Absolutely wonderful! The best view in the city! Food was delicious the staff was courteous and helpful! Most definitely will be returning!!
Our meals were pricy but delicious. However I'm willing to pay the price just for the view. Our server, Corey, was outstanding. He recommended tasty dishes, perfectly paired wines & was generally entertaining. I brought 3 guests. The filet, the sea bass & the salmon all got rave reviews! The bread was especially good - it was difficult NOT to fill up on it before the entrees arrived (the sweet potato bread was a hit!).
The perfect view and ambiance. There was so much peace and pleasantry in the restaurant. It was actually my boyfriend's and I brunch date. It was his first time there and even though he tried to act all cool. I knew he loved it! We had a very good time and I know we will be back soon it's one of my favorite places in the city.
The brunch was not what I expected. It was very overpriced for what u got. My guest and I food were cold... the eggs were not fresh and the muffins were very dry and hard . Overall The waiter was amazing and the view was spectacular! I would def go again just for the views and the wine!
Hold on to your wallets . Run from this place it is a scam
Everything was delicious. Service was excellent
I really enjoy myself at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the waitress was superb. The only thing that needs to be fix is the directions to the hotel. Do not choose the direction that says SW, choose street name that says NW. All, my experience was excellent and the view is unforgettable ☺️☺️☺️
From the ride in the elevator to sitting next to the skyline of Atlanta, the experience was wonderful. The food was equal to the view. Oh, and Mimi served us like we were more than we are.
Great place great service. Food was over priced
For what you get
Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
Enjoyed the food and service. The atmosphere of the restaurant was enjoyable.
Amazing experience! Food melted in my mouth!! I recommend the sea bass or scallops!! Delicioso!!
Birthday party with friends. Fiod was wonderful and service was great!!
It was a cloudy day so there was no view, but the food and service by Rhonda was outstanding.
Loved the experience. Will definitely be back. Hopefully there won't be any fog blocking the view next time..
Unfortunately the weather was horrible so we had no view of anything other than clouds, the food and service was excellent!
It was a remarkable time with the man of my dreams, my love for his birthday!
This was one of the most underwhelming and lackluster meals I have had in Atlanta in a long time. Really the only thing enjoyable about this experience was the view which is the only reason I feel this restaurant holds as high a status as it does. To start, the menu for the restaurant lacked a lot of thought and originality. It felt as if you found someone who does not know anything about food and told them to create a fine dining restaurant. In addition, the drink menu had almost no variety, the only cocktails were frozen and fruity rum and vodka based drinks, not at all what one would expect from a high end restaurant. To start we ordered caesar salads, which were actually pretty good but that is where it ends. The bread we received was pretty dry as if it had sat out for a while. Next the entrees were merely okay. I ordered sea-bass, which was a little over cooked and was served with saffron risotto which had potential for much more flavor. My fiancé had the butter poached lobster which was served with cheese grits, the lobster was good but the grits were so salty like they made it with ocean water. We decided not to get desert because of the poor quality of the entrees. Lastly the service was okay but I have had much more attentive service at lower class (and less expensive) restaurants. Overall the value for the experience and food here is 1/5 if even that high. If you want a view I would recommend going to the bar or just to the viewing platform.
Management should consider bringing back the revolving feature. That alone would bring back patrons.
Parents should understand their children need to be taught to behave in strange places.
Our food was great the ambience was fantastic and our server Nadia made our 40th wedding anniversary celebration very special.
Haven’t been in several years. Bummed that the restaurant does not rotate anymore.
Went on a Sunday evening at 7:30
Superb greeter who sat us our table. Made my girlfriend visiting from Argentina feel at ease by speaking to her in Spanish, welcoming her to the States.
Excellent service by Ann - Our waitress.
Always had water in my glass.
Very clean table and efficient service.
Great views until the clouds rolled in. Nobodies fault on that haha
Now the down sides...
Bread was not fresh. Almost dry
Dress code not enforced.
Seems high prices for something I could get at other nicer restaurants.
Dinner at the Sundial restaurant was a great experience. Our waiter Ives was amazing a very attentive. The food was very tasteful and of good quality.
I had the Cheesecake for dessert. It was different to have the Cheesecake, gram crackers, and strawberries separate. I think a strawberry sauce would really take improve that dessert.
Everything was amazing from the food to the views even with the fog during brunch Sunday. We really enjoyed our first visit there!
