Excellent food ambience and service
We came for the picturesque view from Stanley Park but were treated with great food & service as well. An evening to remember
Beautiful day, warm greeting, our request for outside couldn’t be me and inside was fine. Our waiter was excellent- food and wine was very good
My Girlfriend and I went for our anniversary and the place was excellent, Our Server Kelley was fantastic very personable and knew a lot about the menu and restaurant. Atmosphere was great we sat outside in the garden patio and had a perfect view of the sunset. Food was absolutely delicious, and to top it all off they took care of our dessert for us!
And in all a perfect night out.
Good food, beautiful setting, and superb service. We always leave here happy. Thank you!
Service was minimal ... but food was excellent and location beautiful.
Lovely view, excellent food. What else can one ask for?
they have the BEST truffle fries! im not sure why its at the bottom of their menu but the fries are so flavourful and crisp! best ones ive had so far!
I love covid dining.
It’s so peaceful.
It was a magical evening.
Parking a bit crazy, but they are trying hard!
We came there after reserving a table the day beforehand and had requested for patio seating. We were told it would take 20 minutes to set a table and we were fine with that. The Head of the House who attended us was very nice and accommodating and the view was beautiful nonetheless. Their servers were terrible and complacent. What a disappointment.
After we got our food, a bee came in bothering us. Normally, I don't care about bees as often and they leave me alone after a while. But this specific bee was persistent and kept trying to get to our food. My parents and I kept shooing the bee to prevent it from landing on my food and this kept happening on and off for a good 20 minutes. I noticed people were staring at us and there were at least 2 SERVERS that kept coming around in our area. Not once did they even try to help us during this time. I have never been so disappointed at a restaurant especially since I expected more class. I had a sprained ankle and I had to get up myself and ask the Head of the House and the Manager for help since it was evident no one else was going to. The Manager was fine and gave us a candle which worked.
When our server had asked us if she can clear our table, I was fine with it. She gave the bilI and didn't think much of it. I was talking to my Dad and said I would pay for it as a treat after he came back from the washroom. Right after I said this, I see the machine in front of me. This was rude because I never asked for the machine yet and my dad and I were still finishing our drinks. It felt as if the server (she) wanted us to leave right away and didn't care. I felt rushed. I've been to many restaurants before both in fine dining and regular. This is by far the worse I service. I have never been so disappointed at a restaurant before for being treated as if I should leave right away and for the negligence of the staff. It felt fake and ruined the experience. What a waste.
Services was terrible, they forgot to bring us drinks, they never check how our food was after they brought it , I had to get their attention every time I need it something. Food was OK, not like it used to be.
Great service, awesome patio dinner to enjoy a special night with friends!
Was pleased to dine on the patio at a quiet table for 2 as requested. We both ordered the $45 per person meal which included 3 courses (starter, main, dessert) similar to the Dine Out Vancouver deal. The food quality was excellent and the variety of choices were fine. My friend had the salmon and I had the duck confit. Both were delicious and portions were adequate.
Parking (although limited because some spots have been converted into a dedicated bike lane) was good as a staff member was screening cars as they drove in, allowing those with dinner reservations to park.
We were happy to support this iconic restaurant during Covid and very pleased that tables were socially distanced on the outdoor patio.
Awesome service and tasty food. Parking is a bit complicated so plan to get there ahead of time
Service was wonderful. High end meals would highly recommend to family and friends.
Our favourite place to celebrate annual birthdays. What a beautiful setting and historic ambiance.
We were there for my friend’s birthday dinner. Server Sasha was so friendly and gave exceptional service. General Manager Jason is a rockstar!!!! Great views and lovely ambiance. Awesome service. Teahouse is amazing!
A beautiful location for a nice lunch. We had great service and enjoyed the view looking out over the Pacific.
Most will drive to the restaurant via the one-way road thru Stanley Park. If the weather is amenable and you have time, I’d suggest a stroll through the well groomed trail system there and back.
Always a favourite of mine. Have celebrated many birthdays and anniversaries here. Staff is always very accommodating, pleasant, particular, attentive and efficient. The food is very good, nicely presented and served hot. There is flexibility in the menu if you need it.
