    Tundra was always my go-to pre-theatre restaurant. I told my guests,"The food is good, service is great and it has appropriate pre-show ambience". Last night was such a disappointment. While I understand being in the midst of a lobby renovation is challenging - don't charge the same price, aka expensive, for lesser food in a room that felt like a Holiday Inn breakfast hall. Definitely will not return.

    Tundra has been moved to what I can only call a meeting room on the second floor. It has none of the interest/ambiance that it had while in the lobby. Given the complete lack of ambiance, the food, while ok, is well overpriced.

    Hilton under renovation. Tundra relocated on 2nd floor. Food& service were good. Can't wait for them to go back down to the main floor. This was, and will be, I'm sure, a great place to go b4 & after the Opera. Right now, it's very pedestrian. Really looking forward to the re-opening!

    We booked a table for a business dinner, for an out of town client. The new second floor location is just tables in a ballroom. The ambience was depressing, there was loud tinny music (over bad speakers), our menus were dirty, and it felt like eating in a school cafeteria. The food was great, and the wait staff were superb as always. I don’t think we will come back until after the renovations are complete and Tundra is back in a space that feels like a proper dining room.

    Really disappointed in the whole experience. I realize the hotel restaurant is under construction but the pop up lacks in everything. No ambience, the service was poor and the food did not live up to expectations. We ordered a meat and cheese charcuterie board that was $38 - and my 15 year old son could have put together something far better than what we received. Breton crackers, the smallest pieces of cheese that was not identified to us, it looked like it was put together with the most minimal amount of effort and care. The cheese rolls were very small and presented oddly on a small side plate instead of being kept warm in a basket. When the server asked us if everything was ok because we really didn’t each much of the cheese board - I mentioned how really disappointing it was. He seemed to take offence and make excuses. The only remedy was a free dessert - I feel they should have credited the board. I would not dine there again.

    The staff was friendly and professional. They made the children feel special. The food was delicious. The kids even ate their vegetables. Healthy choices are available. It was a bit pricey but convenient. Thank you to your staff who went above and beyond.

    Even though the restaurant is under renovation at it's usual locale, it certainly doesn't take away from the food and usual excellent service. Kevin our waiter is always a joy to deal with. His excellent temperament and attention to detail makes dining here a very pleasant experience.

    We didn’t end up staying because the actual restaurant is closed due to construction and there were tables set up in a conference room. It would have been good to k ow this prior to booking.

    We sat for 30 minutes waiting for our empty plates to be cleared. We had to request someone pay attention to us and then when we brought it up to the waiter that we had been sitting for so long he didn’t respond. Poor customer service.

    A complete turn around from the last two visits. Although the food could still use some fine tuning this time the service was attentive, helpful and efficient from the hostess to the waiter. Very pleasant in all areas. The location next to the COC is very convenient and they do offer a pre theatre prix fixe menu. The soup on this occasion was the star, a San Mariano tomato bisque was delicious but the salmon entree lacked pizzazz although was entirely edible nonetheless. Just nothing special and fairly bland. Special requests were no problem and graciously accommodated. All in all we enjoyed are meal, our wine and the service. Thanks to all.

    After making the reservation we called the restaurant and asked if we could have breakfast as it was close to lunch time. We were told we would get both menus and we would have our choice. When we got to the restaurant we were told we could only have lunch, no breakfast items. There was no one in the restaurant. The staff had nothing to do and yet could not accomodate us.

    We assumed from the reviews that this was a fine dining restaurant, but it's just a semi-open concept hotel eating area. We came for the breakfast menu, but we were advised that it was buffet only. Very disappointed. The buffet food was edible, but it was very expensive. We were asked when we were seated if we wanted coffee, but we never received any. I wouldn't return here.

    Tundra is a good restaurant with good service as well as good food. They accommodate for allergies very well. The portion size was smaller for some some meals considering the price. There could’ve also been a better volume of noise. There was a little girl walking around the restaurant touching many items while coughing. It would’ve been better if management were to speak to the family. Overall, the experience was good.

    Our waiter is always attentive and prompt. The menu offers variety. The food is consistently good. It is close to the Four Seasons Centre for concerts.

    I was led to believe that this was gonna be fine dining before we went to the ballet. Location was excellent for the ballet the noise level was very acceptable the service was lovely we had a really nice waitress. The food was lacklustre and didn’t feel fresh. Eat salad very acid lettuce accompanied by for a very small unseasoned beats mean of char in parchment paper was surprisingly dry and unsalted seasoned. Three people having a adequate meal at $300 didn’t feel right. I also found the wine list to be very limited and the cocktails to be uninspiring.

    This visit to Tundra was memorable in many ways...we had not been back since the Spring of last year (Covid et al) yet were welcomed like 'old established guests'. We had been delayed for over an hour (insane traffic!) I had called interim to hopefully secure our table - was cordially met and personally welcomed and immediately seated when we did arrive. The waiter addressed us by name and welcomed us 'back'! a fine pre-theatre dining experienced followed. Thank you Tundra - we shall be back, on Thursday 24th - looking forward to it already!
