The revolving restaurant at the top of the Vancouver Lookout was a great place to dine out. The food was really delicious and the view across Vancouver was beautiful.
As a local Vancouverite, the Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant is not always top of mind. A great choice for a special occasion or with out of town guests. Great view, great service and a good meal.
Beautiful meal and experience! Loved everything about it❤️
It was amazing! It was our anniversary and we couldn’t have thought of a better place to be. Food was excellent, service was even better, and you just cannot beat the view!! We loved every minute of our meal at Top of Vancouver.
For our 7th anniversary, we had a really good time with my girlfriend. The food is delicious and the price worth the experience. We enjoyed the sunset up there. Unforgettable.
We had a wonderful table by the window. Our server was attentive and unobtrusive. This was a birthday celebration and our meal ended with a lovely complimentary slice of cake for the birthday girls. We did not feel rushed and thoroughly enjoyed the food and views.
It was a very enjoyable experience to to our granddaughter for her 16th Birthday. The views and service was outstanding that will make an unforgettable experience.
Great view, great food, service is good! I love it.
Best soup I had in my life. What a romantic place. Probably the best place in town to take your soulmate.
Made us wait 40 minutes for a table even though we were on time for our reservation. Tried to get drinks while we waited but also had to wait a long time for that and the bar area is sad.
Most of the food was so so. Service was slow and in some cases unresponsive. Lots of wasted potential. Having said this we did have an awesome family time. Go for the view but with low expectations for the food and service.
First time and most definitely not the last, good food, majestic view, great service
Well worth the cost for the food and the views.
We rang ahead to see if it was possible to visit to just have drinks, when we arrived the staff were lovely showed us to our table and we had a great view from our seats. When our server came to take our order and we said we'd just like drinks she was quite rude and said we could not sit at a window seat, we explained we had asked in advance but she told us we had to move. When we sat at the lounge area that doesn't have views we Waite a really long time to order and receive our drinks, which we could have drank and left from our other seat in that time. I understand the policy but was more disappointed in the way we were spoken too, beautiful restaurant and views though shame about our server!
First off, I would like to thank the company and it’s workers for the evening, as the view was amazing and the food was great. However, the service was quite subpar - to the hype of the quality of the restaurant. Over the years I’d seen pictures, and overheard stories of the restaurant being super classy, with expensive fine dining. Also, as a former keg employee of four plus years, i sort of had an expectation for service. My expectations were surprisingly not met, when my girlfriend and I weren’t greeted with the server or any drinks to start for over 25 minutes. We got sat with menus by the host, then proceeded to look around, trying to eye down a manager or are server. And patiently, as my girlfriend and I are both servers, we waited to see if the restaurant was just busy. But, to my disappointment we waited much longer than expected. This is unacceptable as my girlfriend and I were left wondering if anyone knew we were even in the place. And as this was my one year anniversary, I’d only hope we’d get decent service. Let alone worry about service at all. It wasn’t until I flagged down a near by porter, who I asked if he knew of any server or person that would be able to get us started. He grabbed a server shortly after and we managed to get some water. Anyways, the gentlemen was quite nice who served us, and made a bad situation better, by giving my girlfriend and I a free desert. Also recognizing are overly long wait.
The wait staff at the restaurant was amazing and so accommodating.
The food was superb!!!!
We had a great experience. Our waiter, Jason, was an awesome waiter and gave us a lot of information on cool places to visit!
Had afternoon tea there on Sat.
Fantastic place for resting a bit whist getting energy refilled.
I do enjoy the downtown view with decent food and service.
The food took so long to be ready. My food was so spicy, and it wasn’t even mention in the menue... The server didn’t even say sorry when I said that I didn’t know it’s this spicy , and he wanted to bring me another option which i had to wait anither 20 minutes... nothing special for my birthday except the view... in general I did pay for the view not the food...
Breathtaking view. So worth it! You definitely pay for the view, the food was alright.
Our server was great, he was patient and very helpful.
The food was amazing and everything we thought it would be.
A truly wonderful experience
LA MEJOR VISTA DE VANCOUVER. Y ES POSIBLE: A LA HORA DEL LUNCH. PRECIOS ACCESIBLES Y UNA COMIDA DE 100% TANTO EL LUGAR COMO LA COMIDA.
The waiter wasn’t attentive and kinda lazy
Good food, with the exception of the shrimp which was under cook, pale looking and mushy .
Cleanliness 1 star. The bathroom needs attending.
Desert was fabulous
I was blown away, by the view and service. Thank you!
Fantastic food and cocktails, and can not beat the view. Incredibly romantic, and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Will absolutely recommend!!
We visited here as treat at end of our holiday and it we had a beautiful view of the sunset over Vancouver. Service was excellent but I was slightly disappointed with my main course which was pasta with chicken and pesto but mainly consisted of vegetables with very little chicken but it did taste nice. Great place to go for a treat especially for the view.
We had the pleasure of enjoying dinner at the Top of Vancouver on Canada Day. We received the perfect table and were facing the waterfront when the firework show was going on. What an amazing view! Dinner was fabulous! We had the lobster bisque, beef carpaccio, steak with shrimp, and duck. Dessert was excellent as well. Service was great, the drinks delicious. What a wonderful dining experience. My husband and I were on vacation (and are American so didn’t know about Canada Day prior to arriving in Vancouver earlier in the day) and we talked about how our experience here was the highlight of our entire trip. Thank you so much for giving us the best Canada Day experience!!!
Should also include a vegetarian menu with milkshakes
Very nice atmosphere. Nice service.
Had high expectations and very pleased with all aspects of meal and service
Awesome venue of the city! Unreal view at sunset. Foood was nice but pricey.
Wonderful dinner night spent here. The lobster soup was Devine. Sometimes service is a little slow but overall top notch restaurant.
Thanks so much, will be recommending to all.
The view is outstanding but the food was nothing special. My lamb shanks were soaked in a spicy gravy, so everything, vegetables and all, tasted the same. The prices were horrendous, so I wouldn't recommend it to people not on an expense account.
Visiting Vancouver for two nights with my family. View was incredible. Service was good. Food was good albeit not the hottest meal I’ve had-but tasty. Drinks were wayyy overpriced for what you get. I ordered a martini and when I took the olives out I had barely 1/3 of the drink in the glass. For the price of it you should definitely get a “real” pour. I don’t blame the waiter- that’s a bartender issue.
Otherwise a good experience.
Magnificent view and scenery.... food and service was superb......it made the perfect mood for “the proposal”. We will be back to visit and rekindle memories.
Unbeatable view! Ideal venue to take guests visiting Vancouver! Food and Staff is great!
Beautiful view, great food, clean. Been here for my 50 Birthday. I received a call in the morning from the restaurant informing me that I will have a 18% gratuity because we are a group of 6. I informed them about my Birthday. They forgot.Service has been very poor for the price. Lady's restroom closed for the last 40 min. For the menu prices they should have trained employees.
Sunday brunch buffet offered a good selection of food choices. Server, Jason, was very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the views of Vancouver.