Location is unbeatable in the magnificent Stanley Park and incredible view of the outer harbour.
A real ‘vacation’ feel minutes away from the city. Such a beautiful setting - even a Lovers’ Walk by the restaurant - how lovely is that! The restaurant is scrupulous about following Covid safety protocols so we weren’t anxious about eating there. The lunch menu was a bit more limited than the dinner one, but one could get the 3 course set menu even at lunch. Our server was pleasant and very attentive. Thank you!
The setting, the food & the service were all perfect.
cute little spot in Stanley park with amazing views - food is very good value and delicious.
Excellent service! Very good food! Beautiful views!
This place needs a little TLC. Wobbly tables, uninspired styling, boring & beat-up dishware.
I spent quite a bit of money at this place but didn’t walk away very satisfied. The restaurant did not seem particularly busy but the service dragged on, food was served warm, (very disappointing) and portions were frugal.
Drinks were terrific, I do recommend the Caesar.
Dessert was really boring and I do not recommend
This venue is much improved with the arrival of a new chef since last summer. Beautiful flat breads and salads and a respectable if not overly adventurous wine list. A perfect venue on a summer night and extraordinary and attentive service.
The tea house is one of our favs. We were lucky we got John again as our server. He was very good.
John our server was excellent, very attentive and assisted us well. Such a beautiful setting. Parking is sometimes a challenge however it is a short 7 minute walk along the seawall from second beach parking if there is none
available at the restaurant...
Our server Mark was exceptional.
Service was non responsive, menu was small maybe due to COVID. Food was average but atmosphere is wonderful on the patio.
I have mixed feelings as it could be so much more.
An unique experience! The view is amazing and staff very helpful. We will be there again soon.
Delicious meal. Beautiful patio and location at Ferguson Point in Stanley Park.
Our first time eating here and was very Pleasantly surprised, a beautiful sunny afternoon, set on the patio enjoy the view, service and food was excellent, will definitely go again.
Magnifique endroit, excellente cuisine, excellent service courtois. J'y retournerai certainement.
We had a splendid meal. I had the lamb and it was perfectly done. My partner had the sable fish with black rise. The appetizers were mussels provencal and crab cake. The mussels were truly excellent with the sauce with a hint of peppermint. The crab cake was less inspiring but still very good. The wine selection is very good but could be improved by offering more options for single glass servings. Because of COVID it takes some time to get to the point so give yourself plenty of time to get there. The entrance from The Lion's Gate Bridge is now closed so one needs to proceed the entire way around the park and there is only one lane open so one's arrival time is determined by the slowest car on the road. The desert options are limited between chocolate mousse cake and lemon tart. We opted for the former. It was excellent. I haven't been to this restaurant since the 1990s. I am happy to see that it hasn't lost any of its excellence of ambience. Be sure to let the restaurant know you will need parking as it is a premium due to the closure of parking during COVID. Kudos to our waiter was Sasha who was outstanding. If you are looking for a romantic evening this is a wonderful choice and it could be much more expensive because of its charm and elegance. It is a wonderful choice for a first date! There is a three course set menu we didn't chose but looked outstanding.
We love this restaurant and we were looking forward to coming back to the teahouse. They did not disappoint ..thanks for giving us our favorite table❤️
Daily soup was great. food was ok. service was great.
As always, the overall experience was very good and it is why we keep coming back. On this occasion however I do need to comment on the mussels. They were very large in size and presumably, as a result, less flavourful than usual. It is the first time we needed to be given fresh shell bowls as the first was full of shells while there were still a number of mussels to be eaten.
We had brunch here and it was fantastic! The food was outstanding and the service friendly and quick.
We had an outstanding evening at The Teahouse last night. The atmosphere and view of the sunset were amazing, and the service was spectacular. We ordered the barrata as an appetizer, and the sablefish and halibut for mains. Everything was absolutely delicious. As far as Covid, their tables were sufficiently spaced out and protocols were followed. They also have a lovely patio as well as picnic options. I highly recommend eating at the Teahouse (and at the same time supporting this Vancouver landmark restaurant).
