I always visit the Scottsdale location when I am in town - I dine with my grandson. Food and service never disappoint. Our server was friendly and helped us with the menu on what to choose. Overall a great experience! See you the next time I am in town.

Our dinner was Amazing, everything came out hot & delicious, They also make some of the Best Mai Tais ever!! We had the goat cheese appetizer, and for the entree I had the macadamia nut crusted Halibut, it was so delicious. My husband had the ribs and he said they were also Amazing. Great service, one of our favorite restaurants.

Always love going to Tommy Bahama restaurants and Marlin bar. Drinks are great (especially coconut cloud martini), happy hour is wonderful and our server Jordan was amazing. Always look forward to eating there.

Had 7:45 reservation when we arrived steel drums were playing, outdoor atmosphere was great, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. However, what we didn't know was the kitchen closed at 9 PM. Shortly after arriving the band stopped at 8 PM. We ordered a cocktail first and then food around 8:30 after enjoying cocktail. Food arrived at 8:45 (very good) then all of sudden lights go up, chairs are being wiped down and put on top of tables and bar and people were asked to finish up ASAP. Well, it was 9 PM and game over most of my food still in front of us, would not take another drink order and we were made to feel uncomfortable, THE EMPLOYEES WANTED TO GO-NOW! No one was outwardly rude. I understand kitchen closing at 9 but not the entire restaurant in any city. The irony was we were there because I received a $50 promotion credit in mail and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived, but the overall experience was trashed with the "bums rush" at 9 PM. I would recommend to others with a warning.

I’ve eaten at Tommy’s many times but tonight was a train wreck. Went for Restaurant week. It started with our frozen Mai tai which came out unfrozen. Sorry, that’s as frozen as it gets we were told. Shrimp app was great but they brought our salad at the same time and forgot the dressing. The they brought entrees but never cleared the plates. Asked if we could move them ourselves. Food was not up to standard, chicken Marsala had a heavy cream sauce and was tasteless. I couldn’t eat it. Server was clearly overwhelmed and kitchen was a disaster. The manager did comp the entire meal but we left hungry.

We have been many to Tommy Bahama many times and have always had great experiences, in fact we were just there for mother’s day brunch and it was incredible. We had a 10:45 reservation and arrived at 10:40 and asked to be seated on the patio as it was a beautiful day. The hostess wanted to seat us inside because they didn’t have enough servers yet but we offered to wait until the servers showed up for their 11:00 shift and we were seated. But hey management, why not schedule staff to accommodate your diners on a Sunday? You were seating walk-ins on the patio but not people with reservations? Our server showed early which was great, took our drink order (my husband went up the upstairs bar to get his cocktail). There was only one bartender at the tiki bar making all the drinks for the patio and the people at the bar, our drinks took about 30 minutes. 2 of us ordered the 3 course brunch which included all you can eat fried rice and savory melon salad as the first course, entree as 2nd and bananas foster as 3rd/dessert. We had this for Mother’s Day and it was awesome. I was expecting the rice and salad to come out first, as it did that day, but no it came out with our entrees. She never asked if we wanted seconds (which i did, the rice is delicious), it was not hot. We all still had our plates in front of us eating, when all of a sudden the 3rd course of bananas foster showed up. I to said the guy bringing it “We’re not really ready for that” and he just walked away. All in all, although it was a bad dining experience, there was a great musician playing on the patio and we got to spend time with our adult kids which is priceless. We will go back.

We have not eaten here in some time. Food was excellent and the service was as well. Our server has that line between attentive and annoying figured out. She was always quick to notice when we needed something and absent when we didn’t. Her knowledge of the menu was excellent. I had the creole shrimp and crab pasta which has a bit of bite to it. It’s a great choice. I paired it with a side Caesar salad that was nothing to rave about and I would not order that again. The Caesar dressing is too watery and lacks any real flavor. My wife had coconut shrimp, watermelon salad, and the snapper. Snapper is not ordinarily on the menu but it was restaurant week and they were doing snapper like they do halibut on the regular menu. My wife said the shrimp was excellent as was the snapper. The watermelon salad was not that good and she wound skip that next time.

The food & ambience were great. I spent almost 40 years in the hospitality supply business and, we have dined in hundreds of restaurants. Our waiter, Annalise was perhaps the finest waiters we have ever encountered. Very friendly, despite working her 2nd shift of the day. She knew everything about the drink and food menu and how they were made. We noticed that every time she entered the room, she quickly glanced at all of her tables to see if anyone needed anything. She made it a point to stop by each table every time she came back. Very impressive.

Went for my fiancés birthday dinner. Had a reservation and they got us in 15 minutes early. The food was great, complimentary bread and butter. The only downside was a longer than expected wait time for the amount of customers inside. We will definitely go back again, however I think the wait time for food, the bill, etc could be improved a little.

We went for restaurant week and the food pairings we great. The service was good, our only issue was that there was a large party in the adjoining room and their noise overwhelmed the remainder of the restaurant. We kind of felt like we were at the back table of a wedding reception. Unfortunately they were seated after we had arrived if we had come later we would not of wanted to sit in upstairs. We much prefer the downstairs area of the restaurant.
