The Teahouse Restaurant
One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.
For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.
The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.
We felt very welcomed. We loved the food, the atmosphere and the amazing view.
Jason the manager was very helpful and our waiter Jakub was friendly and charming
Very enjoyable dinning experience. Great server and bartender.
Our waiter was amazing, the food perfection! Start-to-finish, well executed, especially given the complexity of the order.
The food was awesome. Our server Jade was amazing!
The food was excellent as was the service, atmosphere and view. I would highly recommend!
This restaurant is amazing. Great food, with amazing services and a gorgeous view.
Beautiful location and wonderful service. Food was good, but would like to have seen a wider tea selection for breakfast.
We had a gorgeous view watching sunset while we are enjoying food. Our attendant was great and we had fabulous evening. Thank you!!
John was a great server—-very friendly and knowledgeable!!
Great service , food , table and view
The Teahouse has the perfect location--overlooking Burrard Strait. It's pleasant on warm summer days (there is an outside patio), and on cold rainy days inside by the fireplace. The food is very good, but could be a little more adventurous; service is always pleasant, capable and helpful. A great place for a special lunch or dinner.
We love being in window seats! The seats we sat in were fine but inside and a bit squashed!
Stuffed mushrooms is a must. Duck confit was a bit too salty but soft and tender. Tuna salad was great. Overall, service was the best. Had a pleasant bday dinner there. Highly recommended!
Special anniversary diner with friends. First our server spilled wine when pouring and did not seem to want to clean up the spill. Our food arrived cold and our prime rib dinner plates did not have Yorkshire’s. We had to ask for them. Asked for horseradish twice before it came. Prime rib was okay, not as good as the Keg. We did get desserts free, but would have preferred better food and service.
Great food and John provided outstanding service
Had a delightful meal on Sunday evening..th prime rib dinner was superb..excellent service from John..overall a very enjoyable evening
The Teahouse has always been my favourite place to bring people from out of town and special occasions for brunch. The Location, setting, ambience and food are always excellent.
I had friends visiting from NS and what a beautiful place to show them, we got a window table as well! Our server was wonderful, very kind and attentive and happy to take our picture! Great lunch, we all really enjoyed it! :)
We had friend visiting from our of the country and wanted to show them a special evening out and one in which they could enjoy the famous Tea House Sunset. We sat outside - our server was friendly and gave us excellent service and suggestions. The meal was outstanding - they and we enjoyed every minute of our time there - just too bad that we waited for out of country guests to come visit before we went back and enjoyed one of our very favourite spots in Vancouver. Thanks
Lovely place to spend a long lunch with amazing views!! Just one thing - open table resv said Business Casual as dress code but in fact the Tea House has no dress code !!
Can't beat that view, and the food was delicious! We know we can always count on that!
My wife and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Our server, Jade, was outstanding. I had a steak done to perfection and my wife had the rack of lamb and said it was fantastic
We’ll be back
Service was awful, server wasn’t very knowledgeable in the product being offered. Had to pour our wine for the entire bottle. Had to request water, was not offered. Had to request dishes be removed from appetizers and used bread plates were cleared as dessert arrived. The server barely came to our table, took 2 hours to complete our meal.
The food was great and once ordered came in a timely manner.
The manager did make amends by reducing our bill which was appreciated.
We celebrate a birthday here at least once a year; however, the last 2 years the servers have been subpar. The food is acceptably priced but you expect good service which has been nonexistent our last couple of trips.
We will likely be finding a new spot to celebrate birthdays, it will be a shame to miss the food and the setting.
Our server Beth was awesome. The restaurant made our anniversary special. Would go back definately
Beautiful place! Good service. Sunday Roast Beef special a bit disappointing. Otherwise, a special place!
We went back to Tea house to celebrate our anniversary but realized that the menu has been changed over time to be less and less accommodating to people who have food sensitivities and I think it's a clear sign from a restaurant that not everyone is welcome to enjoy their time at this beautiful location, and is rigid about choosing to serve people who are sea food and steak eaters ! We also ordered our cocktails and one of those was not well made and it was delivered quite late . So that sums up the whole experience. The server was certainly very nice and polite but then food was just average
We have been to the restaurant many times and we always have a wonderful time. We picked a night when the weather was spectacular. We had a quiet table so our conversation was great. The service was excellent and our waitress was very helpful. The food as usual was excellent. I'm sure we will be back before too long.
Lovely lovely restaurant - does not disappoint in any away - food is delicious - we had the halibut sable fish and the lamb - also desserts were tasty - it is a calm relaxing space - great service and lovely views !
The waiter (John) was in a constant rush, as if he wanted to go home. he took away the menus before we were ready, skipped the drinks ordering, the cheque had arrived without me asking. The entire table felt he was doing a poor job.
The food was ok, steak and halibut both overdone. Way overpriced for the quality.
We’ve been to the Teahouse a few times and their food and services are outstanding! We have never had a disappointing experience. Make sure you make your reservation, especially during the summer
The service we received was outstanding. Our food was scrumptuous!! Fabulous evening.
Food, view and service was fantastic. Loved the whole experience.
Not impressed with the food. My expectations were probably too high. Service great, food eh.
Wonderful evening on the patio for a sunset dinner. Colin spoiled us, try to sit in his section. The halibut was excellent as was the steak. Brussels sprouts are a must. Order the raspberry sorbet & thank me later.
We booked an early dinner with my grandfather and it was lovely. Service was prompt and friendly, food was good and the overall atmosphere was great. We loved the opportunity to cross the street and enjoy the park following our meal.
My friend and I met up for a reunion in Vancouver. I picked the Teahouse for its location in Stanley Park and for the menu. We got stuck in traffic from the festival of light and called to let the restaurant know we would be late. They completely understood and said it would not be a problem. Once we arrived we were offered patio or inside seating. We picked the patio bc it was gorgeous outside. It did take our server a minute to acknowledge us but they were busy it was a gorgeous Saturday and lunch time. We split the charcuterie and cheese plate which was delicious, then both had a salad. My prawn & panzanella salad was very yummy. We really enjoyed our lunch and I would highly recommend the Teahouse to anyone visiting Vancouver.
Excellent service in a beautiful setting. Each dish was well prepared. We had stuffed mushrooms and Brussels sprouts that were perfect. Salmon, perfectly cooked, lovely very fresh seasonal greens and beautiful eggs Benedict. I will always go there when in Stanley park.
Our first visit at the Teahouse with wonderful views of the water/beach. The ambiance was lovely and cheerful; the fish and chips were the best we’ve had! Thank you for an amazing experience set in a beautiful backdrop of Stanley Park.
Nice meal. Food was delicious.
