   My wife and I love Tria for any occasion. Food, service, ambiance are always above average. Can't say enough GOOD about Tria. We have eaten here for Birthdays, Anniversarys, date night, Grooms dinner and have always been more than satisfied. Monday, wednesday, friday or saturday....it's always top notch. Thank You for another great dining experience for our Anniversay. Once again everything was A+

   Waitress was very knowledgeable about menu. Great food, came as ordered and at the correct temperature. Our waitress brought drinks, food, and desert at a very comfortable pace.

   Tired menu, my steak is always raw and not cooked medium rare, potatoes always cold, and the wedge salad is an overpriced $10 joke. This time I barely got a 1/4 head lettuce and a few sprinklings of something I guess is bacon.

   In general our meals were very good. The steaks were done perfectly. The only issue I have with the food was my dessert. My chocolate ganache cake was the driest cake I have ever had...and I've eaten a lot of cake in my 60+ years! I probably should have rejected it but my 'MN Nice' kicked in! Fortunately, it was ala mode which made it somewhat tolerable. The other issue was our server...he wasn't really 'bad'...he just didn't seem to care about us as customers. With that being said, we will probably give Tria another opportunity to impress us this summer.

   Wonderful Restaurant Week experience. We ordered wild mushroom soup, which we both loved and will definitely have again, for our first course. I had grilled salmon for my main and it was amazing. The kind of dish that you crave and that causes you to return to a restaurant. Seriously, it was that good. My husband ordered filet Oscar, and he loved it. I had a taste and the filet was melt in your mouth tender. Really delicious. For dessert we both had a pear bread pudding that was so delicious with nice chunks of pear. Our service was stellar and very professional. We recommend Tria and have it on our radar now for special occasion meals.

   Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service, mostly good food. Intentionally went early to avoid crowds and noise. Worked well! Celebrated my wife's birthday here this year as a treat. Walleye fillet tasteless and a rather small portion; filet mignon beyond excellent. Wife wished there had been more of it! Pot pie good size for large eater; good taste and flakey crust. Tasty dessert pudding a lovely ending. Moved to the bar for a night cap and quiet conversation. One server, attempting to be friendly, I'm certain, has a much-too-loud voice for the small area. Also, twice too pushy when nearly demanding my wife hurry and finish her $$$ drink so she would order another. Not funny. This attitude was a first for us there. Overall, a memorable evening celebrating her birthday! Thank you.

    Hands down we will be returning to this restaurant! We went for restaurant week and they did not disappoint. From the starter through to the dessert they knocked our socks off! They have exceptional food and service to match. The timing of the various courses was perfect and the drinks delicious! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to others!

    This was my first time visiting, so I need to give this another visit. We were sat in a small side room, at a folding card table. The room was comfortable, but halfway through our meal, one waitress went to the thermostat and CRANKED the heat at the request of one guest seated right inside the door. Other people were sitting comfortably, some even in short sleeves. It was certainly not chilly. But it quickly become unbearably warm. The crab cake appetizer was decent. I've had better quality crab, but this certainly wasn't bad. The scallop appetizer was severely undercooked. I am well aware that scallops should be rare/raw in the center. This was pretty much raw throughout to the point that it stretched in "strings" as I tried to cut it. My wife ordered a pork chop with an apple compote topping. I thought it was delicious, but the apple compote was ICE cold (not even room temp). Very strange on top of a perfectly cooked pork chop. I ordered a steak with potatoes and cipollini onions. I ordered it mainly because I LOVE cipollinis and don't see them often on a menu. I got a perfectly cooked steak with cocktail onions and baby potatoes. Neither my wife nor I received anything but a butter knife to cut the pork chop and the steak. (The steak was pre-sliced, but the slices were rather large.) Cutting meat with a butter knife on a folding card table made a mess of the drinks. The apple crisp was unique. I loved the spices, but my wife wasn't crazy about it. Either way, it was well made. The creme brûlée was tasty, but one side had a VERY thick layer of caramelized sugar that I couldn't crack with the spoon. The other side had no sugar at all. Lastly, the service was excellent. The waitress was perfect in every way. Attentive, asked before removing anything from the table, really timed her "visits" perfectly. I couldn't ask for anything better in service. All in all, I need to go back. Maybe the kitchen was off their game the night I went.

    Our waitress, Nadine, was excellent & explained meal options well. We had a very comfortable pace for our Valentine dinner. We had Steak Diane that was very tender & all the meal was exemplary! Enjoyed sitting a couple feet from the wood burning fireplace so stayed nice & toasty warm!! :)

    Once again, we had a lovely dinner at. Tria. The drinks, the wine, every meal ordered was perfection. Our waiter took such great care of us and checked in jot ensure we had everything that we needed. We are so happy to have such an excellent restaurant in the area, we love Tria and highly recommend to everyone.

    My boyfriend and I went to Tria as a Christmas date. Although the crowd was mainly older, we didn’t feel too out of place. The ambience was pleasant and romantic. The food offerings were also a nice surprise (picky eaters should be able to find something they like). We went primarily because of the seafood options (boyfriend got the crab cakes and mentioned that they were very good). Overall, we both loved our experience and wouldn’t mind returning in the summer to try dining outside on their patio.

    It’s been a few years since we’d been to Tria, and a kid free movie date provided us with an excellent opportunity. They have really stepped up the menu! Better ingredients, more sophisticated tastes... they really raised their game! Had we known, we would have probably just made the date the entire meal! What a gem in the northeast burbs!     The ambiance was very nice. Dim lite, quiet. The food was spectacular. We even requested a couple of menu modifications and that was no problem. Our server was prompt, friendly and efficient. It was our anniversary so she added desert ant champagne as well. Will definitely return.
