The Teahouse Restaurant
One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.
For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.
The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.
Need to book at 1:15 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Definitely recommend the truffle fries !
The service here was amazing and they couldn't have been more helpful ordering me a cab. Only downside was they brought my main as I was finishing my starter- not sure if this is a usual Canadian thing but unexpected
Birthday dinner and some of the meals came out cold.
A great place to go to celebrate a special occasion ie Birthday. The Cartrudery Board was a great start to the evening and the Sable Fish was amazing. It melted in your mouth.
We had a great lunch at the Tea House. Such a beautiful restaurant and location. Truly a Vancouver gem. Nick our waiter was amazing!!!
Overall is good
Always nice service, only a little busy and speed is slow.
Anna and Jason the host was friendly and accommodating.
So beautiful! The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. Would come back again for more!
Favourite place to eat. Many family celebrations or just the two of us. Enjoy a walk down to the beach
then a wonderful meal. Food and service outstanding. Ambience very special.
I truly would like to see more gluten free options on menus. Restaurants are good for the most part in omitting allergens from a dish, but my meal is somehow diminished.
Why not just make gluten free versions of dishes: honestly, it usually is just as good & many times it’s a better rush! Just saying... But I did have a nice brunch with my family & no cross contamination . Thank you
The food was great but the server disappeared and didn't give me all my courses that I paid for?
I cant say enough good things about "The Teahouse Restaurant".
Such a beautiful venue with amazing food.
The service was spectacular, they made our anniversary dinner extra special.
I will certainly be back!
A perfect balance of service: food to serving staff. Tempest knee exactly when to check in and when to give privacy. The food arrived quickly, as hot, well-portioned, and delicious.
One of Vancouver’s best locations! Beautiful views. Food was good, my rack of lamb was terrific. My partner’s duck confit was tasty, but a bit salty. Our antipasti plate was great. Of course, you pay extra for the location and the view.
Great food, wonderful room and our waiter Kyle was A++
Great place for a special dinner. Food is great, rated it 4 stars due to a steak that was undercooked. Our waitress was quick to have this resolved.
This was Valentine’s Day - so no big surprise that the restaurant would be full - they knew this beforehand, so cannot claim to be caught off guard - service was appalling - if we did not accost the server every time we wanted a drink - we would not have been asked. The food came out in the wrong order - meal before appetizers???
Not very impressed!
Promote them all, the waiters were fantastic and the food was amazing
Lovely ambience, great service, food was average as the Caesar salad was average and there was a long black hair in it.
Friendly and professional. Amazing view and quality food. Worth the trip
We were celebrating an important anniversary with long time friends. We understand it was Saturday and lunch time, but it was difficult to hear across the table. There was a wedding and two birthday celebrations so very noisy.
We have been to the Teahouse several times..perhaps mid week though. Never this noisy. The menu was also disappointing. There were very unusual choices with high prices ie waffles with duck confit, $25, crab cake benedict $29. It seemed as though the menu was an attempt to be trendy and geared for tourists.
Would we return...probably yes, as the ambiance is lovely and the view stunning. We would, however, go during the week and enjoy the "lunch" menu" which is much closer to what we were expecting. The server was great1
Very nice!! Great food and amazing view. Very nice staff too.
Phenomenal, the staff is amazing. Very caring about what we would enjoy the most. Gave us outstanding recommendations on what to eat.
always a wonderful and elegant treat. There is no location like it, the historical value is so wonderful and the experience is very satisfying.
Super yummy food for dine out vancouver. Servers were super kind and everything came in a timely manner. GM Jason is awesome and we love his attention to detail and he checks to make sure everything was going well. Would definitely come again!!!
Hadn’t been back to the Tea House for some, but it was as good as always. Coming from Abbotsford is a small price to pay for a special event, which it’s always been when we visit the Tea House, sometimes just the two of us, sometimes with our family which are now all grown.
Good ambiance but pretty average food. Nothing that interesting on the menu (for dine-out 2020, didn't try the regular menu) and brussel sprouts were under cooked.
I went with my family and we had a good time. Really beautiful view daytime and night, nice cosy and slightly upscale atmosphere. Food was good enough, not the best I’ve had at this price point but portions were reasonable. Go for the experience and special occasions.
The staff was friendly and made sure to accommodate my party's dietary requests. We dined in the solarium, which was bright and gave us a beautiful view of English Bay.
It was a very pleasant experience: great service, great food and great ambiance!
Celebrated my son's birthday at the Teahouse and was totally impressed by the ambiance, service and food quality. Mussels and Osso Buco are to die for! Thank you for the experience, We'll be back!
This was my third visit to the Teahouse and was by far my best. Had the Dine Out menu, and the mussels to start were the best mussels I have ever had. The broth was sublime. For the main I had the chicken with a perfectly crispy skin, and a delicious and slightly sweet gravy, with couscous and brussel sprouts perfectly cooked. Dessert was beautifully plated orange upside down cake. All of this tied well with the Stanley Park seasonal ale. Our server Sacha was excellent, very friendly, attentive and helpful. We sat in the dining room on the north side as it poured rain outside; it was very cozy and romantic. Can't wait to go back!
