   My boyfriend and I decided to have a nice dinner on our last night and this place did not disappoint. When we first sat down, the waiter gave us complementary champagne. We order the focaccia with the prosciutto and burrata with truffle. Absolutely delicious! I got the cacio and pepe and my boyfriend got the seafood spaghetti. Both were amazing. I would recommend this place for a nice affordable Italian meal in the heart of Brickell Center.

   While we really enjoyed our dinner, there are a few caveats: My husband hates olives. The bread ($4) came with olive butter. Could we have regular butter too? "No. We don't have any" How is that even remotely possible in a restaurant? Our server spent a vast majority of time telling his life's story to a neighboring table. We needed to flag them down for the check. The patio is lovely, our "mains" were very good (lasagna and Cacio e Pepe.) The salad was good, with very little lettuce but with watercress as fennel fronds. We passed on dessert.

   I read most of the reviews before going and tried to forget about some of them because the good seemed to outweigh the bad. The service was very good. There was a charge for the bread..which is fine..but the bread was just ..meh! Only one other couple was dining inside. The gnats were a thing and found myself swatting a good amount. The pasta is made in-house and was okay. I had cacio é- pepe..(which was heavily peppered) and my husband had one of the specials which was a burnt flour, pork dish... However, our meals.. tasted identical. Unfortunately, it's a no for me..or..us!

    At the beginning of the evening everything went smooth and the appetizers where very good. The restaurant is very pretty and service was fine. Everything went downhill very rapidly as we were waiting for the main courses, they took about 50 minutes to arrived. Before that we asked the waitress why ours dishes were taking so long? Her response “because we have a lot of people at the patio tables” so that means that the tables inside are not as an important than the one outside? Not response. Food arrived and was cold, super salty, uncooked basically imposible to eat (at this point we didn’t reorder, no food). We called the manager and after many apologies she decided to removed from the check the four dishes that we couldn’t eat ( we were 6 at the table). She offered desserts (we just got two) then we received the check and they included 20% service charge, again we called the manager and she proceeded to tell us that she couldn’t changed that because the 20% charge is divided between everyone in the restaurant. We told her that we will leave a tip but we didn’t agree with the 20% after all what happened. She then started to get very rude and never willing to change the charge. The restaurant ruined a very special occasion that we were celebrating. It is extremely sad to encounter a situation like this one in a normally nice restaurant. BTW I been in the restaurant few times and it is going downhill.

    The food was incredible. Pici Senesi was quite good along with our other selections. The charcuterie board was authentic Italian and done well. Wine list was diverse and developed. Cocktails weee excellent too. Our server was very attentive and very kind. We really enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend!

    There were a lot of gnats, small flies inside the restaurant. Server didn't seem to care. Makes one wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Pasta dishes were ok. Not fabulous. Overall not worth the cost. There are much better Italian restaurants in Miami.

    Food was excellent. Service was lacking. Not a lot of patrons for lunch so wait staff spent a lot of time standing around talking to each other... making it impossible to get their attention without having to get up. Slightly overpriced in my opinion.

    Had a very nice dinner on the patio last night. We got the nostra caprese to start which was an absolutely delicious take on traditional caprese. For entrees, we both got the Maccheroni al Sugo Toscano which was just delicious. Pasta portions are not filling enough unless you get an appetizer. All around, great restaurant for a mid level price range.

    Spoke with a hostess letting her know that I would arrive later than my scheduled reservation time, and she told me she would hold my table for me until 8:30pm (my res was for 7pm). I thought that was strange because usually a restaurant doesn’t hold a table for an hour and thirty minutes. However, I took her word for it. I arrive with my date and find out the hostess gave away our table. When I reminded her about the phone call, she stated she NEVER said that and in fact stated that I was the one saying I would come in at 8:30pm. I’m not sure if there was a language barrier because she couldn’t speak English or Spanish, but it made the situation much more stressful. She stated we could have our dinner at the bar (not intimate with noise) so we left. My date and I went to Dolores down the street and had a fabulous time. I won’t be trying Toscano Divino.

    The AC was broken and they were trying their best to make it seem like it wasnt an issue. When they called during the day to make sure we were going they asked if i wanted indoor or outdoor and neglected to tell me the AC was broken. Would have chosen outside. The octopus was good, the service was good the lobster risotto was too watery. Overall not worth the $331 we spent.

    We selected this based on a local recommendation. We enjoyed the patio setting and the food was good. The piped on music is quite loud and that combined with street noise made it hard to talk. The service was “ok” - some language barrier.