Absolutely amazing! The view is beautiful, ambiance is a 10 — my boyfriend and I attended for brunch on a Sunday
The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great! Our server, Miss Ann was awesome!!
Fantastic service and locale. We were disappointed when we found out the rotation is no longer available though because that's a major reason why we were going. However the service was fantastic and the food was very good. My wife didn't like her appetizer much but we loved everything else. We had a fun time and the view was still stunning despite the lack of rotation.
The waiter messed up my significant others order. For a $400 dinner, I was not happy.
Valentine's Day dinner was amazing. So sad the restaurant no longer rotates
Nice experience. There were large groups of cheerleaders. Kids running around in socks and a lot of people out of dress code. If we are going to pay for a valentine's experience it would be nice if everyone was held to the dress good standards on a holiday. Also, my lobster tail came out raw, which they deducted from the total cost. Steaks were amazing.
I was there with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We were both nicely dressed, she in a lack dress and heels. I in slacks a dress shirt and a blazer. They seated us across from a group of what appeared to be a girls cheerleading squad...about 14 of them in a booth, with a out four or 5 parental chaperones. They were dressed in sweat suits and were, well, teenage cheer leaders! It was loud and borderline obnoxious. I was going to ask that they move us, but thankfully, the group left before our food arrived so we got to enjoy our meals and hear each other speaking without having to raise our voices. Other than that, everything else was great! The service, the setting, the food! I'll go again, but maybe for dinner next time rather than lunch.
Great service and genuine care from MiMi during our lunch at the Sun Dial. Great dining experience. I would return and definitely recommend to a friend. The cuisine was very tasty from appetizers, to the main meal, to coffee and desert.
Unfortunately our experience started with parking, when valet advised us that there wasn’t any parking available but If we “looked out for him” he would park our vehicle in the garage close to the door. The atmosphere was very nice and elegant. The food was just okay. The scallops were very fishy and undercooked. Also, we were advised that the kitchen was backed up, so we waited awhile for our main course. This experience definitely was not worth $353.
It was nice and amazing ! Perfect ! Elegant and the restrooms were clean! Service was awesome and people were so nice.
It was an amazing experience and the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion.
My girlfriends steak was well below expectations.
Everything was fantastic. I took my wife on Valentine’s Day, there was a special menu and it was delicious. Everything we ordered was truly exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with was professional and seemed truly committed to making our night special. Our table was ready on time, the atmosphere was fantastic, the flowers I ordered were on our table when we got there, and our server was top notch. I would definitely recommend bringing your significant other here for a special occasion or just for a great meal and great service.
This place is awesome! Must try to love birds
This was an out standing experience! I loved everything about it! I would definitely recommend it to everyone. We will be back!
We were here for Valentines day dinner. The food was outstanding and they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Service was great also.
Overpriced and overhyped. They played weird music that didn't fit the place and charged an unreasonable service charge for a table of 2.
This would be my first comment/rating ever. We went for Valentines. Read a lot of reviews that this is Thee best place to go in Atlanta.
I had reserved and put $100 deposit for this night.
We first get the beef tartare - I ate mine and my date’s because I was very hungry. But you can tell that it’s been sitting out for a while - it had turned brown/black in the middle - not a great start.
Then we got our salad and scallops. The scallops were warm.. obviously it had been sitting out before it came to the table and tasted mediocre.. no taste. The puree beneath it was tasteless.
Then we got our surf & turf and Ravioli. The Ravioli was mushy and again, obviously had been sitting there for a while - cold. Not much flavor combined with it being cold - pretty bad.
The surf & turf - the steak was cold/warm. Again, had been sitting there for a while. The lobster was warm - not hot.
We ate half of the surf and turf (not even), and ate 1 ravioli. We left the rest.
The manager came over and asked us how our night was going. We said good but then I was honest about the experience but was extremely nice. He stayed and talked with us for 10 minutes and appreciated our honesty and constructive feedback. He said that he will be taking care of us. He ended up taking out only $50 from the bill. After the discount, I ended up paying $335 for the meal. It’s not about the money, but for that price and for that night, food should be amazing and impeccable experience.
I believe we should have paid for our bottle of wine and $50 for the food. Especially that we didn’t even eat our food. We sent it back.
For $335 dinner, the experience and food was very bad. Would not recommend this place. Also, the manager is nice but he was mainly just talk - didn’t really do anything to rectify our experience.
