We arrived a bit early and could see there were lots of empty tables. Our reservation was for 7:15 The woman said they were all reserved and suggested we go to the bar in the hotel, and she would call us and could probably get us in early. We never got a call so went back at 7:15 and were seated. The whole time we were there, there were at least 3 empty tables which we could see. We ordered the Prix Fixe menu and I was more than satisfied with my appetizer (smoked salmon) and entree (pork). My husband ordered the shrimp
Appetizer and there only 3 shrimp. He said they were overcooked and I could see that they were very small. He was very disappointed so we ordered a second basket of bread to fill him up! He enjoyed his entree (Cod) though
, and it was a generous portion. We decided to take the desserts back to our room to enjoy the next day. We couldn’t believe it when we opened the take-away container to only find one dessert!!! Our waiter was very attentive and the atmosphere is lovely. We were a bit disappointed but will try again next time we’re in Whistler.

Lovely setting. Elegant yet casual. Staff attentive without hovering, they were very knowledgeable. Good was excellent. A place you could dress up for a special occasion but not feel out of place of you were just in nice jeans and sweater. Rare to find a restaurant today where the ambiance allows for a quiet and relaxed dinner. Also good for a that special romantic evening.

The food was amazing and also well priced.. the service was ok but extremely slow and the took 40min to get a drink.. hostess was MIA and nobody acknowledged us at the entrance even though we had a reservation.. we were about to leave when someone finally came over and asked us to take a seat and wait another 10min for the table to be ready.. essentially seated at 930 for a 9pm reservation..

Our waiter Paul made our experience 10/10. Two of us ordered the vegetarian thanksgiving meal which was overpriced and not inventive (available in the standard menu) but it was still delicious. The ambiance was very nice and they adhered to strict COVID protocols which made us feel comfortable.

After visiting our 3 favourite restaurants in Whistler over a 6 day stay, we chose to eat at Wildflower for our last dinner of this visit. We were reassured by the Chateau's careful attention to Covid protocol including taking our temperatures before entry. Tables were well spaced and staff were all masked. If we left our table, we needed to be masked.
The second positive was the $39 anniversary 3 course special wherein it was possible to choose any item on the regular menu ( a few at an additional fee) and also to have modifications for special dietary issues accommodated. The presentation was beautiful and the food outstanding. Service was attentive without being cloying. The half price wine menu was a nice touch which put the cost at only roughly twice the liquor outlet prices. The wine chosen was worth the price and complemented the meals beautifully.
The venue is tastefully decorated and quiet.
The only negative was the cost of self service parking and the fact that instructions are not clear as to how to navigate that system which resulted in an additional 2 minutes of parking costing an additional hour. An annoying end to an otherwise lovely evening.

Four of us had the three course menu for $39. There were many choices for each course, and all excellent. The food was wonderful, the service perfect, the ambiance romantic and the restaurant is lovely. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

The three course for $39 is an outstanding deal. Hazelnut and parsnip soup was very good. The beet salad was excellent. The sous-vide chicken with pumpkin pepperadelle (sp?) was excellent with very generous portions. And their signature cake - WOW! Wonderful and again a very generous portion.

Amazinggggg experience. Alex was our server and she was wonderful. Alex was exceptional service and very knowledgeable with great recommendations. It was my husband's birthday and she did a great job. The food was delicious. Highly recommend. Will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful night. (Excellent covid measurements in place and did not effect the dining experience at all).

Service was amazing and very Covid friendly. We started off with the smoked salmon, which I was very hesitant to try because I don’t like raw fish. Needless to say it was AMAZING, fresh, and my favourite dish. I ordered the eggplant confit as my main. It was piping hot in temperature (a huge thank you to the chef for that because I dislike warm/only somewhat hot food). It was delicious in flavour. I think it could have been a few dollars less for the dish since it was vegetarian and did not include seafood or meat (which warrants a higher price). My fiancé had the duck, he said it was very tasty. We ended our meal with the ice cream sundae. It was very big! Worth the price but the quality of the ice cream wasn’t as good. I’m not sure if the restaurant makes their own ice cream? But if not, it would be nice if this location could buy locally made ice cream such as from Earnest in Vancouver. The sundae ice cream lacked the smooth texture and was a bit too icy for my liking.
Ambiance of the restaurant was nice. Tables spaced out. Our host sat us by the window overlooking the garden. The music level was low and appropriate which I appreciated. Overall, I’d go back.

We did the 3 course Fall menu and it was excellent! The mushroom risotto and beef tartare were the best. The duck breast with crispy skin was amazing. I could eat those 3 dishes all the time. The ling cod was a bit bland, but they brought out more beurre blanc, which helped. I think originally the dish did not have that much beurre blanc. The chocolate hazelnut cake was huge and the honey & rosemary crème brûlée were divine. Beautiful atmosphere and great service.
