The food we had was excellent. The menu was a bit limited and it was a little more expensive than I thought it would be from other reviews. I should have booked a bit bigger table instead of by the window as there was limited table space. Our server was excellent though and saw to our every need

We tried the B.C. octopus, the elk, the saffron pappardelle and the goat cheese cake with the 1933, woodford Lilly and apple martini cocktails. The flavours were big and bright. The squid was perfectly tender and the octopus was less desirable. The pappardelle was an explosion of flavours and a huge portion. The elk was perfectly cooked and the curried chickpeas were an excellent side - we could have done without the eggplant. The goat cheese cake was good but we would have been happy without it and we so much enjoyed the little chocolate barks they brought us with our bill. While the service was excellent, it was too formal/pretentious. We were there and excited for a culinary experience and it felt a little awkward and stiff. The biggest disappointment was the ambience of the room - or lack thereof. We would have appreciated softer lighting and some music. Overall, an excellent experience though. Will definitely back in the summer for a dinner where we can get the full mountain vistas!

The food and service were fantastic. But the location was less than optimal as it was in the middle of a campus cafeteria. This threw off the ambiance quite a bit. The food was excellent and the service was very very good though.

The food here was amazing but the location is not great and also the ambiance inside feels like a cafeteria. For fine dining it was quite a strange combination. That being said, everything we ordered was delicious so it just depends what’s important to you.

Our visit to the Three Ravens is generally annual event, coinciding with our attendance as presenters at AMSCAR. We visit with high expectations food and service and are always appropriately rewarded. This year, Katie represented the restaurant as we have come to expect. She was engaging without being intrusive, informative about menu and preparation suggestions, and generally a very pleasant young lady.

Interesting and complex dishes, some great, some not my thing. Par for the course for fine dining and worth the price. Little bit hard to find using google maps. A little unusual space in that it is a walled off but section of a dinning center.

I wasn’t please with the seat we were given considering that there were many other tables better located than the one we were given (right by the door). Also, I had the lamb rack special which was not an acceptable piece of meat. The lamb I was served was almost as much fat (non eatable) as it was meat. We had to ask for more bread and that didn’t seem to be well accepted, after that I didn’t ask for more bread because I didn’t feel comfortable. My espresso was terrible, it’s easy to serve a good espresso - buy a Nespresso machine if you can’t do better than that - and that’s something I would expect from a restaurant like this one. Overall, the restaurantes very nice, service was good, it has lot of potential but also a lot of things that it needs to improve. I hope this review helps them.

Great meal on Christmas day. They even sent us away with a Christmas cake. They may have ruined egg nog forever for me though, everything will be a disappointment after the delicious creamy nog they served us tonight. Will definitely be back

Overall, very underwhelming as a culinary experience. We found it to be overpriced for the quality and presentation of the food. My appetizer was without a doubt the worst plate of food that has ever been put in front of me. My old fashioned cocktail was a joke. Please train your bar staff that an old fashioned should be served with a single large ice cube, and not watered down. I asked for my steak medium, and it came out just a hint above blue rare. Luckily, I was served a new one promptly. On the good side.... the apple butter on the pork chop was to die for. But let’s all agree that the most memorable part of a dinner should never be the sauce of an entree.... please step up your game or stop marketing yourself as fine dinning.

We had the most magical time at the Three Ravens when we went there for our Christmas Eve Dinner. Lottie our waitress attend to us in the most charming way. We found wonderful choices of vegetarian dishes on the menu and were also offered to have one of the non-veggie dishes adapted to a vegetarian version. We enjoyed our night with sparkling wine, a nice dry Pinot Gris, beautiful salads, homemade tasteful butters with bread, a lovely risotto and one pasta dish with pumpkin as well as a delicious desert with a heavenly salted-caramel chocolate mousse. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful night!

I am a food snob. I love dynamic, bold, flavorful dishes and have eaten all around the world. Three Ravens is in our TOP 5! Each course we had was jam packed with explosive flavors. The bison tenderloin was buttery and unlike anything I’ve eaten. The pork chop was perfection. The plates are colorful and the sides were fresh. The have GF, DF, NF, VG options. Now let me tell you, Matthew, our waiter, was in a league of his own. Absolutely outstanding. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy the gem of an establishment. Oh AND they have the BEST view in Banff.

Great portions. It was hard to find, terrible parking. We thought it was going to be a dinning experience, the food Good but not for the price! We felt we were sitting in a university. It’s kind of blocked off from a buffet style restaurant the service was ok. But again not a shinning experience.

We went to Three Ravens for the first time before a concert. The food was excellent as was the service - very attentive and pleasant without overdoing it. Prices were higher than the average restaurant but completely justified. I’m sure the view would be magnificent when it’s not dark outside (e.g. lunch or summer). We can’t wait to go back.
