The Teahouse Restaurant

Really enjoyed delicious fresh food and gorgeous scenery. So close to Seawall for walks after. And could have conversation without yelling even though packed with people. Great acoustics! Recommend!
It was great! Took us a long time to get the bill though. No complaints beside that!
We had guests in from California and, as asked, a table with a view of the incredible sunset was reserved for us. From the moment we walked in the door the staff was attentive and pleasant. We will definitely go again.
the bread is really good.
Service slow. Great food and view! Would come again. Prices were as expected. Simple menu.
Every food item we ordered was exceptionally well done.
Very good, food was over salted but still a good experience.
While the evening was mostly excellent, service was slow. It was not busy - perhaps only 1/3 full, but it took more than ten minutes for drinks to arrive.
We walked through the forest to this beautiful spot. An elegant space both indoors and outdoors. Friendly and accommodating staff. The presentation of our meals were so nice especially the deserts. The mushroom ravioli with pesto was delicious. The burgers were tasty and the lemon tart was spot on. We were celebrating a birthday and last day visiting Vancouver. It did not disappoint. Our server Mark made us feel at home. Last but not least the view. It’s beautiful.
it had been ten years since we had visited. we wanted to bring our friends from Ohio. we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. we made reservations for 730 pm and showed up at 635 pm, way early. We were accommodated quickly. Very nice and unusual. Thank you.
We were there for Thanksgiving and had the Thanksgiving menu. The price was reasonable for a delicious 3 course meal. We got there 5 mins prior to our reservation time and were seated immediately at the cozy fireplace. The service was lovely and food came in a timely manner. We didn't feel rushed at all. We managed to even catch a beautiful sunset as we enjoyed our dinner. The only negative was that my son ordered off the al la carte menu and was not too thrilled about his meal as the restaurant didn't have what he initially ordered and was not really happy with his second choice.
The food although not the most delicious I've tasted, was still quite good and the ambience made up for it, making it a very lovely experience.
Great little place. We are traveling and were looking for somewhere to experience Canadian Thanksgiving dinner - at only $39 for three courses this was perfect. The view from the windows is stunning and we had a lovely wine too without it making dinner for three an unreasonable price.
It’s worth a walk in the park to find, though you can also drive up.
Highly recommend. Our waiter Kelley was wonderful - he found an alternative main course for the vegetarian in our party and even offered some advice for other places to see on our travels.
Went for Thanksgiving dinner it was amazing food and service!
A Vancouver "must experience" restaurant of note. Not only is it a high-end restaurant IN Stanley Park, it also offers the perfect ambiance for every meal from breakfast/brunch to dinner in style. Love this place!
For the most part the food was good, but we had the special, Roast beef with yorkshire. The yorkshire pudding was dry and tasteless and there was just a little reduction in the way of gravy. Meat was very tough. Would not recommend it.
Delicious food and excellent service in a lovely location . Only downside - There was a wedding on so it was very noisy. We sat outside on the heated patio to eat and some of the drunk wedding guests came and sat near us shouting to one another really loudly, so it was a little difficult to have a quiet romantic time (we were visiting from England so it was a bit of a shame). Still we would go back.
I really appreciated the server going the extra mile to get me a real martini glass. She must've known that I prefer a stemmed glass from the computer records.
Great food with great service in one of the best settings in Stanley Park. We go to the Teahouse every chance we get when vacation in the Vancouver area. It always meets our high expectations.
Fantastic experience ,would highly recommend it to all my friends
We reserved ahead of time and it was quick and easy. No problems with the reservation.
Our guests were visiting from Ireland and they were impressed with the setting, the view from our window table (as requested), the food, wine and prompt & courteous services. We couldn't have asked for a better experience - as always at the Teahouse in Stanley Park.
We sat on the patio overlooking a beautiful setting in front of Burrard Inlet. It was a sunny day, the patio patio heaters made it perfect on a Sept day. Food was good, service was very prompt & friendly. Would definitely come back
1. Food: Side of asparagus had far too much salty grated cheese on it so that was all you could taste.
Stuffed mushroom caps were no different than something purchased in a grocery store and just tasted like Philadelphia cream cheese.
Lobster tail was absurdly small (though I was expecting it to be, just not quite THAT small!) and not much effort was made with the Caesar salad, which again, tasted like bottled dressing you'd buy in a supermarket.
2. Noise: Large table of women near us were very loud throughout.
3. Service: Waiter disappeared after serving us our main course and we had to hunt him down to order dessert and then again to pay the bill.
4. Clean-up: The biggest annoyance. Our reservation was for 8 p.m. and while we were waiting for our waiter to come back to order dessert, it was really inappropriate for staff to be packing up large banquet tables and lugging them around us during our meal and cleaning the restaurant. Felt as if we were in the middle of a construction zone and they were practically vacuuming under our feet, or it felt as if that was the next thing they were going to do if we didn't quickly eat our dessert (when the waiter finally did come back), and get the hell out of there.
Overall everything was great, no waiting when we arrived, food was delicious, our waiter was very professional and friendly. We didn’t feel rushed to finish. I will recommend it, the view is breathtaking.
Good service, good food and good value, book a table as turning up off spec is a bit of a lottery
Our server Dianella was delightful and made our night.
Fantastic staff who made the day for us and the guests we were with
Great wine list and the waiter made great suggestions. It was wonderful evening and we will be back Thankyou
On the right day, the Teahouse has a beautiful view and setting. The food is fresh, but preparations are so-so - nothing special to report.
ate lunch at the Teahouse 29 years ago on a visit to Vancouver and had wonderful memories of the experience. Another great memory made with the most recent visit!
Beautiful venue, gorgeous view. Brunch was very good, service great. I had forgotten how much I love this spot- I will definitely be back soon!
Great table with fantastic view, very nice ambiance, very good service. The only disappointment was the Wild Mushroom Ravioli, which 2 people at the table ordered, was completely overwhelmed by the pesto sauce - completely drowned out the delicate taste of the mushrooms. Would have been better to use the pesto as a garnish instead of a sauce. Otherwise very nice overall - can’t beat the location!
Wonderful place. So pretty. If the weather is good, plan your time near sunset. They will customize anything on the menu. Fantastic mushroom soup and avocado toast
We had a lovely evening even though the weather didn't cooperate -- no sunset, unfortunately! Too cloudy and rainy. But the food, as usual, was delicious. And our server was attentive and delightful. A long wait for main courses was a bit frustrating -- there were two larger parties whose orders seemed to clog up the kitchen. But surely the staff could anticipate this and get our order in before the big groups?
Delicious meals , very good service and beatiful view.
One of the best restaurants for service we have every dine
Excelente y hermoso lugar en Stanley Park! Muy bonita ambientación, precios elevados.
Recomiendo la Hamburguesa de salmón y su cerveza local.
Our 3 birthday's celebration was so very thoughtfully taken care of - from our 'first arrival' treat to an after lunch treat too with candles. Service was 'the best' and graciously friendly and attentive.
Atmosphere in natural surroundings is absolutely amazing - a feast for the eyes in itself and historical ambiance delightfully soulful.
The setting is absolutely fabulous and all the staff are 'courteously professional'.
Thanks again, we'll be back!
Very enjoyable food and a great spot for views when it’s not raining. Good friendly service.
Nice location, quiet and good food, i would go back and recomand
Beautiful location. Portions were small. Service was very average. Went home for second dinner. Eat before you go to avoid disappointment.
