    Service abysmal. Took more than 20 minutes to place drink orders. First drink arrived right away. Waited another 15 minutes for the rest of the drinks and finally place our order. Another 25 minutes went by before we got our food - which was only luke-warm. It’s a shame, because the food itself was very good. Left a very small tip.

    I have never not loved my meal at True Food. Being dairy-free, to have actual options on the menu for desserts is so rare and such a delight. Every thing I've ever had here is delicious and I LOVE love LOVE their iced green tea. Highly recommend!

    We had a lovely family lunch and everyone was happy with the food choices and service. Half price bottles of wine are a real value and bar has a nice selection of spirits. Server was attentive and friendly.

    Always my go to spot in any city that has a True food kitchen. This location did not disappoint, food quality was excellent and consistent with the others. Our server was really the best and she continually checked in with us, but just the right amount and not bothersome at all. I always feel satisfied and not overstuffed and heavy when I leave her! I crave their edamame dumplings, chicken sausage pizza and Korean noodle bowl.

    I've always liked TFK but last night the server was wearing a lot of perfume. So much that every time she came to our table or the one next to us my dining partner and I both started coughing.

    We sat outside during a heat advisory, which we asked to switch to an indoor location but it was not an option. We assumed in Austin TX that the restaurant would have fans (and misters?) but it had neither. It was miserably hot and we could not eat nor enjoy our food. We asked for ice which quickly melted and had warm/hot water for drinking.

    As far as I am concerned, consistently- speaking, True Food Kitchen at Seaholm is one of the very best restaurants in Austin for fresh and gourmet meals served in a cool, calm, and collected aesthetically hip environment.     1st visit as we live in San Antonio and we're please to see gluten free for one of our party of 4. She ordered gluten free lasagna but she learned later when she was ill all night, that it was not gluten free.

    True Food Kitchen never disappoints. My turkey burger w/sweet potatoes is always delicious and the avocado toast is more than you can imagine - large toast loaded w/yummy avocado, egg and greens! Staff is always pleasant and full of smiles, which sets a positive tone.

    Our go-to spot for when we want to keep things on the healthy side, but tbh every time I eat here there is an issue w/ the food. Last night my shrimp was so salty as to be practically inedible and my Thai Red Curry was super sugary sweet. Other times they tried to pass off garden variety green beans as Chinese long beans and various vegetables that were supposed to be cooked were raw. I want to bad to love this food but it always disappoints this foodie. Meh.

    Very nicely decorated dining room, but noise level became cacophony. Servers were attentive and food was delicious, although some sauces were very spicy, and that was not described on the menu.

    Went back to try again and so much better.. We all agreed that we had healthy choices of tasty, filling food and delicious drinks and deserts. Although they can't cook broccoli to save themselves ( It needs to be par boiled before added to stir fries) Basic cooking 101 Great service from a waiter who was patient and had a sense of humor, lovely staff and pleasant atmosphere. NOTE: An hour of free garage parking isn't enough, and at the rate they charge, park on the street and get the app.

    True Food is delicious food although the last 3 times I have visited this dining establishment, the service has been disappointing. Staff not willing to understand they are there to serve customers. When there are mistakes, poor attitudes and graciousness are the norm. I sure hope True Food starts paying attention to their service. Although the food is made right, I am not willing to return when the value is not there. The food is expensive which is understandable but service matters.

    Food was excellent. The hummus and guacamole tasted perfect but served short on pita bread and umami crackers. The Korean noodle bowl was delicious, but arrived without chop sticks. The general service was below par, however the food quality and appearance and restaurant ambiance was exceptional.
