We were early and had the place to ourselves. The waiters and management were very attentive and engaging and brought out the courses fresh, hot and in a timely manner. We browsed the extensive wine menu and checked out the great patio in the back. We’ll definitely be going back! More

We have walked past regularly but never had the time to try the restaurant. It will be on our list for regular special occasions. It is very good value. The duck breast was wonderful. The beers interesting and the service was great. More

Enjoyed this spot. Have been meaning to go FOREVER but made a point recently. A good spot for purists because you're not gonna find a lot of fusion rolls here. Selection is good and fish is fresh and quality. We loved the sashimi chef's choice appitizer that we did it again at the end of the meal! Cocktails are reminiscent of the early 90's so highly recommend selecting from saki, beer or wine if they have one you enjoy. We were disappointed that one of the things we REALLY wanted to try was sold out, but we still enjoyed ourselves. Beyond the sashimi we ordered twice, I loved the salmon sushi pizza (basic and delicious - didn't rely on sauce or kewpie to make it delicious), avocado salad (dressing was lovely and liked the crisp lettuce and avocado as a little refresher), and blue fin fatty tuna. The spicy scallop was good but not the best I've had. Service was okay... when we asked what could replace the sushi we wanted (they were out), we we told, "Get unagi," which may have been delicious, but not anything akin to the raw delight we were seeking - totally different. We had a table in the dining room which we liked. Private booths looked cool, though. And had 2 larger dining rooms in the back that looked amazing for large groups. One room was occupied and they were super loud, but we didn't mind as the space was large and the sound diffused adequately. I'd go again though. Fresh and yummy. More
