Fantastic place to go with your love to have an intimate dinner.
I made the reservation due to the fact that on their website they advertised a vegan menu. When we showed up I was informed that the website might not be up to date and that there was no vegan menu available; however the server was great and went to speak with the chef, who was also very accommodating and managed to make a wonderful meal. I am thankful that the restaurant staff were so helpful and able to modify as needed. This is a very classic case of the upper management/hotel management not relaying information to their staff, and they should be very grateful to their staff providing wonderful customer service. The food was very good and the service was great; ambiance could've used a bit of work - napkins covering the silverware/plates, no decorative pieces on the tables, ketchup given in small packets, no vinegar. Honestly it didn't seem like they were prepared to open and the staff had to do their best, which they absolutely did.
For that special occasion this place is excellent. Our server, Rose, was very attentive and knowledgeable. Great view looking out onto the Niagara River.
We ate both dinner and breakfast the following morning of our stay at Queen's Landing. Tiara was a wonderful experience from our greeting at the door to the service we received from our servers. Would recommend to anyone looking for 5-star service. We will return one day.
35th anniversary. Staff, 10 out of 5 stars. Great food.
Had the Thanksgiving menu and all the items on it were excellent. Rose our server and the two other servers were friendly, courteous and very attentive.
Gerard our server was excellent and very attentive. We wanted to share the Caesar, pasta with shrimp and the beef ribs. Gerard suggested we have our meal in 3 courses on separate plates so we could share. What a wonderful and delicious meal we had on the patio overlooking the river. It was one of the best meals we have had on the patio all year. Have recommended to many friends already. Will definitely be back.
Always Awesome! They are incredible & Exceptional!
It would have been nice if we were told in advance of our reservation that the dining room was closed. We were directed to eat in the bar/lounge. The seats were awful and the room was dark!!!
Excellent spot to have a nice dinner. Service was great, the food was excellent. We ate two days in a row and tried different dishes and they were all top notch. Will definitely be coming back.
The service was very poor. We had four oor five different servers and we were never quite sure who was looking after us. One server brought the wrong order to the table. They didn't automatically fill the water glass. Not sure if it was an issue due to all new staff there caused by the pandemic. No reason to ge back there anytime soon.
Anniversary. Recognition by our server, Rose. She even brought a glass of champagne and took a picture. Lovely.
However, the “medallion of beef was so tough we had real trouble cutting it. Pork belly (fat) in phyllo was a flop too.
But we still plan to return at Christmas and hope there is a buffet. JM
Overall expérience was excellent. Would recommend to anyone.
Fantastic night out , pretty cool room with a neat view. Meal was spectacular as was the service.
Tiara is a beautiful restaurant. Husband had the lamb and I had the halibut. Both were very good. Would definitely go back.
Wow just wow. The food, the service, the ambiance all were spectacular. Absolutely made our weekend away. Will be back. Thanks you.
We had lunch on the restaurant patio. Lovely atmosphere and view. Service was quite good. Meal was disappointing. Caesar salad was soggy and tasteless, cornbread was also lacking in flavour and slightly stale, fish tacos were ok but overall nothing we ordered met our expectations. Too bad because there is so much potential to be amazing.
The waiter was exceptionally pleasant
Food was great too
They should add at least 1 vegetarian or vegan main dish
Food first class and delicious! Service was impeccable and the sommelier went above and beyond to help us find a nice bottle of wine from the cellar. Ambience is beautiful looking out over the Niagara River. We’ll be back!
Tiara Restaurant has definitely gone down hill over the years. Once it was one of the best restaurants in town but with bland food and high noise levels was a complete disappointment for our Anniversary dinner. As locals, before Covid, we frequented the Tiara restaurant and bar at least 4-5 times a year for lunches and dinner and can't believe the state of the place now.
I'll start with the food. For my meal I had the Foie Gras and the lamb and it was very good. However, my wife's meal of the tomato soup and halibut was a huge disappointment. She felt the soup was ok and the halibut was bland and tasteless.
