    Great service, decent enough atmosphere, but food was a bit uninspiring. Veal was chewy and lacked flavor, chicken on the salad looked like it was boiled, and the bruschetta was just meh. Could be a good spot, just needs a bit of a contemporary makeover in many regards.

    What a delightful afternoon meeting my college days roommates. The martinis were tasty and almost worth the $13 each, the food was tasty, and the waitress took good care of our table. It has been a couple of years since we have met and I hope we were not too rowdy as we engaged and laughed merrily.

    Ver crowded in vestibule, basically no standing area to wait for tables. Otherwise perfect time! Food was delicious! Penne areabiata was perfect. The marinara was not too spicy.

    portions were inadequate. The chicken with gnocchi and chicken looked and tasted like thick cut lucheon meat and the meal was cold. I wil lstay at Oak & Embers or Rosewood

    Food is delicious. Tried the Veal Oscar and my husband had the Veal Saltimbocca., both extremely flavorful but the veal was a little tough. The roasted beet salad was fantastic. Adrian (?) was a terrific waitress. The service when first entering was slow as we waited several minutes to be greeted by anyone at the hostess station to the point the bartender finally acknowledged us and went to get a hostess. Overall a great experience and dinner. Will be back.

    We enjoy this place. Ordered glass of wine, tomato basil soup,, veal Oscar, and small salad with grilled chicken. Total with tip $72.00. It was quiet when we arrived at 5:15 and got progressively louder, but never unbearable like some places.

    Another great experience at Tomato Grill. Alyssa is a wonderful server - always cheerful, knowledgeable and caring about my food allergies. Terrific food, great cocktails, wonderful wine and good value.

    Always enjoy the Tomato Grill but last night the food was average at best , noise level Was very loud. While the service was slower than usual the waitress was outstanding and handled things very professionally on what had to be a difficult night with that size crowd. Will be back and are hoping it was just one of those nights

    I love this restaurant. This time I got a different salad than the one I ordered, when I got the salad I ordered I had to pick off the cheese and steak from the salad I originally ordered. I asked for the dressing on the side and on both salads it was mixed in. I don’t care for a lot of dressing on my salad. My soup which was so good, was not hot. I think this was a first that my dinner was not what I’m use to.

    The food quality and price point are excellent. We had reservations and had to wait. Since there is almost no wait room we waited outside on a nearby park bench. We were told we would get a call when out table was ready. We checked in 20 min after our reservation time and was told they tried to call, no one answered so gave away our table. When we said we had a call log to show them in fact they didn’t call they backed off and said they had a table for us. It put a damper on the evening. The host desk operation and reservation process need work for sure. It is a busy and noisy restaurant with harried hostesses and almost no area to wait.

    Food has been excellent every time we have eaten at Tomato Grill. The wait stall is very friendly and knowledgeable. The only drawback is the noise level when the facility is full.

    My pasta and meatball was excellent also my husband’s veal. Our other two guest were disappointed in the chicken piccata which was a bit dry and the bowl of chili watery and sparse. First time since we have been going there that someone was dissatisfied.

    My sister and I met with cousins passing through on their way to Michigan. It was the perfect midday stop and showcased our cute First and Main downtown. Food was great and service polite and punctual to get these folks back in the road in a timely fashion.

    Reasonable restaurant for lunch but the quality has gone down. The soup was not hot and the salad had way too much dressing. The service was great and the restaurant was clean and inviting.

    Disappointed with 2 of our entrees: The penne with meat sauce was ground hamburger on the pasta and not even mixed in with the sauce. Would expect a meat sauce to have flavor from the meat. Also, the linguine with olive oil had a very bitter taste, probably from the olive oil. The eggplant entree was good, so were the peanut butter and pumpkin cheesecake desserts. Overall, just disappointed.
