We really like The Wildflower and, even more, it's twin The Grill Room. I have one serious issue, though. The chairs, at our table at least, are too low. If one is tall, as I am, it is like sitting on a low stool as one's knees are much higher that one's seat. After two hours it is quite uncomfortable. One is also rather low to the table though that is less serious. Can I bring a cushion next time?

Waited a long time for service. Waitress seemed to forget our drinks and it came after the appy came. Vegetarian dish was lacklustre overall. This is the least impressive dinner of the four times we have been there.

Our waiter, Chris, had THE BEST recommendations for orders. I ate everything he suggested and it felt like I was being given suggestions from Merlin. He was a calm, sweet, and happy Wizard. I’m booking another reservation as soon as I can.

The whole dining experience was undermined by the incredibly poor service. It took us an hour to receive our cocktails, and close to two hours for our mains. For a restaurant charging these kinds of prices it was not at all worth the cost, and was a very bad value. We will not be going back any time soon.

We were charged for something we did not eat, and returned. Then our server Sabrina said the mgr was too busy to fix the charge and would call us to make it right. We have yet to hear from anyone! The server was tipped on total that included item that should have been removed. Sneaky! Chowder was very fishy, rockfish not very good, and lamb chops flavorless and raw. We have been staying at this Fairmont for years and always dine at all of the restaurants. Wildflower has gone downhill, clearly. Not worth the $$

Very good food - Started with a salad and scallops - very good with pork belly. For dinner we had salmon and bolegnese - needed some comfort food. Service was a little slower than I like, but very very attentive to detail. I would definitely recommend - overall a very good experience.

Quite a walk if you’re staying in Whistler village, allow 20 mins fast pace. But the lights and ambiance along the way was worth it. The restaurant was welcoming from the onset, taking our coats, ushering us to the most beautiful table next to the windows looking out to a winter wonderland. Soft piano music tinkled in the background and quickly cocktails and sparkling water was provided whilst we perused the very interesting menu with lots of out of area specialties. The food , once arrived, was beautifully presented and very tasty. The only exception being the Artisan salad which was too heavily dressed with balsamic vinegar. Apart from this, the meal and service could not be faulted!

The wildflower is a lovely setting away from the loud village. the food is amazing and my server was a pro. definitely visit this restaurant while in Whistler. I've been dining in Whistler for 32 years this place and its surrounding area are the best. Robert

Had a great stay at the Fairmont but unfortunately disappointed with the service and food quality at Wildflower. Firstly regarding the service, our family of four was standing at the entrance for at least 5 minutes until someone came to greet us. Noting the restaurant was pretty much empty and we were the only ones waiting to be seated, there were several staff just standing around talking amongst themselves near the entrance, clearly aware of our presence, but ignored us. Once we were finally seated, we were not provided with a drink and wine menu. I had to ask for the drink and wine menu multiple times and the server only provided the beer and cocktail list and did not provide the wine list. I had to ask again for the wine list. About 20-25 minutes had past until our drinks finally arrived. The duck breast was too salty, gamey tasting, and tough. The braised beef was just okay, had better at pubs We were looking forward to Wildflower given the many positive reviews, however, our experience was disappointing.

Both formal and inviting festive-type dinner where there was a lot of attention to detail put into the meals, restaurant ambience, and service by all of the restaurant hostess, waiters, waitresses, and chefs. The dinner meals are slightly higher ranged, but the experience here made the evening get together very lovely.

Nice ambiance, pretty good food selection and friendly staff. This quite large restaurant is situated in a the Faimount hotel. The food was overall very good however I would suggest to have more vegetarian entrees! Good portions. Overall good experience.

Amanda is one of the best waitresses that has ever served a meal for me. That includes a a lot of the US and Europe as well! She scores very high in every attribute you expect from a server. I have owned restaurants and she would have been a treasure to hire. You are lucky to have her!

We’ve been the the Wildflower many times over the past 20 years; and it has always been excellent. Last night was certainly an OFF night. The food was categorically terrible; and the kitchen took more than 2 hours for our entrees to hit the table. Two entrees were bad enough that they took them off our bill: which I really appreciated. One entree was swimming in too much sauce that was overly salted and had too much garlic. No other flavors had any chance of coming out. The other entree was both over cooked and undercooked- which was just dumbfounding. And, again, way too much salt. Our waiter, Martin was absolutely lovely and was so very kind. While this night at the Wildflower was extremely disappointing, we will probably go back in the future and give them another try. They have always been excellent so this OFF night was an outlier.

We've been coming here for years so this could just be a bad day but this was our worst experience at Wildflower. To start, service was very slow and inattentive, we didn't even know there were specials until after we ordered and overheard another waiter telling the table the specials. We finally placed our order and 40 minutes later the food arrived, too bad it wasn't worth the wait. Lamb came over cooked and pasta was undercooked. We sent back the pasta and they attempted to fix it but still came back undercooked. Like I said ,we've been coming here for years and it's usually been great, so it could have just been an off night, but it was veryyy off.
