Excellent experience! We had the tasting menu with wine pairings. We loved the meals and the focus on local ingredients; the wine enhanced the experience.
Very good food, good wine, good fun!!
Birthday fun doing sip and sizzle ending with dinner at Trius . Greer day
Food took too long everyone was starving and explanation for the tasting menu not as detailed as our prior visit. We were half an hr early and could not be seated outside. We were told to come back. The resto was empty this seems unreasonable.
Food was excellent as usual, interesting menu choices and fantastic service. FYI the "Hearts of Romaine" salad is actually a very large bowl of salad that can serve 4 people as a starter. The 32 dollar price tag is not worth it. Was expecting something different and with a better presentation. Will definitely go back.
nice place and great food, service was perfect as well
Trius has excellent potential, especially their commitment to sourcing locally grown food items. The food is well prepared, tasty and presented nicely, though our waiting time was on the long side for a set menu (we visited for Sunday brunch). The problem they need to fix is that their wait staff doesn't appear to be trained, which is immediately visible for a restaurant at this price point. For example, our waiter helpfully suggested that there was also a children's menu, which wasn't described on the printed menu. But when half the children's menu wasn't delivered (they had run out of salad), he wasn't able to suggest something else in its place (maybe some random vegetables?). Overall, the restaurant is decent and the ambiance/setting is nice. They need to work on the service part if they want to deliver a truly excellent experience.
Great food, service and fabulous place. Loved it!
Very nice Victoria Day Long Weekend Family Sunday Brunch! Service was warm and attentive. Food was exquisite and care fully put together. Ambience was excellent overlooking the vineyards...we will be back!
What a lovely experience ..had a great time. had the testers menu. Liked everything but the noodle dish. Wines were excellent. I would definitely return. Special night.
We celebrated a birthday on our visit and we were pleasantly surprised with a complementary glass of champagne. Our meal was very, very good and as you expect from a winery restaurant, our wine was excellent. The service was professional and went above and beyond to make our evening most enjoyable. Overall a memorable experience.
Very nice experience overall - beautiful atmosphere and friendly service
The food was tasty and presented well but very fussy and small portions. One or two bites does not constitute a side.
The food and service was exceptional. The caper dish was buttery and delicious. The lamb was cook as requested. Overall, a great dining experience.
The restaurant is in a beautiful location, wonderful views. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was wonderful. What more is there?
Comfortable seating in armchairs
Big windows for viewing
Attention to service
Very nice willing to chat servers
Accommodated GF and vegan and peanut allergy
Unique dishes with great flavor
On point. Will go back again. Great wine. Great presentation. Everything tasted good. No complaints. The cocktail in my picture is a repeat for people with a sweet tooth. The soup and sandwich was so good, the aroma of truffle right when you bite into the sandwich was heavenly. The Apple pie was Delish, the strawberry pound cake desert was so light and tasty. Enough said. Just do you won’t regret it.
My salad and fish fish was delicious . We had pasta and meat too and it was all great . We all enjoyed our meals and the chocolate and caramel dessert was incredible . We all said we would go back
The service was outstanding- timely, knowledgeable, observant, unobtrusive. We shared the Hero's plate which was sufficient for three and had an excellent variety - pâtés, cured meats, including duck, lovely goat's cheese with a honey topping and more. The accompanying bread was delicious and adequate for the party. We all three had the wedge salad and enjoyed the very fresh dill dressing. I would have liked a little more dressing....but it was enough for the others. The trifle was light, fresh and wonderfully layered, with a topping of young rhubarb soaked in ice wine. The coffee was very good and piping hot which we all appreciated. We had the brut and found it very refreshing. Michaela, our server, was excellent. I will certainly return. The occasion was a birthday party for a friend and we were treated wonderfully.
We enjoyed the date night special which was a 3 course meal for 2 with a bottle of wine for $99. Given the setting on a vineyard, the great quality of the food and service this was a good deal.
The couples dinner was fantastic. Good menu choices and wine selections were offered and enjoyed immensely.
Great rose & charcuterie board. Servers were amazing.
Great food, great service from Ashley and we always enjoy date night!
Amazing. We loved our anniversary dinner. We chose the al la carte menu - linguine followed by the fish and the dessert was by that stage unnecessary but extraordinary. Wines we chose by the glass and ended up in the wine shop after dinner purchasing the Showcase Chardonnay and sparkling wine to take home with us. Staff are very down to earth, efficient, friendly and knowledgable about the wines and menu. Great stuff!
Food was creatively presented and the flavours were amazing. Michaela provided top notch service and was extremely well spoken and knowledgeable in her food and wine pairing descriptions. Will definitely return to the Trius Winery Restaurant.
Awesome experience as usual.
Excellent dinner. Server was terrific. She was knowledgeable and attentive. Delicious courses—also nicely plated. Their wines were quite good as well. Plan to go back to visit winery.
Best food and service in wine country. Patio with view of vineyards.
We often go to Trius for lunch when we are at the Shaw Festival forva play. The room is just beautiful, the service is terrific and the food is always yummy. We enjoy the shared plates and also the homemade soups are delicious.
Enjoyed Easter dinner at Trius. Lovely atmosphere, had the fish, it was delicious. Will definitely return.
I like the winery. However, I was able to locate the Easter Brunch menu on the internet, I was hoping for lamb, but none was to be had. Secondly, for a fine dining establishment, the dining chairs should be clean. I think it's time to replace them!
We had an awesome experience and will definitely recommend it to friends.
Excellent as always in food quality and service. We will definitely return.
Great food! Service is excellent. Our favourite place to dine in Niagara region! Can’t wait to go back.
Très bonne table avec d'excellents vins du vignoble.
Le plateau de charcuteries et fromages a partager étaient bien garni.
C'était notre seconde visite et nous y retournerons sans hésiter.
Went for lunch but there was a big group in the room next door so it was very noisy, otherwise the restaurant is a nice and quiet place. The food was good, and the service was also very good.
Quite and comfortable setting. Excellent lunch with good service and tasty bottles of Trius’s white wines. Highly recommend since we re regular dinning guests. We visited the winery every time had friends coming from overseas. New renovations re to be expected in the future since designer and crews re performing the measurements and design review on site.
Amazing food and service !
Vacation with the family. They accommodated our tasting menu requests for the kids as well as allergies. Definitely worth returning, and had some great wine in their cellar to accompany the food.
