Tiara Restaurant - Queen's Landing Hotel
We had friends from out of town and they enjoyed the whole experience.
Great service form Kevin. Looked after all of our needs quickly.
We used open table to make a reservation because we could not reach the Tiara by phone. Therefore our service was via Rose instead of Rudy (whom we usually request) because we had no opportunity to specify. She proved to be just as reliable in guiding us through the excellent choices that the Tiara offers. My wife chose the lobster / pasta and I chose the lamb saddle. Preparation and presentation were great for both.
A beautiful restaurant with a view of Lake Ontario and the Niagara River. The food is excellent and the service is very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to another stay at this elegant hotel and enjoying another outstanding restaurant experience.
We celebrated our anniversary at Tiara and our server Jill was just amazing. She brought us a special dessert for our anniversary. Our steaks and lobster were over cooked but other than that great experience all around.
It was advertised on line as a thanksgiving meal. It wasn’t,t it was a Sunday brunch buffet. Very little turkey and zero feeling of thanksgiving.
15 year anniversary
Food was excellent! I had the lobster gnocchi, it was cooked to perfection. My husband and our neighbor friend had the 20oz. Ribeye, this was a very good size, almost too much. They said it was suburb! The somellier had some excellent suggestions for wine and was very personable. Sommelier and our waiter had excellent suggestions for wineries (Konzelman for lake view; Stratus for red wine) to try while we were in town and other restaurants (Angel Inn for late night cocktail) to try. Be prepared to spend some $$
Very empty on a Sat. night. Server knowledgeable but would vanish for long periods. Bread and appetizers were great, the rest of the food was not prepared well. Chicken very dry with no flavor in stuffing, ravioli and gnocchi over cooked, etc. In our group of 10 nobody thought it was good enough to visit again.
We had a very nice evening with great service and delicious food and wine.
gnocchi with lobster : My lobster was not sweet and was slightly overcooked. The lobster was very generous, though, in spite of the fact that the feature was "gnocchi". The delicate lobster & gnocchi dish was overpowered by the tomato sauce which was for my taste very acidic. The amuse bouche
was a very skimpy version of a common snack...cucumbers & cream cheese. The wine was sent back and the wine steward admitted that it was off. The special surprise for our 50th anniversary was a nicely decorated platter containing 2 desserts (which we paid for ourselves) and ordered by the man & woman who were not the couple. No attempt was made to identify which couple was celebrating. My husband's lamb trio plate was very good. Another guest who ordered the trout dish found it very skimpy and overcooked although the risotto was very good.
My husband and I had a memorable dinner here to celebrate my birthday. Rudy, our waiter, could not have been more attentive. From the rose petals on our table, to the wine recommendations, to the perfect descriptions of menu options, to the wonderful dessert with candles to blow out...it all added up to the perfect romantic dinner celebration. You can tell that the waitstaff here truly loves their jobs as they go the extra mile! This restaurant has a beautiful view outside and lovely decor inside. We will definitely come here again.
Great food, great ambience, great service. Beautiful location.
We were a party of 6 for dinner. The food, wine and service were all outstanding. The atmosphere was both welcoming and relaxing.
Excellent food and place, service was also very good.
excellent food beautifully prepared.
Service was second to none.
In all a very enjoyable experience
The waiter Rudy was exceptional and offerred some addional wine choices. The courses were served at a nice pace. His dessert choices were spot on with picking the right ones for each of us.
We really appreciated the shuttle back to our accommodations.
We would definitely consider coming back next year.
The food was excellent, we had lamb, scallops, salmon. The person who had the salmon said it was the best they had ever had. It was a bit pricey, but worth it. The waitress was top notch.
Excellent food and high quality choices. Wonderful, fresh seafood dishes and amazing soup and frittata. Our server, Gerry, went above and beyond in taking care of us. He is friendly and so accommodating; very knowledgeable and a wonderful conversationalist. He made the entire experience delightful!
