    Had an amazing meal with fantastic service! This will definitely be a top of our list dinner restaurant. Loved everything. We had Effie (not sure how to spell it) as our server and she was amazing! She was knowledgeable, always on point and hilarious to boot. 11/10 experience

    Too fast paced for us, noisy and cavernous, we felt rushed, lots of nervous energy around us, perhaps because we were seated dead centre among the madness. Its great if you don't prefer a more intimate, slow paced quiet setting

    We chose Trattoria Timone to celebrate my sister-in-laws' 80th birthday because it was half way between her brother and sister-in-law coming from Toronto and her sister and myself coming from Hamilton. Our 7PM reservation was honoured promptly. The restaurant almost at full capacity at that time and the noise level was significant. While we received water quickly, it was close to 15 minutes before our server came to take our drink order and a further 10 minutes before our drinks arrived and our food order taken. This slow pace continued the entire evening and we were there for 2 1/2 hours. This was surprising for a restaurant that posts 'time limits' based on the number of diners. Of course, the pace was preferable to being 'rushed out the door' as we have experienced in other establishments. The food, however, was outstanding from the veal chop special, the Steak Fritz to the Lobster ravioli, minestrone soup and caesar salad, with 'just the right amount of dressing'.

    This is my favourite restaurant. The food, service, value, wait staff and ambience are all exceptional. The beet and pear salad was outstanding. Shrimp and angel hair pasta was served piping hot and shrimp were seasoned and cooked to perfection. We topped off the meal with homemade gelato. A wonderful dining experience.

    The service from the server was not upto TT standards; I had to ask for bread while the server asked all other customers- maybe because I am an American? I did leave her a tip; but she was not really caring for our table; her English was hard to understand as well.

    We have been coming here for many years now. For the past 3 - 4 visits the service and food was subpar, however, last night's dinner was back to the normal, which is outsatnding! Glad everything is back to normal and you will our "go to place" once again. Outstanding service, food and everything!

    The only thing I think should be corrected is the tip % that is on the credit card terminal. I calculated what 20% should be on our bill and the credit card terminal included 20% on the tax as well. I never tip on the tax. So there you go. Other than that, everything was awesome!

    We booked our valentines dinner a few weeks before the date and the website did not include a separate menu. We received a call to confirm our reservation and when I questioned if there was a valentines menu the caller advised there was not. Received an open table reminder with the option to view the website menu. So on Feb 14 we sat down for our dinner and we’re handed a valentines menu, no mussels (as noted on the website) and the prices were substantially more as well, for example cioppino on their website $39 and the valentines menu $52. And the escargot were served cold with a warm layer of cheese. Very disappointed that they were not up front with the menu and price.
