Italian
Authentic Cuisine, From Northern Italy to Seattle
Since its inception, Tulio has been a regular on restaurant awards lists, thanks in no small part to Chef Walter Pisano, whose cooking is inspired as much by his travels through the Old World as his Italian roots. Tulio’s dishes are simple yet sophisticated, combining rustic Italian preparations with local ingredients to create bold flavors and an unforgettable dining experience. Recognizing that our guests have different tastes and dining preferences, we proudly offer several gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes on each of our daily menus. If you have any food allergies or other special requests, please let us know.

We went for my daughter's 17th birthday and everyone was so warm and kind. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Would DEF go again.

Gnocchi was like croutons soaked in butter. I ordered risotto and it tasted like normal rice and the chicken they served with it was drier than the Sahara. Even the bread was somehow inedible. One of the worst Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. However, the staff was really friendly. I’m just surprised this place can stay in business with the standard of food they serve..

First time dining here in several years and was delighted to find my favorite sweet potato gnocchi in fried sage butter still on the starters list. As delicious as ever and perfectly paired with an arugula salad in a lemony vinaigrette that balanced the marscapone on the gnocchi. The roast chicken with risotto was the best I've ever had. Impeccable execution and presentation with each bite a gorgeous blend of savory flavors and wonderful mouth-feel. My companion had the lamb with a delectable creamy, cheesy polenta. We shared an Amari flight as well, but no room for dessert. Lovely, attentive and kind service. Beautiful, romantic atmosphere. Perfect date night!

Classic Italian cooking in a small, intimate venue with attentive experienced service. It was a pleasure for 3 generations 15y/o, 97 y/o and something in between 😄.

It is a stroke of good fortune that Tulio has returned as a downtown lunch option. The cozy feel and divine cuisine make for an experience that both calms and delights. Take a brief trip to Italy just a few steps away.
