It’s awesome. You get the value of your money. The person who served our table has been exceptionally polite and helpful. Wonderful environment. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Exquisite food- burrata, bison tartare- duck confit and citrus panna cotta wonderful!
Service was good but the food took a long time to come out about 45 mins for starters to get to our table. Overall food was okay.
Ordered the bison tartare and it was incredible!! Highly recommend it
The food was just okay. Nothing was exceptionally good. We got the scallops, smoked salmon, and clam chowder for appetizers and cod, mushroom bolognese, lamb, and venison for mains. The desserts were the best part of the meal - the apple Mille-feuille and panna cotta.
Food was incredible. Our server Topher was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic evening
Great food, beautifully presented on the plate. Friendly and professional service. High quality all around.
Great evening and interesting, if rich, food. Definitely not nouvelle cuisine. All well prepared and served. Ambience good.
The food failed to impress, the wine has been on the unfortunate side and the overall experience has been meh.
We felt absolutely deceived through and through the entire dining experience. The wait staff was not only unfriendly but we were also left with not even water to drink for over half an hour, and when she finally got to us, she was impatient. The description on the booking site does not match the actual menu. Although we prepaid for the kids we did not receive a kids menu. The food was mediocre at best, and the options were limited. Everything was definitely priced way above actual value, and we are saying this as a family who usually rates quality over expense. There was no entertainment, and the seats were quite crowded such that we didn't get a full view of the windows, not even a glimpse of snow.
Pre-Christmas gathering. We had a great time there, love the taste of the meal and the presentation. Loved the cocktail and wine. Our waiter was attentive and professional.
Very nice location, good food but service too long
We went here for a family dinner of 4 people. Our total, with tip, came out to close to CAD 400, and this included 1 appetizer for the table, 1 drink per person, and 1 entree per person. Entrees here average at CAD 50 per item, and most of their menu is pescatarian. Naturally, at this price point, one would expect excellent quality in terms of ingredients used, as well as the cooking, sadly, neither of which were delivered. My husband ordered an entree which contained mussels, and right from the first bite he could tell that they were not fresh (point proven later that night when he suffered from an upset tummy due to this dinner). My mother ordered an appetizer that was named "Roasted Rootdown Beet Salad" and the beets that arrived on her plate were just...raw slices, not to mention, that the other elements on that dish were just as tasteless (salt, anyone?). I ordered the Confit Artic Char, and the shrimp in this dish was clearly overcooked. Overall, a very disappointing and unnecessarily expensive affair, and in my opinion, the only weak link in Fairmont Whistler's amazing roster of bars and restaurants. Don't waste your money here, eat the The Mallard or Portobello instead!
By far the best restaurant we tried in Whistler. Ten stars.
Food was great. Cooked to perfection, creative preparation, interesting flavours. Our server, Martin, was also great. He was very personable, genuinely cared about the quality of our experience.
A simple name can be deceiving. “Pork Chop” would appear to be an unadorned menu choice, but the well-balanced winter plate surprised my palate with a carnival of flavours. Wonderfully suited to a magical snowy night. So appreciated The Wildflower’s special touches and attentive service celebrating my milestone birthday. Thank you.
We had a birthday dinner for my lovely wife. Excellent service and atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and helpful. A very nice experience.
Lovely setting, especially the outdoors lights. Outstanding service. Mostly excellent food. Not enough lobster in the lobster dish for the price. Music too loud and Christmasy.
Fantastic experience with Adam as our head server. Beautiful décor, great cocktails and spectacular food.
Thank you Wildflower staffs!!
Martin excellent as waiter. All staff very nice. Really really loved the ambiance and decor. A night to remember!
As a sommelier I found the wine list to be 1) not very interesting 2) priced 4x the actual cost in the lower end.... which limits sales of bottles in my opinion....and the choice by the glass was not very interesting.
I choose my meals often by which wine I would like to have and as a result had the braised short ribs. The truffle potatoes and carrots were good but the short ribs and dark sauce was AWFUL ..... just fat that was already solidifying on my plate..... Their was no flavour to discribe it but ‘DARK’.
My partner had the pork chop and everything was good and interesting...
