Wonderfull experience as the chef made a special entree for my husband. The filet was cooked to perfection.
Was good but pricey. Wouldnt go back for dinner. Breakfast buffet is outstanding though
Always one of our favorites. Wonderful setting, impeccable service and great menu.
Nice ambiance. Stylish. Great food. A little pricey.
We enjoyed our meal and experience so much a year ago on our anniversary that we had to return again this year. We were not disappointed. The menu is great. The combination of flavors and textures in each dish is spot on. We will be back again and would frequent Tria if we lived in the area. It was more than worth the 40-minute drive from our hotel.
Great food, great experience. Cocktails slightly overpriced
I highly recommend Tria for a business meeting/dinner. The food is always great as is the service.
Server seemed to be new and unsure but support servers made up for it. Manger was very attentive , courteous, accommodating.
The service was spectacular and the food surpassed my expectations. TRIA made for a memorable night for myself and my family. We will be back.
Great location, great food and service. A relaxed but classy environment
We went to Tria on a Friday evening. The restaurant was almost deserted. Only 3 or 4 other tables were occupied. We had a reservation - did not need one. On a Friday night where it is difficult to get a table at most of the Detroit area's good restaurants, Tria had almost no customers. We asked the host about the deserted dining room. The answer was they have business Monday through Thursday when the hotel has guests. Apparently, there is little if any local following or support for the establishment on weekends.
Our food was good, well prepared and served hot. With so few customers, our dinners were clearly cooked to order. We particularly enjoyed the Tria salad and the whitefish. We ordered a bottle of rose wine with dinner. It was not chilled when opened and served. We had to request an ice bucket for the bottle. We were past the salad course and beginning our entrees before the wine was at a drinkable temperature. Very disappointing and a signal that the restaurant is ill prepared for basic drink service.
Our waiter was very good and tried to make things right but the cards were stacked against him. There are so many great restaurants throughout the Detroit area, there would be no reason we would re-visit Tria.
A really great surprise for a “hotel” restaurant. Food was very good with wait service by Paul excellent! Having the menu on iPads was an added bonus. After dining here for the first time I can see why many of the reviews were from patrons who are repeat customers from the area (vs. staying at the hotel). Will certainly return!
Always consistent. Jill was a great server. Michael was very helpful with wine selection. Lamb special was executed perfectly.
A lovely setting but it wasn’t clear this was a hotel restaurant. Incredible food and wine with great service. We loved the ability to view all food on the iPad
Very good service!!! Excellent Food and Cocktails!!!
Normally fantastic..ribs were aweful...a larger group next to us was very loud and annoying...other then that others food was real good.
Paul was OUTSTANDING!!!! The Hotel was AMAZING and the Restaurant was very good!!!! The lamb tacos were delicious! Would definitely go again! Must try!
Tria has been our go-to place for many years. The food is consistently excellent and healthy. There is a great selection of wines and cheeses. We like to eat light, but if you want a full course dinner this is not your place. The service is always good. Waitstaff are not overly intrusive and never try to get you to order things you don’t request. We love the high top tables outside. So we keep going back!
Our server, Paul, was AMAZING! Despite the food being great, he would definitely be a reason to come back! And, even though it was the end of the night, he served us with energy, laughs, and great recommendations! Tria, Paul needs a promotion!!!
Great food and service. I would def. recommend this place to friends and family.
We had pretty high hopes based on the reviews and the creative menu. Pass on this. Not good. So sad.
Met with friends I haven’t seen in awhile. Everything was wonderful, but it did feel like the server was rushing us a bit. Especially since the restaurant wasn’t full.
I enjoyed my visit very much. The staff was attentive from seating through dessert, particularly my server, Rick. I appreciated his suggestions and care. The food was delicious and well worth the value. I would come back again when I am in the area.
I took my mother here for Mother's Day and it was a first for both of us. We started with the crab and lobster cakes, which were amazing! I had just returned from Florida, where I thought I had just enjoyed the best crab cakes ever, but arrived home only to find a rival for the ones in Florida. They were wonderful. Both my mother and I ordered specials of the day and we both enjoyed them. My mother had a duck and fish duo, which was an interesting pairing. And I had the braised lamb shank. We finished with the fudge cake, which is adorned my caramel popcorn....so decadent and really delicious. Our server was knowledgeable. A bit pretentious, but somehow it worked for him! He was very confident in Tria's food and he was right to be confident as far as I could tell from one visit! Also, the Henry has so much beautiful art throughout the hotel that you can have a really delightful walk after your meal and it's like being in an art gallery. We REALLY enjoyed that as well! It was like a bonus for dining there. We will definitely be back.
The restaurant is an attractive feature of the Henry Hotel. Styling us up-to-date and pleasant.
Our server, Paul, was great. He was attentive to our needs and was a pleasant part of our dining experience.
Food was very good. My duck and fish duo from the daily specials was great. The duck was perfectly prepared and the fish was tender and flaky. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the bone-in filet while my son loved the stake and frites.
Looking forward to our next visit!!
Great food with good service. Always a good location for a business meal.
Great time. Great food. Waiter (Paul) was very sociable and provided great suggestions for town. Highly recommend if in town.
Always a great place to celebrate
Staff are very attentive and willing to do what is necessary for a pleasant experience
We went to Tria to celebrate our anniversary. Our server surprised us with a dessert plate with anniversary wishes. Wonderful extra touch.
Excellent food and service. Not as expensive as I would have thought.
This is usually one of my favorite places. But today they dropped the ball. One meal was wonderful and the other was cooked wrong. We said something and they took it back to recook it. The good meal was finished by many minutes before the other meal was delivered. We were offered a dessert for the inconvenience. An underwhelming offer. If there was a problem with my room would they just offer me more pillow mints. I would expect more for a 4-5 star establishment. We will return. But I’m not happy.
Great food. Wonderful staff. You won't be disappointed.
Another great meal at Tria! Friday night was busier than I've seen it before, but the service was quick and considerate as always. The food is well worth the price.
Nice service, decent food, restaurant ora was nice conservative with a contemporary Flare. Floors were atrocious though.
Good service, great food, would definitely try again.
We were staying at The Henry Autograph Collection Hotel, so decided to dine here again. The food was very good, all be it, fairly expensive. The service was attentive. They have a decent wine list. We also went here for the breakfast buffet the next morning which was great. If you order an omelet you don't have to stand and wait, they give you a number and when it is ready they bring it to your table. We didn't order one, but saw this and thought it was a great idea. What we did eat was very good and so was our service. We would return on another stay at The Henry, especially for the brunch.
What an amazing experience. The only reason I’m giving this place a four star rating is because I had to wait for the hostess for about a minute because no one was at the host stand. And furthermore my server Rick, didn’t seem too interested in being our server, but he did deliver good service.
The food was fresh hot and very delicious and the food runner made small talk with me and I like that kid. I would have rather had him be my server.
My husband and I have been to Tria several times and every time we have had great experience. Few days ago we went back to Tria to celebrate our anniversary. Paul, our waiter was amazing. He was very personable, attentive and made great suggestions. Every single staff we ran across made us feel welcomed. As always, food was perfect, too.
Very loud. Server was so busy not his fault but had too many tables
