Everything is made in-house, including our fresh bread and pastas. Some dishes are permanent productions of our kitchen — gnudi, pinci, pappardelle, tagliatelle. Others are more seasonal, like stuffed zucchini flowers in the summers and polpetta and hearty soups in the winter. From day one, we have served venison, wild boar, fennel pork sausage and we love to produce delectable trays of antipasto, which change seasonally and daily (sometimes even mid‐service!)
Discover a great list of Italian wines, carefully selected to match the flavors and spirit of Tuscan food.

Excellent Service. Very good food. Thoroughly enjoyable dinner.
Enjoyed the prix -fix lunch. Everything was excellent!
Great for lunch!
Fresh, delicious food bite after bite. Lovely understated environment, throwback to many an Italian trattoria I’ve frequented across the ocean. Will dine here again.
One of my favourite lunch spots. Love the food. Never disappointed.
The food is always very good and the freshness of the ingredients is top notch. The burrata was delicious, the brussels sprouts so good! We enjoyed the whole fish as our entre and look forward to a return trip.
Authentic food and great hospitality! Strongly recommended the pizza dough with olive oil and the porchetta
Had just a great dinner with some friends. The scallop special was divine
The food and service at Tutti Matti are always on point. I never hesitate to bring personal friends and close clients as I know we will not be disappointed. The meal was delicious as was the wine options. Hope you had a wonderful trip to Italy Alida!
I made a reservation and the restaurant was not opened, I wasted an hour commuting and there was no notice
reserved a table for 6 on feb 17th at 7:30 pm (family day)... the app said they were open and space was limited... i entered my credit card number to secure the reservation as requested... we showed up half an hour ahead of time and they were closed!!! i called and got their regular VM message... left my number explaining the predicament they left us in but no one has called to say sorry which should have been a courtesy extended to say the least...
Very tight seating, felt like we were sharing the table with the couple beside us. Pizza bread was delicious though!
Great meal!! Wish they had a few cheaper wine options but otherwise no complaints,
I loved foods and service, and had one of my best experiences there.
Only factor that could mention to improve is tables was very close to each other. Maybe by removing one or two table could make more pleasant privacy for remain tables.
The manager was incredibly rude to her waitress and waiters. SHE SNAPED AG HER WAITER TO GIVE THE MENU TO A TABLE.
She yelled at her waiter over our table...
Incredibly micro manager and absolutely annoying and rude lady...
Good absolutely delicious!! Great job Chef!!
Tutti Matti signature dishes never disappoint. The Porchetta di Maremma, Costole di Manzo, and Cavoletti di Bruxelles are a must!
Great to dine where the owner/chef is so hands on, personable and so passionate about food-a rarity in the over-fussy, attitude-driven kitchens in Toronto. Ahhhh yes! The chef is Alida Solomon - a woman who actually cares about her guests’ experience more than her own ego! Thanks for a great evening.
Love this restaurant! It has been there for 17 years and is as good as the first time I went in...almost that many years ago. Terrific Italian food, wine and cocktails. The servers are friendly and attentive, Alida the chef owner is amazing!
Food is amazing. Service is attentive. Winterlicious menu was innovative and delicious. Great evening.
Food tasted really good, service was wonderful, presentation of food was lacking
Came here after a long day at work. The wine selection is great and after ordering two glasses of the Brunello we ordered a bottle. Unfortunately, that was the best part of it. While the burrata was okay the fish tasted like it had been frozen a looong time. The choice of vegetables was very limited and the carrots were not very tasty.. the dessert “gelato” Is just regular vanilla ice cream though the addition of grand Mariner soups up the taste, though adding some strawberries would be better. We went because we bust Utaly a lot and the owners indicate some background from there, but it was not even close.
Food was great, but our server was uninterested in serving us and practically yelled at us every time we spoke to her. There are so many wonderful Italian restaurants with great food and the service to match. I would pass on this place.
