It was bitter sweet to eat for the last time at this Phoenix landmark of a restaurant. The food was fantastic as always, even to the last night of operation. This place will be missed, but like the Phoenix it will rise from tbe ashes and be reborn across the street hopefully in January 2024. Long live Tomoso's. Thank you for 46 wonderful years of service to the valley.

Went for my birthday and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was outstanding; best Italian food ever. All the staff were wonderful. Will definitely will be going to their new location.

Ah, Tomassos, we will miss you! We were fortunate to grab a reservation on their next to last night before closing. The restaurant was packed with loyal guests, yet the service, food and ambiance all impeccable, as if we were the only guests in attendance. Fabulous in all ways, we will miss you. Thank you for great years.

Made a reservation and checked in but the host forgot about us and we were seated 20 minutes late (for an already late 8:15p rez). Server was very nice but we waited another 15 minutes for drinks/apps orders, ended up ordering everything at once. Just went to the bar for a drink refill because we rarely saw our server. When food did come server got 2 orders wrong. We were excited for the meal/experience but left disappointed after a long night of waiting

All in a great final experience at one of Phoenix’s long standing institutions. Kudos to Chef Joey and the family for a great weeklong celebration to their fathers Legacy! Class act. I’m a retired Food & Beverage professional that has worked in 8 different states and always want to preserve the experiences in the industry from the good old days. Something in todays society that is missing. And by the way the food and service was awesome in light of being sold out all week long. The Throw Back menu was great and payed homage to Tomasso. Incredible gesture to honor 1977 prices in this week long celebration. Can’t wait to try the new location across the street. Let’s not forget about old fashioned fine dining. And by the way those of us retired have the means to pay for the experience.

Been a long time Tomaso’s fan. Went to have our final meal before they close this iconic 1977 establishment. Unfortunately, it’s “throwback” week and the place was super busy…the food seemed mass produced. I guess I can understand packing the house during the last week, but I would of liked my “last meal” to be as memorable as all the previously delicious ones. At least the service was outstanding as usual.

The service was horrible. We ere served the wrong drink. We ordered the lasagna and it came before the salad. We had to track down wait staff to ask if a salad was included. We waited for a salad while our lasagna got cold. After we finished our salads they asked if they could reheat the lasagna. We waited again and then was served cold lasagna. So very disappointing I had heard it was a wonderful restaurant.

This is the week for Tomaso’s to be open so it was really busy. The servers did well considering a full house although we did wait a good 30 to get some wine. Prices are back to the 70’s this week which was awesome although we were charged $17 for each glass of “house” wine. 😏

Enjoyed the final visit to Tomaso’s before this location closes for good after a 46-year run. The place was absolutely packed, very noisy, staff handled the crowd very well given the overwhelming response to the final days’ ‘throwback’ menu and prices! Kind of the end of an era? The food was kinda like going to your Italian grandma’s place for dinner - classic Italian American fare. It was great 46 years ago and was yesterday as well.

Iconic restaurant and so glad we got to visit again shortly before they closed. Overall great experience, I gave them a 4 on food as the calamari was underdone. Very busy when we dined, which was to be expected. Nice and personable waiter David took care of us. Looking forward to dining in the new location when they open.

This was a wonderful mother's day lunch. Thank you for all the years and memories. We remember Chandler and N. Scottsdale and were so happy to come to the Phoenix location one last time. We are looking forward to trying the new place when it opens across the street and hope to be around a long time to experience your hospitality. It's sad to see the restaurant go after all these years but there are great things coming for you guys in the future!