As usual the service was good so no complaints there.
The overall noise level in the room at the beginning of the meal was acceptable however near the end, a large group of people entered with name tag stickers. They appeared to be part of a conference or something. They were placed at a number of tables at the back of the room and were permitted by the staff to yell and holler across the tables to each other. The noise level in the entire restaurant was similar to that of when a hockey team scores a goal. I couldn't tell if I was in a fine dining room or the taping of an episode of Ellen.
We glanced around the room looking at the other people not part of the group and could see from their faces that they were thinking the same thing as us. Someone needed to tell these people to be quiet but nobody seemed to do anything about it.
At any rate, we both left the Tiara dining room wondering what happened to such as classy romantic dining spot. This was our first time back since Covid and we likely won't return as there are a number of great alternatives in town.
Excellent food! Wife is celiac, meal was prepared to suit.
No problem. Chicken dinner and salad was delicious. Scallops and lobster tail cooked to perfection.
Service?, Kevin (our waiter) was the absolute best! There was a large group which were noisy, but we did not mind.
I was very disappointed with my selection of the haddock. It was OK, not very tasty and the veggies were overcooked. Very much not worth the price.
The peanut butter cheesecake was good.
Our server was quite good, so that saved the evening.
I would not return.
Excellent food. The scallop appetizer with mini pork belly Wellington was incredible, scallops were perfectly cooked and the pork belly was an excellent quality pork. shrimp linguini was one of the best pasta dishes I have had and the only pasta dish I have ever had where the pasta was piping hot. Just the right amount of sauce too. Lemon tart dessert was a perfect size and the lemon curd was well balanced especially with the exception blueberry compote.
Birthday ; the food and service was impeccable!
We had a fantastic visit to the Queens Landing for lunch. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable.
Outdoor patio was beautiful and our server Kali was very sweet. The price of the breakfast was just absurd though. $24 for a classic breakfast (bacon & eggs) and coffee is additional. Breakfast was $75 for 2 adults. Nothing justifies that, don’t care where in Canada you are, or what sort of view you offer.
Yes, it did come with an additional meat but the sausage wasn’t good at all, so if you eat here, take a double order of bacon. For that price, the coffee should be included. We could never justify returning. I have had nicer breakfasts at diners for $9.99, garnished with fruit.
Great food and service. The outdoor patio is lovely.
Excellent service and very good food…A little pricey.
Night before dinner was exceptional but last night the pasta dish with the shrimps was not that great
Fantastic place to dine. Food was excellent. Service was amazing.
Food was delicious, wait staff were friendly and helpful with selections. Absolutely stunning views.
Very good food and the service was great, enjoyed every minute of it
Celebrated my girlfriends 40th birthday yesterday! This place was the perfect choice...from the food to the service to the ambiance! loved every bit of it - totally gave her a memory to cherish :)
Nice patio, overlooking the marina. It's worth the 5 minutes drive (or you can walk for 15 minutes) from the busy downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Food was good. Good portion size too. I love the fish taco and the beet salad. Price was reasonable.
Seated at the back at the restaurant rather than close to the windows
Sommelier was excellent, the beet salad was amazing the lamb chop was awesome but the other lamb was tough.
Not one complaint. Delicious! Try the scallops. They were mind blowing. The sommelier was very informative and got us the best bottle of red we have ever had. Thank you so much for a great experience
Lovely restaurant, great ambiance wonderful service. Food was excellent. Wine was good and mainly from the region, but limited choice by the glass. We will definitely be going again.
The lamb was outstanding! We were apart of the Summer Lovin Package and it was incredible.
Appetizer- a wee amount of pate , half a pickled plum a teaspoon of some compote, 7 toasted rounds. A heaped teaspoon of chicken liver a sprinkle of greens $28.00.
Portions were tiny. Less than 1 carrot, less than half a potato , 4 string beans 3 lamb chops. $54.00.
