to bring her
Beautiful view, nice & peaceful. Great ending to our anniversary.
I love The Sundail. Perfect scenery for a surprise engagement. The food was spectacular and worth every penny !!!
we really enjoyed it, thank you for such a great experience!
Other then or gps sending us sending us in the total opposite direction.....the entire birthday experience for our 22yo was impeccable and we will do it again.
The ambiance and view was breathtaking. The food was delicious and our server was more than accommodating. Perfect way to end my weekend with my mom visiting here from Louisiana!
Got kicked out of the restaurant level on Sunday. I made a reservation for 6:45 on Sunday for my girlfriend’s birthday. Despite booking online and interacting with 3 hosts and a server, I was not made aware of the entree minimum until I tried to order our appetizers. Past that, the service was mediocre at best and the manager was rude. The view was beautiful, but the weak service, outdated corporate cocktail menu and nickel and dining policies clearly use it as a crutch.
Perfect experience! The service was amazing as well as the food!
Excellent place for good food, great view of the city from varying angles, wonderful waiters and waitresses. One thing though, the system was down and my guests were not fortunate to get the expected view of the city because the floor did not revolve.
Great food and great service. Been here before but I’m always excited to go back.
Delicious food and a phenomenal atmosphere. We had Sunday brunch with sticky buns, the salmon entree and chicken and waffles. It was very good, fresh, and the service was great.
Anne was amazing. She had a great sense of humor and made the best recommendations. Will definitely go back. It was already our second time there.
The meal was 5-star, like any other fine dining in Atlanta. The aspect that sets this restaurant apart: the turntable dining room, was under maintenance. Had we known this when booking, we would have selected another restaurant. Not because this one is sub-par, simply because we would have waited until we could enjoy the entire experience. The past two times we’ve eaten here (several months between visits), the turntable has been under maintenance. I’m beginning to think there is another reason it’s down, but any transparency would be nice from the Westin or Sundial crew.
Our dining time was 7:30 (sunset dining). Rather than seat us near the west side of the restaurant, we were seated to the south. Again, just a little disappointed because we did not get to enjoy the sunset from our table, as it was my mother’s birthday celebration.
Don't go thinking it's going to be cheap for 2 it ran about $200. Still was a great experience. We had a great time and the Ferris wheel is just a few blocks down the road so we done that after dinner.
It's been a tradition in our family to go to the Sun Dial on Sun. for lunch ( when I could afford it as a single Mom with 3 little girls!) since we moved here 43 years ago. This Sunday was to continue the tradition with our granddaughter and it was wonderful. She glowed and we were so happy to share the experience with her. Thanks to all of the staff because they were all wonderful and thanks to Mimi for being such a delightful server. And our meals were fantastic too.
I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday he so happy and love it❤😍😘
Beautiful view fantastic flavors very good would definitely return
I was not impressed with this visit. The restaurant was not revolving as usual but there were no alerts about this when I made my reservation. This is the only reason I made the reservation- to show my out of town guests views of Atlanta. The Wagyu steak I ordered was good but the sauce on it ruined the whole steak! The chef should seriously consider changing that chimichurri sauce.
At the end of each summer, I try to take my grandson out for lunch to the Sundial, as a celebration before 'going back to school'. He loves the spectacular setting and is now old enough, at 13, to appreciate the changes in the scene below. We like spotting new landmarks like the Mercedes Benz stadium, as well as 'old' landmarks like CNN and the Olympic fountain.
Over the years, since he was a toddler, he has always rated this as a special outing. We loved the menu this year, especially since he's graduated to the adult menu. We took our time eating, talking and 'sightseeing'; the wait staff was terrific and we had the best two hour lunch ever.
Food was very good and views were beautiful even without the rotation. Did a great job helping celebrate a birthday
Excellent service,view and food.
Everything perfect, but i want the restaurant rotate again
Great for 360 view of Atlanta but food is not worth the money.
Absolutely delicious fine dining!
