The Teahouse Restaurant
One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.
The natural west coast atmosphere is perfectly enhanced by Executive Chef Alan Tse's cuisine using fresh local ingredients.
For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.
The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.

Great wine list and the waiter made great suggestions. It was wonderful evening and we will be back Thankyou
ate lunch at the Teahouse 29 years ago on a visit to Vancouver and had wonderful memories of the experience. Another great memory made with the most recent visit!
Beautiful venue, gorgeous view. Brunch was very good, service great. I had forgotten how much I love this spot- I will definitely be back soon!
Great table with fantastic view, very nice ambiance, very good service. The only disappointment was the Wild Mushroom Ravioli, which 2 people at the table ordered, was completely overwhelmed by the pesto sauce - completely drowned out the delicate taste of the mushrooms. Would have been better to use the pesto as a garnish instead of a sauce. Otherwise very nice overall - can’t beat the location!
Wonderful place. So pretty. If the weather is good, plan your time near sunset. They will customize anything on the menu. Fantastic mushroom soup and avocado toast
We had a lovely evening even though the weather didn't cooperate -- no sunset, unfortunately! Too cloudy and rainy. But the food, as usual, was delicious. And our server was attentive and delightful. A long wait for main courses was a bit frustrating -- there were two larger parties whose orders seemed to clog up the kitchen. But surely the staff could anticipate this and get our order in before the big groups?
Delicious meals , very good service and beatiful view.
One of the best restaurants for service we have every dine
Excelente y hermoso lugar en Stanley Park! Muy bonita ambientación, precios elevados.
Recomiendo la Hamburguesa de salmón y su cerveza local.
Our 3 birthday's celebration was so very thoughtfully taken care of - from our 'first arrival' treat to an after lunch treat too with candles. Service was 'the best' and graciously friendly and attentive.
Atmosphere in natural surroundings is absolutely amazing - a feast for the eyes in itself and historical ambiance delightfully soulful.
The setting is absolutely fabulous and all the staff are 'courteously professional'.
Thanks again, we'll be back!
Very enjoyable food and a great spot for views when it’s not raining. Good friendly service.
Nice location, quiet and good food, i would go back and recomand
Beautiful location. Portions were small. Service was very average. Went home for second dinner. Eat before you go to avoid disappointment.
The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant for lunch. We were not disappointed. We sat outdoors and had a beautiful view of the bay. Service was outstanding and the food was amazing. If we ever return to Vancouver, we will definitely schedule a stop here for lunch or dinner.
I have been a long time customer for the Teahouse. Unfortunately, over recent years, I have felt that the menu items and food too have deteriorated. No longer is there steak tar tar or puff pastries like they used to make. Even the "doggie bags" have changed. They used to sculpt a swan out of aluminum foil to take food home in!!1 All these things made the Teahouse extra special!
Although the service was great, the last two times we have been there, we lacked the excellent food experience. This last time I ordered the Teahouse salad, which was average, and a side of cauliflower with sauce. This was extremely bland. Not at all up to the old standards of the Teahouse.
Q was a really good and friendly server. Food was excellent and the atmosphere great.
Spreading out our ten year anniversary celebration due to it work schedules. We wished we would’ve made more time to enjoy the park first—perhaps tomorrow. Made friends with the table next to us (they’re from TN, us from LA originally/now Washingtonians) Anna was attentive and kept the evening flowing
Visiting Vancouver, B.C. with my daughter and had to see if The Teahouse had changed in 30 + years. It was still beautiful and the food was fantastic. Our waiter was attentive and his recommendations were spot on. Enjoyed our brunch! Hope to come back before another 30 years goes by.
We were seated on their nice patio with ocean view, blankets and heaters. Inside the restaurant, you'll find a beautiful, elegant dining room -- also with great views. The waiters had a lot to do, and were still excellent, helpful, friendly, and accommodating! The food was delicious. We had a great time!
The waiter was really nice to talk with. And the food was excellent! I enjoyed very much.
Very enjoyable atmosphere and the service and food was great.
The food is tasteless, I would not recommend to anyone who is looking forward to good food.
I was visiting Vancouver with friends and decided to take them here during a bike ride through Stanley Park. We had been to this location before and really enjoyed the atmosphere and view from this spot.
The restaurant is very nice, the people were friendly and the food is very good too, but the view is the attraction therefor me.
Excellent place to have lunch with an old friend. Service was very friendly
The atmosphere is great. We took visitors and they had great time. The food options are great. We had soup of the day. It was very tasty. I just wish the portion had been a bit bigger.
One of our guests had a burger, I had the smoked salmon pizza. Wonderful. Others had a salad with goat cheese and shrimp.
The waiter a recent transplant from the UK was a lot of fun.
We have been going here for over 20 years. Every time we come up from LA on our way to Victoria we stop for lunch or dinner. You do need to make reservations and plan to spend at least two hours.
My mother and I enjoyed our lunch. It's a beautiful location, and so pleasant to dine here.
The only hiccups were the mixed green salad, which the waiter very kindly split for us, was a bit sad with wilted brown lettuce. However, he quickly took it away and replaced it with a fresh salad.
The second hiccup was that my tea cup wasn't heated; clearly this is a teahouse in name only.
Otherwise, lovely meal.
Birthday and retirement I was made to feel very special. Manager checked on us a couple of times to make sure all was well. Wonderful table with sunset views.
Unimpressed with the avocado toast. Interesting but it’s some sort of creation that needs a different name. It’s not avo toast. Latte was good and service was outstanding and lovely as always.
I visited the Teahouse on a Saturday afternoon after a walk in Stanley Park. It's a lovely venue, the location and decor are very nice. The service at the restaurant was excellent, our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered from the weekend brunch menu and the food was very nice. I would go back to the Teahouse, probably only for special occasions though as it is fairly pricey.
As always the Teahouse is an amazing place to dine. The service is incredible.
Rack of lamb was tough- hard to cut. Needed to change knives to cut it. Steak was thin and tough. Used to be my go to restaurant in Vancouver. Very disappointed.
The food quality of this restaurant has been much better, fit for foodies, in the past. I wonder what changed. On the positive side, our server Mark was excellent, and the location is beautiful.
A lovely spot in beautiful Stanley park for an elevated, but still casual bite. The fish and chips were some of the best I’ve had.
The food tastes so good!!!
The service was a little off and food was okay. We had to wait awhile to get our initial service even though the restaurant was slow at the time.
The wind soughs softly through the pines at Ferguson Point, as the sun sets scintillatingly on English Bay. You hear warm laughter, soft conversation, the tinkle of dishes and silverware. The glow in the windows calls out to you. As you enter, you are bathed in warm welcomes. Seated on the patio, you can feel the beautiful evening at Stanley Park unfolding, seemingly just for you and your partner. The food is fresh and delicious, the staff warm and polite. What better way to consummate a special occasion! We return again and again, dinner on Saturday night, divine brunch on the patio on Sunday morning. Thanks for the memories!!
Excellent service, great view. The drive to the restaurant through scenic Stanley Park was amazing. Definitely a go-to place for brunch or lunch if you have guests from out of town.
Lovely place, great views, excellent service
Service was excellent, friendly, quick, polite; food was delicious; love the patio and view of ocean; enjoyed walking along seawall from English Bay to get to restaurant and walk back; great location!
Lovely setting and venue.
Food is delicious and presentation is outstanding.
