Good food and the service Excellent
We were a party of four for my birthday party on Saturday. We wanted it to be a memorable experience, and we decided to visit your restaurant again. The service was pleasant and I appreciated the treat of dessert with the candle at the end! My partner got the lobster. It was disgusting and stunk. He ate a little bit thinking that it was ok, but when he mentioned it, we all agreed it was awful. The server took it away and came back to inform us that the kitchen also agreed it was not to perfection. It was taken off the bill, but my partner was left hungry and with a stomach ache. It was a celebratory and expensive meal that should have been perfect. Not too impressed, unfortunately :(
I ordered pasta which was over salted and upon asking I was told this is the nature of the dish .
It was a lovely birthday experience to enjoy a tasty meal while watching the beautiful scenery of Vancouver going by. It was very relaxing and I was able to view Vancouver as a whole.
Our waitress was very pleasant and polite.
It was a nice view of the city, and the ambiance was good. The server was great. The lobster was over priced and no where near a pound and a half. The seafood medley my daughter ordered was good, but I felt the menu items were a bit over priced as a whole.
This is an amazing place to eat with your loved ones or friends. Excellent view of all of Vancouver for as far as the eye can see!
Prices are expensive, yet is whats to be expected for a unique quality restaurant of this caliber.
My GF was floored when I took her here for her Bday!
Great restaurant with an amazing view, tasty food and great service.
A bit pricy but will be back again !
Wished the food was as good as the view for the money
Food is too expensive and is not good at all 50cad for a plate of salmon with no side is ridiculous, the view is awesome tho
Great meal and service, the view is amazing
Great view but the food was below average and overpriced
Beautiful experience that will stick with me for a long time. Thank you for your service.
It was such amazing night
good service, wish there was an option to choose the seat near the window even if we have to pay a little more.
Beautiful view of the city, elegant dishes. Would come again.
At first, we did not like the table assigned to us. It was in the second row from the view windows. The personnel did not want to change the location and had to get the intervention of the manager. Their arguments did not make any sense, but the manager solved it very fast.
The food was as great as the service. The place needs a better interior design, it is not attractive and looks outdated. The background music was hard to hear.
Waiter was quite rude about us moving one chair from the side to facing each other and made us move it back. Main dishes lacked flavour. Special note was entered about us celebrating our anniversary along with valentines and not even a mention was made of it. Waiter brought our bill in the middle of dessert. Not worth $150. Will not be coming back.
I didn’t like the tips included part. It was very confusing, when I called for reservations, they said there will be 18% tip automatically added in because it was Valentine’s Day. The menu though said Price listed included Service charge. When the bill came, the waiter said he forgot to press in the tip so it isn’t included in the bill yet. He said he said the same thing to many tables. Which I was like if that’s the case, why you said you ‘forgot’ to? I paid the tips but ended up asking the manager for clarification and he said at the end the waiter forgot to include on the bill. To me this wasn’t a pleasant experience, the menu shouldn’t show tips included in the first place.
View is outstanding, but the food quality does not really worth the price.
Had the lobster for lunch. Exceptional service, food and view. Not exactly cheap, but considering everything, incredible value and experience, far superior to anywhere else I can think of. Glad to see that this restaurant is now back at the top of the Vancouver restaurant scene.
Great food, lovely views and really lovely staff too.
View is really good but not the food
Fantastic view but main meal was served before we had finished our starters so we felt rushed all evening. Server apologised and instead of sending it back left it on the table. I had to leave the starter to start my main meal.
Yes for sure; if they were looking for a great meal and amazing ambience yes!! How to make it better; add some light entertainment; piano, string band etc.
The service was very good and the view was spectacular. Took my cousin and her kids visiting Asia and they loved it.
I've never had a dining experience leave so much to desire.
The table was dirty when we were seated. There was a huge chunk of old bread or something that the waiter cleared at the same time as the extra glassware. I decided to not say anything at the time.
Shortly following I noticed that my fork was filthy with old food baked on to all of the prongs. I showed our waiter who apologized and brought a new one immediately.
We ordered from the set menu. The first course came and my salad was amazing. The Caesar Salad dressing was tangy and garlicky. The lettuce was so fresh. I was thoroughly enjoying it UNTIL I got a mouthful of brown paper.
I have no idea how this got in to my meal but it was a huge chunk of what I think was paper towel or food wrapper.
At this point I am just doing my best to get through the meal and not ruin it for my date.
The waiter again apologized profusely and offered me a free drink. I don't drink much and was already at my limit so I politely declined. My partner asked to speak to the manager who came over and explained that because the salad was from the set menu they were unable to compensate it. He offered a free drink // or free dessert. Keep in mind we already had desserts coming with the set menu.
The dessert plate was gorgeously decorated and actually quite delicious, HOWEVER, we didn't leave feeling the experience met our expectations in terms of quality or service.
Our waiter was delightful however management should have handled the situation much better given how much of a fiasco our time there was.
Loved my experience and our server was wonderful!
Went here for DineOut only to find out that the festival was over. I felt misled because DiineOut menu was still on OpenTable when I made the reservation and when I asked the waiter, he said that were dates on menu. The dates were not on the menu and also they had updated the site after DineOut was over but didn’t remove the menu. We had dinner there nonetheless; the Duck Duo was delicious, the salmon was subpar and the steak was average. There was only one vegetarian entree option which was disappointing given that it’s Vancouver. The vegetarian pasta dish was also mediocre. The service wasn’t super friendly especially after the whole DineOut conversation.
The view is nice and it’s a cool experience but there are much better restaurants that I’d rather dine at in Vancouver.
Terrible food with terrible service. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Just the view is good nothing else to see. Might as well spend $18 to go on lookout rather than spending a lot on garbage
My overall experience at the top of Vancouver resteraunt was rather ok. The service was not the friendliest and my dining could have been a lot better. The bathrooms were nice but the stalls could use a little work and don't compare to the middle class resteraunt at all. The steak I ordered "rare" was not cooked as I asked and the vegetables on the side were not throughly cooked. The view of the city was definitely something worth going for but I do recommend eating some place else then going to the viewing deck only one floor below. I will not be attending this resteraunt again due to personal matters.
As the only swirl restaurant in Vancouver, it gives diners an unique dinning experience because diners can enjoy food, wine, and view at the same time! The food is tasty, servers are friendly, and they take very nice photos to record the beautiful moments! However, how come the dinning length is only 105 minutes instead of 120 minutes for three course meal?
It was a great experience and it was my first time
I would only recommend this place for the view
The food and service were pretty average. All the tables are squeezed extremely close to each other.
great service, great food, great views, cant wait to go back during day.
I've always wanted to go here growing up and i'm glad I was finally able to. The views and service were amazing--definitely a one of a kind experience. I visited with my partner during DineOut and was impressed by the options, but was disappointed by the mains. I had the BBQ Pork Ribs, and you could tell upon looking that it had been sitting for a while. It was warm, but very, very dry. My expectation for ribs is that it's moist, and comes off the bone with ease. It was dry to the point that the sauce did not even help. My partner enjoyed his Duck, but did mention that it didn't have much flavour to it. The appetizer and the dessert was delicious however. Our server (can't remember her name) provided a great experience. She almost forgot our food that we had packed to go, but luckily my partner remembered.
I would recommend this place to friends as a "must do" if you live in Vancouver, but I unfortunately cannot speak highly of the food.
The view is amazing. The food was delicious the service was perfect
Was awesome but pricey. The most amazing view the food is good.
We do an early valentines dinner when dine out Vancouver comes and this time we chose the revolving restaurant. View is spectacular and we lucked out on having such a clear night. Will be going back again 💜
