Food was creative and fun. We had two different types of tacos, calimari and octopus. Tacos were great. Calimari sauce was tasty but heavy, and octopus was sent back. Service was GREAT but we asked for dishes to be brought out throughout the meal and all 4 appeared at the same time. Server was SO kind and accommodating. It was my wifes birthday and they had a nice card on the table for her that someone had drawn by hand. Great personal touch. La Bomba dessert was a great experience and very tasty.

Service was very kind, but shockingly slow and unorganized given the caliber of restaurant. We came with kids and even though it was a slow night, we were clearly seated in the less prime/no view section. All of that said, the food was wonderful and the “la bomba” dessert was fun for all. While I would have understood on a busy night, I do wish they had more faith in family dining (2 of 3 kids under 10 ordered from the adult menu) - our kids were well-behaved and it would have been nice to have a view of the sunset/TPC.

Not a great experience. We felt ignored by the sever. My wife’s order was not what was ordered and the service team knew it and didn’t remedy the situation but rather made excuses.

Staff very friendly, we ordered from the sushi menu and we loved the choices. This is a very casual restaurant, views of golf course, the food was amazing, our waitress was well informed of all menu items. Highly recommend.

We were seated 15 min after our res time. Our first drink arrived 1/2 hour after that. A hostess snippily told us to ask the server about our drinks. Food was delicious! One guest never received the cappuccino she ordered.

Views were spectacular even though obscured by remaining Phoenix Open grandstands. Wait staff were amazing. Very attentive. Food was excellent. La Bomba dessert was an experience in and of itself. It’s pricey but well worth it even just once.

Went for lunch on Valentine’s day to celebrate. Ordered a sushi roll and a torta to share and they were both amazing! We also ordered la bomba for dessert and it lived up all the hype and recommendations.

Ordered a martini - was asked if I wanted it dirty - OK. Was charged $5.00 extra just for a splash of olive juice to be put into drink. Never had this happen before. Not good business. Noise level was over the top - not comfortable. Food was ok. Had sushi which could have been fresher. Waiters dressed in worn jeans and extremely casual. Not a good look. No tablecloths on table. Thought this was an upscale restaurant due to the prices, but sadly disappointed. Will not return.

We enjoyed Toro two days in a row. The first for lunch, and the next for dinner. Both experiences were great! The food is fresh, and interesting and full of flavor. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Food was pretty good, but overpriced for the quantity. The best part was the dessert, la bomba! The server had zero personality and wasn’t very attentive. She didn’t even acknowledge that it was my birthday, when we made it very clear when making the reservation. A simple “Happy Birthday” would’ve been a nice gesture. Servers/hostess can definitely be trained better on customer service.

This was the perfect place for lunch! Not only is the property beautiful but the have the restaurant setup to look out onto the course. The restaurants decor gave it such a fun environment. Not only was the menu vast so were the drinks. The service was amazing and everything came out quick. I recommend this to everyone! Will be going back for sure!

A date with our grand daughter and she had a wonderful time! She totally enjoyed La Bomba! Seems like it’s gonna be our traditional treat with her. Our server BRENT made it even more special! So gracious and very VERY attentive! Our experience overall was just DIVINE!! Oh did I mention the FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL??!!!

Our dinner started out wonderful with amazing sunset and appetizers. Then our waiter was no where to be found and when he did finally appear he had an attitude when we said we had yet to order our entrees. The manager politely apologized and asked us to return and give them another try. He did comp our appetizers which we offered to pay for. May give it another try next time we are back in Scottsdale but would appreciate a different waiter.

Food was sublime. Hostesses were terrible. We had a 8pm reservation and we’re not seated until 820 despite many open tables. We were a party of 4 with two kids (12 and 15). We were seated on a half empty patio directly next to a party of three that were loud, inebriated and cussing. Service was ok. Server was quiet and hard to hear, didn’t engage very much and wasn’t very quick on recommendations or knowledgeable about menu items. Empty plates were not cleared quickly, water was not refilled. Second round of cocktails was not offered.
