    As the restaurant got busier the noise level got worse and worse to the point where we couldn’t stay for dessert and coffee because we couldn’t hear each other speak. Such a shame. The food and service were excellent. Perhaps some padding on the ceiling would help?

    We go to this restaurant very often and always have a wonderful gentleman serve us and there are never any issues. Last night he, unfortunately, was not working and the staff was not nearly as good. Not as knowledgeable, attentive or responsive. The gentleman who does the clearing and brings out the food is much to aggressive. He is almost taking your plate away as you finish the last bite and when he brought out or appetizers, he took away our menus even though we had not place the order for the main course. We had to ask for them back after the appetizers and they were not offered to us. Seemed a bit out of character for our normal experience here.

    We were 10mins late and they gave our table away - maybe this is on us, but had to wait until 7pm to be seated. Food was good and service seemed to be good at the beginnning, but then it took a long tim for the bill to come and ultimately I had to go up and ask for it.

    Very good food. Would have been five stars but a few problems with service. We ordered the Burrata Salad special but a Caprese salad was given to us. We ordered scotch after dinner and the pour seemed very small about 1/3 of a shot each. Both of these issues were quickly resolved by the manager (the correct salad was brought to us and the drinks were topped up to a reasonable amount.

    We have been coming to this cozy North Toronto restaurant for many years. The food is always very good as is the service. Last night the place was packed but service was still great and food came out in good time. This place is a neighbourhood gem.

    Make this a go to restaurant. Pizza is second to none. The daily and seasonal specials are always great and keep the menu interesting. The veal trio is to die for and the pasta selections great. Fantastic wine cellar.

    Anthony was our server and has been our server everytime we have been there. First of all, HE IS AMAZING! You could not ask for a more knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful person! I wish he could be cloned. Secondly, this is probably my tenth time at Trio and I have never been disappointed. When we go, we don't even normally look at the manu as the chef's specials are always out of this world - our experience last night was no excpetion. I have fell in love with this place over the last couple of years and it is the go to when we want a nice meal and a night out! Can't wait for my next dinner there.