My husband and I went for our anniversary, and everything was fantastic. We really enjoyed the quiet ambiance, and the food was delicious and sourced from local sources. The bread was fantastic, and baked in-house by a French pastry chef. All in all, it was a great spot for an anniversary dinner.
I enjoyed the food and the quiet atmosphere so we could talk. The service was excellent.
It was lovely. Thanks
Waitress very nice and pleasant. However they seems short staffed for the evening.
Food took too long to arrive, 40+min only ordered entree:
1. Pasta for my wife was dry
2. 20oz rib-eye was over cooked (order medium) dry, and burnt on one side and cool ie not hot
Complained and was given a re order which only took 5 min:
1. Pasta was the same dish no change
2. 20oz rib-eye looked like 10oz and again over cooked and dry.
All in all spoilt our 40th WA dinner evening.
Best thing about the food was the bread!
Very disappointed - Not big fan of buffet style unless it is a wide selection of quality items. This was not. Waste of time for such a long drive from Brampton.
Very nice restaurant. The water view was beautiful although we did not sit outside. Entrees were good; wait staff attentive.
Wed. breakfast omelet was greasy. Thurs. breakfast potatoes were dried out as well as the back bacon. The wait staff were excellent. Also, the housekeeping.
Came for the breakfast. Unfortunately the buffet was very dull. It took 3 staff to finally go get the chef to make us omlettes from the station. A lot of picked over food. Very disappointed. Was not told when booking that the brunch would have apparently been a better option.
Rose is a server who pays attention to details. We arrived early for our reservation, but the team was still able to accomodate us. There is a sommelier to assist those in need and all team members seemed to put their best effort forward.
Happy to get a reservation and impressed with view and table setting. Seemed short staffed and long time to take order, and long wait to get served. Ordered the lamb with fig sauce. Lamb over cooked and no fig sauce.
Rudy was our waiter and he was amazing. He really added to the wonderful experience and worked to create a great evening for me and my friend.
My friend is a foodie and she loved the grilled octopus.
The presentation and taste of the food was phenomenal! My husband had a lobster pasta and I had lamb. Both we among the best meals we've ever had and we travel a lot. We were in Niagara on the Lake for a theater trip and get-away for our anniversary,
I booked Tiana for dinner but when we arrived realized the connected Bacchus Lounge was the one that had the patio. We were directed to that side in order to use the patio. The view and environment out there was awesome and relaxing. We looked at the menus for both restaurants and chose the Bacchus menu. Unfortunately the food ( Souvalki chicken and Club sandwich weren't as appetising as we expected.) The only real concern I had, had to do with the drink and Bacchus menus which looked like they were on plain white paper. They had food stains and remnants all over them . My g/f who is very particular about cleanliness had a hard time even touching the menus. Notwithstanding that minor detail we had a great time out on the patio.
Food was spectacular, our server Rodney was engaging and attentive, dinner finished with a rose for the ladies.
The chef's tasting menu with wine pairings was incredible. Everything was so delicious I forgot to take pictures...The service was equally amazing. Seven courses were served within two hours to accommodate our curtain time.
If was the perfect fine dining experience to celebrate an anniversary! Our server, Rose, went abuse and beyond to ensure our celebration was special from start to finish!
We were looking forward to our dinner at Tiara. Unfortunately, it wasn't what we expected. The online menu didn't match the menu at the restaurant, which was disappointing. Our service was slow and our server was unfriendly. When we finally received our food, it was either overcooked, over salted, or over dressed. Even our cocktails were poor quality. We expected far poor, especially at Tiara's price point. We eat at lot of "OpenTable restaurants" and this is the first negative review I've ever written.
Great waterfront views while dining, the food was creative and delicious, the service from staff was very professional and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner or elegant celebrations., and can enjoy family or friends for any meal, with view of the marina with outdoor patio.
Buffet is not fancy - especially considering the price we paid. Didn’t expect a buffet style brunch here (if I knew, I would have booked somewhere else).
The Ambiance is excellent, the food is as well . The waitress's service was perfect.
Great Sunday Brunch with many choices. Service was fantastic and friendly. Food was fresh and tasty.
