Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant
Took my daughter, server was wonderful and even brought her a little piece of cake with a bday candle. We had a great time.
I really liked how the food was plated and prepared with the view complimenting the enjoyment of the overall experience. Terry, who took care of us, was very easy to talk to, and made the experience more comfortable.
Came during the Dine Out Festival, and I have to say is that it was absolutely great experience. Though the price was higher compared to my usual dining, it was worth it. The scenic view of Vancouver helped set a nice tone for dinner.
Excellent food and service.
It is a great place to bring your friends and family coming from other countries or towns. I had a great time yesterday, enjoying the view, great food. I already recommended to one of my friend after my lunch yesterday.
Great family time, little pricy according with the brunch menu, worth for the view though.
Was an espectacular experience, the food was amazing and the most beautiful view. We really had a great time.
I guess there’s new management since the service we got this visit was spectacular and highly professional and friendly waiters/waitresses. A year ago the staffs were immature and chefs were noisy. Great change and is worth the money. On top of everything the food and the view of Vancouver is outstanding. Great job!
This was the worst experience of my life. I went here for my birthday and what a mistake because the entire evening was ruined by the horrible food, below adverse service, and ghetto decor. For a restaurant that is serving food at these prices I expected A LOT more! The lobster I ordered was over cooked and all shell with little to know meat and it was paired with some sort of tiny rice dish that had actually no taste. It was like eating plain oatmeal if you made it and let it sit on the counter for 5 hours. When this was brought to the attention of the waiter and the staff they did absolutely nothing other than offer us a free dessert which they would not even let us take to go. This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to and would never recommend this even to my worst enemy. Truly dreadful.
All you are really paying for is a view and at this price the resturant does not match up. Washroom, ghetto. Food, mediocre. Service, below average.
I was ok. Food was good but the value isn’t there. The view is spectacular service is ok but not what you would expect for the price of the meal.
Excellent view, great food! I deftly recommend to a friend, family for a special day to celebrating the place this Resturant.
It was pretty good, we were early for our reservation. they were very accommodating
Very enjoyable evening, Great food!!!! Very tasty. Sites from the revolving restaurant are spectacular!
Spectacular views of Vancouver at night with relaxing ambience in a revolving restaurant. Food options are awesome. I am looking forward next visit during a sunny day.
Did the New Year's Day brunch and it was totally not worth it. The service wasn't great and drinks weren't included. For $65, you would think that Mimosas or Caesars would be included. Will not be back.
The view ... makes it all worth it. I booked for lunch on January 1st. I was surprised when we arrived to learn that the only option was to have the full buffet for lunch. I had no idea the price (I know I could have asked, but we were there, committed and wanted to enjoy the view). The buffet was plentiful and reasonably good with plenty of options for everyone. The view - of course, amazing and the revolving part made it all the more interesting and wonderful. The price - $65 per person plus tax and tip - was ultimately a surprise for the buffet. I'm glad that we did it but it did sting the pocket book.
Lugar excelente para visitar, la vista inigualable y un buen servicio.
The Top of Vancouver has a varied menu (appetizers, entree, dessert and beverage). Each person in our party of four ordered something different and all raved about the meal! Delicious food with great presentation. Add to that the most beautiful view of the city, inlet, mountains and beyond makes the Top of Vancouver one of my favorite restaurants.
I am born and raised in Vancouver, I have spent the last 15 years between NYC and LA. I took my American girlfriend to this restaurant to show her the views and have a bite to eat. The views were spectacular, the furnitings are dated and old, think late 80’s decor, as in not updated since then. The food tasted old and stale. I am glad we got to see the views, the food was terrible. My opinion, go up for a coffee, spend your $100-$200 somewhere else after.
Awesome views and great service. Large variety of food choices
The view was absolutely breathtaking, to say the least. Our server was one of the best I have ever encountered. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed in the food. While the choices were plentiful the food was at best, lukewarm.
I certainly do not mind spending money on dining out, however paying $129.00 for lukewarm food is outrageous.
Unfortunily, the left was out of service and needed me with my friends to queue a little bit of time.
Not feel comfortable! It must improve at once!
Food was great and views were spectacular. However, the experience was tainted by one elevator being out and needing to take the freight elevator to the restaurant instead. We were bringing our relatives from out of town and wanted them to experience the feeling of the elevator emerging from the building and seeing the glass walls for the first time. Instead, we were asked to take the shaky/old freight elevator to the top which ruined the experience for us. On the way down, we were crowded into the back due to people boarding from the observatory and also did not get to view the glass walls of the elevator. Quite disappointing for the elevator to be down.
Poor customer service. I was served by a French waiter (could be the head waiter). Very Lazy guy with very poor communication skills.
Food and ambiance was good.
The food was salty, other than that the environment was good.
A must do for every visitor to Vancouver.
The view, obviously, cannot be beat. There are no vegan options whatsoever on the menu (what century is this?), and possibly only a couple of vegetarian options (salad). The place was empty as it was lunch during the Holidays, still the service was totally blasé. I was there with my (very civilized) 7 year-old and the hostess almost barked at us "you know there's no kids' menu right?" There might have been a nicer way to write that, especially since in the reservation notes I took the trouble of writing it was an annual tradition for us to go there on her birthday. Nobody seems to have read that, since there was no candle on her cake.
The only reason I return is because my daughter wants to for her birthday. Otherwise I'd find a place with better food options and more caring service.
deasapointed, excellent vue, prices too expansive, meat passable
The view is beautiful, our server was great but he was definitely the exception but the food was poor.
DEMOTED to seats with no view after initially being seated at a good spot. Overpriced food. Negligent service.
1) DEMOTING US TO CRAPPIER SEATS: I reserved a table ahead of time and was initially seated by the window with a good view. My friends and I ordered a bottle of wine, appetizers, and dessert. But because we didn't order main courses (we had eaten dinner beforehand), the server made us get up and physically move ourselves and stuff to a crappier section by the bar that did NOT "revolve" and had NO view -- AFTER we had already been seated! It was so embarrassing and humiliating! It was like being demoted to the "section of shame" for people who were presumed to be "cheapening out", and we received looks of judgment from other servers and hostesses there (even though I could have afforded the main course if I wanted it). The server said we all needed to order a main course EACH to get good views, but that was NOT stated clearly on the website when I made a reservation, and I've had friends who'd gone to this restaurant for dessert, drinks and appetizers only, without having a similar experience of being "demoted" to the section with no views. It was so rude. Even worse was that the restaurant was NOT BUSY, so it would have been no problem for us to keep the original table we had been seated at!
2) OVERPRICED FOOD: The quality of the appetizer and dessert was NOT that GREAT, certainly not for the price -- so much that we went and got more dessert elsewhere because it did not suffice.
3) NEGLIGENT SERVICE: It was very difficult to get the attention of our server without waving our hands frantically (again, the restaurant was NOT busy), so that was also very annoying and it made us look more obnoxious than we intended to be.
It was a fantastic stay over there ... we enjoy the diner and the fantastic view
Service was excellent 👌 Food was great but washroom needs refresh.
It was a great experience for the ambience, view and food. We would definitely come back in the summer.
Great views. Everything else ugh
Extraodinarias vistas. Muy buena cocina.
Trying to compare the tourist version of this tower with the Calgary tower. The chairs were very uncomfortable but the view amazing. The variety of food limited as you needed to order an entree when we were fully hungry. Just not a lot of variety. But it was a lovely evening and our server was fabulous
It was amazing. Nice view and pretty good meal. Especialy, tuna salad was one of best we ate here. Thank you for made great memory.
Excelente cena y ambiente
I love this place! Always my favorite place to celebrate!!