Wonderful and imaginative food. The cocktails were delicious and the bartender was a blast to watch. Staff was great with my kids. Food was over the top spectacular
Service was phenomenal, food very tasty, atmosphere beautiful by the window overlooking the Christmas tree lights!
James and I had a fantastic date night at Wildflower. There was a little mishap with James's main and Katie took action immediately and fixed it. I had lamb and it was just as delicious as the last time. The bartender that evening made the most fabulous pick me up I've ever tasted! We finished our evening with Katie's dessert recommendation. The panna cotta is the absolute best dessert on the menu.
The flavors we're bright and refreshing.
Thanks for looking after us Katie. We look forward to our next dining adventure at Wildflower.
James and I would also like to thank Topher for taking the time to to say hello - it was lovely to see you.
Absolutely worth the money. Each meal had a beautiful presentation and was delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in whistler, this restaurant won’t disappoint!
Everything was cooked properly, it just lacked seasoning and excitement. The menu reads much more exciting than it is. I found myself searching for most of the garnishes and flavors mentioned in the description of the dish. The menu reads like it is exciting, but in actuality it's bland and uninspired. It's a restaurant for old people with money.
Beautiful presentation and the taste doesn’t disappoint. Highly recommend
We had one the best dining experience at Wildflower Restaurant at Chateau Whistler.
Since it was the week of States’ thanksgiving holiday, we had the room at the grill all to Ourselves.
Loved the check-in service. (Make sure you have your vaccination cards ready.)
Our waiter Marcus was top notch, very personable and fun. He had great knowledge of the menu and made the dinner most enjoyable. He was very responsive to our needs and went above and beyond expectations. Food was excellent.
Wine list exceeded expectations.
Overall 5 star!
Outstanding food. Felt the waiter was too casual and chummy, he should have been more professional. He referred to us as girls and we are both Women and we run our own companies.
It was my husband’s birthday. Our server Amanda was very nice and friendly. I had requested a small cake for my husband’s birthday and they exactly followed the instructions what I had mentioned. The food was top notch too. I am glad to have chosen this restaurant for our special occasion. Thank you Wildflower team. We had an amazing time 😊
Wonderful meal and excellent service. Try the braised short rib with lobster tail. Delicious combination!
appetizers are really good but portion sizes a little small. Great selection of main courses! something for everyone. Cocktails a little bit on the high $$ side. Service is great and staff are knowledgable.
Fantastic! Get the braised short rib. Delicious!
Attended Cornucopia and attended Bubbles and Brunch. Attended 2 yrs ago and it was amazing. This year was no different with great variety of selections traditional breakfast , fresh omelets but also seafood, lamb, chicken. The desserts were fantastic and creative. A tad pricey but well worth the experience. Live music to boot made for a memorable experience
The food was extremely overpriced and taste not good as advertised. I had to send it back to the kitchen and ask for another dish which is not chewy and is tender. Learned the difference between bison and beef tartar though, as bison tartar they offer is not even close to beef tartar. The taste was completely different and poor. Oysters were very small even though the price was quite high. Duck was tender but the veggies were soaked with butter and almost floating in the butter. Overall experience is 2/10.
Venison undercooked, not medium rare, more blue. Wines outrageously priced, 300% markup for Compendium and other BC wines.
Great place to eat. Location is great and restaurant itself is very nice. Good spacing in between tables. Food is above average and very well done. Service is very good. Might have been a bit better but they might have been a bit short staffed. Pricing is ok, not great value but comparable to other $$$$ restaurants. As per usual all restaurants charge way too much for booze but we all know that so no surprise there.
Overall very nice!
A truly exquisite meal with phenomenal service. The custom cocktails were delicious. We had the halibut and the venison and both were fabulous.
Lovely setting and atmosphere for our celebration meal. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and our server was great. Would definitely return, and recommend to others.
Can’t believe we’re back in Whistler. It’s been a long while!
Coincidentally our friends were gonna be in the area as well and so we decided to have dinner all together. We hosted dinner for 12 persons from 4 families.
I am very happy we were accommodated when I made the reservations and they phoned us even to the date to assure us of our visit.
We ordered so much from appies to dessert and my friends were all satisfied with the Reataurant, the food and the service and of course we all enjoyed each others’ company.