A quaint spot on Adelaide that has a fervent following through the years, including my brother who sings the praises to all who will listen.
Tonight we started with the pear burrata appetizer along with the porchetta on grilled sourdough. Both were delicious and chef Solomon knows the proper use of subtlety in her flavors.
We finished with the Beppe pizza with duck that was highlighted perfectly by the sweet roasted onion.
Excellent all around
Great meal. Will return and would recommend. Service was great.
Great food and wine recommendations. Excellent service. Everything fresh and homemade.
There were four people at our table and we all enjoyed our prix fixe meal and the lovely setting of Tutti Matti. The roasted grape and greens salad was delicious and beautiful. The pasta with beef ragu was tasty and filling. The tiramasu ice cream dessert was nice to look at and did not disappoint in the taste category either. My only reason for not giving an outstanding rating is that we reserved for12:15 and my guests had to leave by two p.m.. It took so long to receive our main course that we were somewhat pressed at the end to eat our dessert and did not choose to order a tea or coffee. It was busy and maybe that explains the wait because the waiter appeared to be conscientious. I would still strongly recommend this restaurant though and will come back.
Overall a very pleasant dinner. Although the Restaurant’s open kitchen resulted in a bit of a smoky environment it did not detract from the overall experience . Our table sampled a number of appetizers and entrees on the dinner menu and enjoyed all of them. Perfect stick to your bones fare for a very cold day.Check the restaurant’s website for a current menu .
Everyone enjoyed their dinners. Food was very very good.
The only knock is we wish there were more plant-based options.
While we didn't feel rushed, we did a feel a bit neglected. The food was good, however my brisket pasta was a little overdone I'm sorry to say. Ventilation could be improved too, it got a bit smoky at one point. We like the restaurant overall, especially because they make a lot of effort to keep the Tuscan inspired food authentic.
Fabulous Italian themed food with interesting and imaginative flavours and variety, excellent wine, plus excellent service. Highly recommend.
Our "go to" for Italian fare. Chef Alida has it all figured out.
Best Italian restaurant in the city.
I consider the food at Tutti Matti beyond reproach. The flavours are familiar, taken to an unfamiliar height. It is a place one goes both for the comfort and the unexpected, whether it's an ordinary-sounding soup, that, upon tasting, makes you feel you could handle a communicable disease, or a couple of ribs, generously draped with melt in your mouth well-basted meat...irresistable.
Outstanding evening again. Consistently high quality food and creative authentic Tuscan menu. I love that the kitchen can easily accommodate my vegan and vegetarian guests. We all always feel at home. Service is consistently friendly and welcoming. Wine list is outstanding with so many great Italian wines from new and up and coming winemakers. Never fails to deliver an outstanding evening.
What a lovely dinner we had. It was a family birthday celebration and also a remembrance for us as we traveled to Tuscany together and wanted to enjoy a Tuscan meal again.
Service was very slow. It was >20 minutes from being seated to even being asked if we wanted any water. We should have taken it as a sign right then and there to find some place else to go but it was already 9PM on a Saturday and finding someplace else would be difficult.
For the most part the food was good (not great). Service was the bigger issue. There’s a fine line between giving diners space to enjoy their meal and neglect. Add to it that drinks we ordered that never arrived and an owner/manager schmoozing another table beside us invading our personal space being loud and boisterous and our evening was just plain awful.
I just wanted to say the overall experience was very good, I could not believe how noisy the Restaurant was. I could not hear my friends and could not enjoy their company. I know this time of year is busy, but give us a heads up if their is going to be a Christmas party as we were seated beside them. I would not recommend to visit this restaurant during the Christmas time. The food was really good.
Very limited menu. Made no effort to be customer friendly. Absolutely zero substitutions made to the menu. Bartender could not make a martini. Pizza undercooked. So sorry I went there and I hope this review will discourage others from going and being disappointed.
Excellent food. Much care and thought goes into the ingredients and preparation. Chef is confident and on top of her game. An amazing restaurant.
