As always we had a wonderful dinner before seeing the show at the Sellersville theater.
Very friendly staff & pleasant restaurant. Perfect for pre-theatre - it’s next door!
Good food & we will b back
First time dining. Seemed small but the service and food quickly made me forget about the tight quarters. Food was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and were brought a dessert to sing to our guest with. It was a really cozy feeling. Would definitely recommend dining here.
We all loved our meals. Menu was very interesting and had something for all. Bar maid and waitress were so welcoming and informative. The dining rooms looked great. We will certainly stop in again during the week when not so busy. Highly recommend for a great dinner and nice atmosphere.
Whenever I go to see a show in Sellersville, I look forward to dining at The Washington House. The food is fantastic, the staff attentive, decor is classic, and they have a great beer list as well.
My friend said it was the best meal he'd had in a long time. The hostess moved my reservation up so we could get to the show next door on time. Great job!
We had a great dinner.A sweet server.A awesome night
We always enjoy our dining at the Washington House.
The food is great and worth the price.
It is a nice place for dinner before or after a show at the theatre.
Ambiance is nice, food was great, but came out much to quickly after getting my appetizers, felt more like fast-food instead of a dining experience.
Food & service was great as usual. Regular menu items are always great but look forward to see what are the entree specials. This visit they included Fish & Chips & Corned Beef. Do not pass on the opportunity for these specials. Bar makes an awesome Italian Margarita!
Menu selections are updated frequently and are always unique and, for the ones we've tried, they have been delicious. Would highly recommend this establishment for great food, excellent service and great ambiance!
Great for pre-show at the Sellersville Theater. Service was very good and timing excellent.
Just a burger this time, but it was perfect.
The service staff was very friendly and acco odating. The ambiance was superior. The taste of my salmon entre was superb: cooked perfectly. My only disappointment was that there was little or no side vegetable...at least a spring mix salad would have sufficed given the price of this dinner entre.
Given our first dining experience, we will definitely return for another tasty meal.
Wonderful meal. Had the lamb bolognese with homemade pasta. Excellent! Service was great as well.
Sur Pringle nice dinner. First time there. Food and service was quite good!
We always eat at The Washington House when heading to a concert at Sellersville Theatre. Never disappointed, although I wish you had Scallops as an Appetizer. Surf and Turf is good, but only 2 Scallops are offered. I would rather have more Scallops alone or maybe with a sauce, maybe like 4 or 5 Scallops.
They were offered as a special at one time when we went.
Margaritas are good, but I wish you offered flavored Margaritas as well.
Thank you for your suggestions! We always appreciate constructive advice and will consider how we can offer more fun margarita choices.
Nice location adjacent to the Sellersville Theater. Old fashioned inn with a nice menu selection.
We got the Sunday Brunch and our choices were good; we got our desserts "to go" as we were full. They were delicious eaten later! The nearby bar was busy and seemed to be a nice local place to hang out.
CUTE LITTLE SPOT IN AN OLD VICTORIAN BUILDING/HOTEL. FOOD IS VERY GOOD AND WELL PREPARED. NICE LIST OF WINES BY THE GLASS. GREAT PLACE TO HAVE DINNER BEFORE GOING TO A SHOW AT THE THEATER NEXT DOOR.
Entree was perfect and desserts were outstanding. Would do it again.
very nice establishment. our waitress, Sara was fantastic.
I had gumbo. Excellent. Wife had scallops
Appetizer. Cornbread w/ sauce not so good, scallops good. For entree I had bourbon pork loin. Excellent. Wife had lamb bolognese, very good, noodles were excellent. For dessert we shared the rum raisin apple crisp. Very good, not exceptional. The house coffee was exceptional. Overall the scallops appetizer needs work.
Food was delicious!
A memorable visit for my entire party. Good drinks from the bar, excellent appetizers, entrees, and deserts. An wonderful start to a great evening, with the show at the beautiful ST94 theater next door.
My wife and I have been here a few times and never hesitate to come back. Good tables. Good food. Decent wine list. The staff was solid, if a bit overwhelmed at times, but it was a busy concert night.
Pleasant , friendly server & Lunch choices were outstanding.
Very nice place . Was surprised to see Micky Dolenz from the Monkees come in and sat behind me . Best day ever
Love the Washington house, great food for great price 👍🏻
Nice quint place came in for a show stayed the night at Inn
The food was excellent, from our salads to the entrees. We arrived to a very crowded pre-show Washington House, but settled in quickly at the bar for a cocktail. Upon being seated we enjoyed good service and dining experience. While we did have an issue with one of the entrees that came out, they promptly addressed it. We'd visit again.
A wonderful place for a special occasion meal. Our waiter suggested the perfect wine pairing for our meal. Will definitely be back again.
Great service and fabulous food! I have been going to this restaurant over 20 years and have never had a bad meal or experience.
Food was fantastic! Valentines weekend so very crowded. Lovely table by the windows. Very cozy but sadly cold as the temperature was frigid.
Great bar/tavern area I would love to sit in next visit!
It is a quaint restaurant. The food is delicious and there are wonderful choices. Also nice choices for wine by the glass. Great service!
Everything was excellent with the exception that we sat at the window and it was very cold at that location
My wife and I had an 8:45 PM reservation this past Valentine's Day. Overall, the experience was pleasant. We arrived at 8:20 and the Hostess told us we had to wait for the them to seat the 8:30 guest. My wife and I waited until 8:45 and no one came to get us. So, we returned to the hostess stand and were told that the tables were being prepared. As I looked around there were plenty of open tables. The vibe we got from the 2 hostesses was a cold as the frigid 19-degree temperature outside. The service was slow even though the restaurant did not seem busy. My soup was only warm and tasted like canned soup. My tea was also warm and had to ask for hot water. The portions were small and the time between servings was painful. My 14 oz NY Steak was well-done vs. Medium and the steak knife provide was more like a dull butter knife. We both drank our glasses of water and were never offered more. Other than that, we enjoyed each other’s company being it was our 33rd wedding anniversary.
Valentine’s Day Fixed menu, was amazing. The short ribs al always fantastic there.
Great four course Valentine Day dinner
Favorite locale - Bill & Elaine are great hosts. Excellent food / value.
Nice birthday dinner. Food was great, as usual. Quaint atmosphere. Dessert with a candle was complementarity and delicious!
