    Food was great-I wish there was one closer to me so I could try more stuff on the menu. It took a little long for the food to come. The starters came, and then the entries came right after. I would have liked too much on the starters, and then have a little break before the entrées.

    A friendly, healthy, and reasonably-priced restaurant. Large space, industrial space, and young servers. The menu is large and varied and full of healthy and farm-to-table ingredients. We were a large party, and the restaurant may have been understaffed, as we waited 40 minutes before our order was taken and drinks delivered. That said, servers were friendly, food was good, and prices were reasonable.

    The music being played ruined the dining experience. It was too driving, not good for conversation nor digestion. The food was good. The service uneven. A long wait for dessert and entrees came before appetizer was finished.

    We had an excellent dinner experience at this True Food location in Austin. The manager was apologetic that some items were not available after a UT game crowd rush, but every item we did have in our party of 6, from apps and cocktails to entrees and desserts, was excellent. The prices make True Food Seaholm in Austin a great value. The outdoor patio was quite and comfortable. Highly recommend!

    We made a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The service was extremely slow and it took two full hours from arrival to departure. With two young children at the table, it was a challenge. The food was amazing, but it just took too long for us.

    Excellent service! I brought my dad for a belated birthday celebration. His wife is gluten-free and this restaurant has excellent gf offerings. Our server, Lindsay V, was wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable. She helped us select great drinks and she made sure my dad's birthday was great.

    The kitchen needs to tell servers what’s unavailable so the servers can tell customers IN ADVANCE that menu items are sold out. It’s annoying and a waste of everyone’s time. We had communicated our parties needs so I think the accuracy and timeliness of our service should have been better. Also, the chopped salad is really just a leafy tossed salad so I would change that on the menu.

    Service abysmal. Took more than 20 minutes to place drink orders. First drink arrived right away. Waited another 15 minutes for the rest of the drinks and finally place our order. Another 25 minutes went by before we got our food - which was only luke-warm. It’s a shame, because the food itself was very good. Left a very small tip.

    Drinks took over 30 minutes but were good except for one guest his smoked old fashioned was missing the smoke. Service was ok not great but food was excellent when it eventually arrived! Some odd inconsistencies in plating though. A little disappointing so I won’t purposefully make reservations when we’re in town but as the food was good I’d eat there again.

    I have never not loved my meal at True Food. Being dairy-free, to have actual options on the menu for desserts is so rare and such a delight. Every thing I've ever had here is delicious and I LOVE love LOVE their iced green tea. Highly recommend!

    We had a lovely family lunch and everyone was happy with the food choices and service. Half price bottles of wine are a real value and bar has a nice selection of spirits. Server was attentive and friendly.

    Always my go to spot in any city that has a True food kitchen. This location did not disappoint, food quality was excellent and consistent with the others. Our server was really the best and she continually checked in with us, but just the right amount and not bothersome at all. I always feel satisfied and not overstuffed and heavy when I leave her! I crave their edamame dumplings, chicken sausage pizza and Korean noodle bowl.

    I've always liked TFK but last night the server was wearing a lot of perfume. So much that every time she came to our table or the one next to us my dining partner and I both started coughing.

    We sat outside during a heat advisory, which we asked to switch to an indoor location but it was not an option. We assumed in Austin TX that the restaurant would have fans (and misters?) but it had neither. It was miserably hot and we could not eat nor enjoy our food. We asked for ice which quickly melted and had warm/hot water for drinking.

    As far as I am concerned, consistently- speaking, True Food Kitchen at Seaholm is one of the very best restaurants in Austin for fresh and gourmet meals served in a cool, calm, and collected aesthetically hip environment.     1st visit as we live in San Antonio and we're please to see gluten free for one of our party of 4. She ordered gluten free lasagna but she learned later when she was ill all night, that it was not gluten free.

    True Food Kitchen never disappoints. My turkey burger w/sweet potatoes is always delicious and the avocado toast is more than you can imagine - large toast loaded w/yummy avocado, egg and greens! Staff is always pleasant and full of smiles, which sets a positive tone.

    Our go-to spot for when we want to keep things on the healthy side, but tbh every time I eat here there is an issue w/ the food. Last night my shrimp was so salty as to be practically inedible and my Thai Red Curry was super sugary sweet. Other times they tried to pass off garden variety green beans as Chinese long beans and various vegetables that were supposed to be cooked were raw. I want to bad to love this food but it always disappoints this foodie. Meh.

    Very nicely decorated dining room, but noise level became cacophony. Servers were attentive and food was delicious, although some sauces were very spicy, and that was not described on the menu.
