Tiara Restaurant - Queen's Landing Hotel
Great evening, beautiful view of the river, excellent service and delicious food. We will be back.
I have dined at Tiara many times in the past and found the quality of the food has dramatically declined and I will not return.
Still very good but a few years ago we had such an outstanding experience that the bar is very high.
Very pleased! This was the first night our first my husband and I since our son was born almost ten months ago. It was definitely the perfect place. The food was delicious! It was well plated and the flavours married really well :) the staff were also extremely courteous and attentive to the guests. Our server offered recommendations as well as explained some of the flavour profiles to ensure we were ordering what beat suited us. Great experience.
Been to Tiara many times. But the food was definitely not up to par. The bisque was terrible, smelled really bad. The Halibut was super greasy, and steak was absolutely burnt on the outside. It took a number of calls with no response to even to book it. If it wasn’t for open table ....
I will say the Deseret was great and the waiting staff was great as usual.
thanks for the good service and tasty food ,I will visit restaurant again and I will bring some friends
I believe this is the best restaurant in the area.
Was amazing! Ambience, staff and food amazings
Rudy provided exceptional service to our foursome during drinks and dinner. As my parents are quite old he was patient and took the time to ensure their full understanding. Given they don’t eat a lot he even divided their meal at the table for them to enjoy. A great night!
Our party of six thoroughly enjoyed their dinner at Tiara. We all had an amazing meal and the staff was attentive and professional.
Incredible service, and a fabulous meal- what else could you want?!
The Tiara Restaurant is a wonderful place to dine. The staff are consummate professionals, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Their attention to dietary requirements and allergies is outstanding. The menu is creative and ever evolving. The food is scrumptious. I especially appreciate the dessert/pastry chef Zoe Ellis. I am allergic to dairy products and it is the only restaurant that I can go to to get a decadent dessert. My partner has celiac disease and always has a couple of options for his desserts.
Great food, great wait staff !!! from the server to the waiter the the table cleaner to the person that brought the food out..fantastic !!!!
The food was very well prepared and presented. The portions were just the right size - not so large that we couldn't finish. The atmosphere was classy, but not stuffy. The chairs were comfortable. There were several fireplaces in the dining room. We were seated next to one of them. My 86-year-old mother, who always feels cold, had her back to the fireplace, and the staff obligingly turned up the heat, so she was comfortable. The ambient noise was very low; my group could engage in quiet conversation and hear each other easily. The next time I visit Niagara-on-the-Lake, I will definitely consider dining at Tiara again.
A lovely place to have breakfast. Great food and staff.
A wonderful place to dine. Great staff and outstanding servers.
Our server “Gerry” went out if his way to insure we enjoyed our Christmas Day brunch..Thanks again.
The Christmas brunch was superb. Delicious, loads of variety, and an extremely enjoyable experience altogether!
Tables were too close to each other, they were jammed together so close together it was like an obstacle course to get to the food stations. Also the food stations was in a separate room almost 5o feet away and you had to pass an entrance/exit with people coming in and out constantly
Good Selection of brunch offerings of high quality and excellent presentation
Amazing Christmas brunch buffet. Lots of variety. Not for dieters.
Beautiful restaurant with an amazing selection of brunch items.
Great Christmas brunch!
I have tried the Christmas brunch at all the vintage hotels over the years and this is was overall the best experience.
There is many many selection of food, and some impressive prime rib and roast ham for the occasion. Largest selection of antipasti I have ever seen, and a great spread of cheeses and dessert. We certainly did not have enough room to taste everything.
Service was impeccable and our server took care of our table of 6. Fresh juices, coffee and tea were included in our buffet price.
Although my mom expressed that it is a long walk to the buffet food area, we did get a great window view overlooking the yacht marina.
Do indicate if steps are of concern to your party, as there's a section with some steps.
This could be my favourite of the family of vintage restaurants at NOTL.
The service Arthur provided was excellent . Did not appreciate having to walk down the hall to another room to get our food . Then return and have to walk through the awaiting lineup to get back to our table. Somewhat disappointing! Restaurant should invest into new food warmers , broken lids are not what you expect at a good hotel.
It was a lovely quiet dinner with friends. We would definitely recommend it to others. Staff were wonderful.
Food was quite mediocre for the high end price. Service was good and the ambiance very nice.
Fabulous brunch, relaxing atmosphere, outstanding service. Our waiter "Arthur" was attentive, personable and very pleasant making for a very enjoyable experience.
Brunch is our yearly tradition with family. Best food and service.
We had a very lovely pre-theatre brunch prior to the afternoon show at the Shaw Festival. It was great quality food and selection, well maintained, the service was impeccable and nicely paced.
Rib over cooked
Service was better than average
The restaurant was lovely and the food/wine pairing was very nice. Our waiter knew the menu and the wines very well. Would highly recommend the restaurant with the wine pairing (which I split with my friend). The wine tasting at the cellar was not near as nice or informative.
Our dining experience at the Tiara restaurant was very enjoyable and a wonderful experience on a cold wintry day. They have heaters that are by the windows which help avoid any draft that may occur as one looks out during their dining. Both my husband and I have the cornish hen with a glass of Cabernet Franc. The chicken was so tender and certainly pleasing to our tastebuds. Definitely a return trip will be occurring.
Excellent in all aspects. Have eaten there on several occasions & have always been delighted. Food quality, preparation, service & ambience are first-rate. To my mind, it is the best dining experience in the Western New York & lower Ontario region.
Not a huge number of options on the menu and all on the extreme high end price wise, but taste of food and service was excellent.
Amazing good and service , as usual ! Thank you !
I had an amazing experience at Tiara Restaurant. Everyone went out of their way to make my graduation dinner special. Fabulous service and delicious food
I have been to the restaurant before , but never to the Brunch. The food was cold. I think they need to upgrade their heating devices at the buffet. The salmon was very fishy..... I am used to Nova ( Scotia) which has a fresher taste. The ambiance is excellent and the service was great.
Fabulicious was excellent. This was our first time dining at Queen’s Landing. The meal was fabulous. The only thing a little lacking were the mussels. Other than that a fabulous meal. Service was outstanding!!
I want to recommend Gerry for his great service. He went above and beyond and made our lunch fascinating. He engaged us with good conversations and delighted the kids. He gave us recommendations to come back for a seafood lovers lunch every Sunday. Aside from the good steaks we had at Tiara, Gerry’s attentive service make us want to come back for that Seafood lunch every Sunday.
Have eaten here several times over the last few years. Food is always of high quality and service is great!
Waitress was excellent but had to much to do, too many tables. Not enough support staff. Most restaurants of this caliber have support staff to deliver meals, refill water, etc. There were six of us and the meals did not come out at the same time, neither did the appetizers or the desert. Once the food arrived it was excellent. Hats off to the chef and the hardworking waitress. Management however needs to eat at a few of their competitors to see how a well run dining room works, I suggest Trius or The keg.
Servers basically ignored us for the first 20 minutes. No one brought menus or acquainted us with any specials. My wife was famished, having eaten too lightly at breakfast.
We had to request bread.
Pasta dish contained charred beef tips and a sauce, but all I could taste was too much Parmesan, which blotted out the other flavours.
My wife had a lamb shank, which was good, but dry, with only about a teaspoon of sauce on the plate.
All in all... not what one would expect from a restaurant at this level.
