   Fresh produce, creative combinations (try the foie gras for first course and the scallop w pork belly for second course), delicate and savoury flavours, absolutely flawless! Love the usage of rhubarb this season, and for third course, the sweetness of the parsnips was a great companion to the short ribs. Shout out to Greg, love the mullet and the service!

    Treadwell never fails to impress. We’ve visited a number of times and they still surprise us with beautifully plated dishes that bring unique flavors to familiar ingredients. And the service was topnotch as usual too.

    This was our second visit to Treadwell and we were afraid that dinner would not be as good as our first experience but, if anything, it was even better. The fresh, flavourful food was unimaginably wonderful and service was perfect. Looking forward to a third visit!

    Treadwell's is my go-to lunch and dinner spot in NOTL and has been for years. I've never been disappointed with the service or food. James has unerringly steered me to some outstanding local wines. Eat on the covered patio (with heaters and blankets when necessary), or inside for a more intimate encounter. At the open kitchen counter one can sit and watch the chef make your meal, and chat about what's in it if you like. Altogether, a very pleasant experience

    Our Anniversary dinner was quite lovely and inviting. The chef came to the table, gave detailed instructions regarding certain dishes (which we greatly appreciated), and addressed a few concerns we had. Our servers and sommelier were knowledgeable and helpful with decisions. We had a night to remember, and I am grateful for the experience. Oh... and the food was delicious!

    Thank you for a wonderful lunch! Four adults with a reservation. We dined on the patio and the service and food was outstanding. We had the Fish & Chips and the Risotto (short rib/mushroom). DELICIOUS. So flavourful. Then Sticky Toffee Pudding, Creme Brulee. Both perfection. Some lovely cocktails too. Would highly recommend.

    Treadwell deserves MORE than 5 stars, all around. We had reservations for 3 people on Mother’s Day. I called as early as possible to see if we could push our reso back or come in at a slightly later time because I knew we were going to be late but was told it might be tight. An hour later, the host called back just to followup and let us know that they would love to accommodate us a later time if we would be open to sitting at the kitchen bar. When we finally got there (literally an hour after our initial reservation) everyone was so warm, welcoming, accommodating and didn’t once make us feel bad for being so late to our reservation. Our server, Briar, was the absolute best and made our lunch even more memorable. She was so personable, capable and took the time to really make a perfect dining experience even better!!! Being able to watch the chefs put together our meals was amazing. The open kitchen was immaculate, organized and so efficient. Great to watch the in-house culinary artists at work!! And the food — OMG the food was to die for. Lunch was a 3-course prix fixe menu with five selections for the first two courses and a choice of three desserts. Each of us got something different for each course, and each dish was equally artful, flavourful and satisfying. The portion sizes were generous and no one left hungry. Noteworthy dishes were the lobster eggs benny (my sister got it) and the beef short rib with vanilla turnip purée. So much lobster piled high atop the benny with generous sides. And my dish was a perfect marriage of sweet, umami, crips veg and the most perfectly tender and moist beef I have ever had. Thank you Treadwell for making our Mother’s Day celebration with our mama so special!!!!!!

    First of all, I think that I had selected bar seating, not realizing they were higher bar stools, which my parents would have had trouble sitting at. The restaurant was so lovely and accommodating and put us at a table on the patio. Service and food were top notch, Yvonne was amazing!! Had the Kew Pinot Menuier, which was fab and all three courses were delish. They gave my mother a lavender plant for Mother’s Day, which was a very nice touch. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

    Outstanding service impeccably, tasty food, well presented in a completely brilliant atmosphere. The sommelier Bill is absolutely brilliant and has made amazing recommendations for the prefix menu that we ate. The wait staff and the hostesses are super friendly. The chefs open kitchen is immaculate, and great pride is taken into keeping it clean, sanitary and running smoothly. I would recommend anybody who is a foodie, who loves good wine, loves great conversation and wants a relaxing , but upscale atmosphere to have a wonderful weekend in Niagara on the lake, this is a must try restaurant.

    Very cute restaurant, cool atmosphere. Good idea to offer option to sit at the bar to be able to watch the food preparation. Loved the four course menu with the wine pairing.     Excellent service and incredible meal. We have been to a lot of "finer" dining spots around the world and Treadwell definitely is up there with the best! All of the food was delicious, well presented with knowledgeable service. The portion sizes were shockingly big for a set menu style dining experience. Our server Briar, was incredibly friendly and attentive and truly made the experience! Would definitely recommend and we will be back!
