Everything is made in-house, including our fresh bread and pastas. Some dishes are permanent productions of our kitchen — gnudi, pinci, pappardelle, tagliatelle. Others are more seasonal, like stuffed zucchini flowers in the summers and polpetta and hearty soups in the winter. From day one, we have served venison, wild boar, fennel pork sausage and we love to produce delectable trays of antipasto, which change seasonally and daily (sometimes even mid‐service!)

Slow service, extremely noisy. Food is expensive for what you get. Overal a disappointing experience. We enjoyed it in the past but quite a different atmosphere now.
The best Italian food and Italian style dinning in Toronto.
Few options for vegetarians .
My food was good (porchetta); portions are a good size, but not cheap, because you have to buy the sides to the meat course separately. I had a glass of wine for $14. It was overpriced (Piedmont Nebbiolo 2016); the pour was minimal, maybe 4 ounces. I would like to thank the restaurant for very good and friendly service.
We were going through serious withdrawal as Tutti Matti was closed for restoration. Brought friends along who had never had the pleasure of dining there before. Everyone was blown away. I have a variety of serious food allergies and the entire team made sure that I had a host of delicious and exciting dishes to share with our table of non allergic folk. I had everything but the bread and pizza. Without exception everything that arrived to our table was of the highest quality with regard to both produce and preparation. Unpretentious and relaxed atmosphere with attention to detail.
Fantastic quality, small authentic Tuscan menu. They now have a wood fired oven. They finally opened after some flooding and renovations. Will be going back!
I made a reservation by using OpenTable, and when I got to the restaurant for my reservation, it was closed. I was not notified that there had been a flood, and emergency renovations were taking place. Someone From the restaurant should have notified either me or open table to let its customers know that their reservations would be canceled. I came into the city all the way from Windsor to have dinner there and to see a play. I was very disappointed.
The food served here was absolutely amazing and activated all of our taste buds. The recommended wine was perfect and associated very well with all the dishes. The best food experience we had in Toronto!!
When we walked into the restaurant what a wonderful greeting we received. The food was delicious and also very hot. I like my food hot. The restaurant was busy but we didn’t feel rushed to leave. I would dine there again and again.
nice place. Great food and portions for summerlicious.
Great food and ambiance, just wish our waiter was more attentive.
We love this restaurant - consistently great food and excellent service!
Went here for Summerlicious. I really enjoyed the Foccacia antipasti dish. The Secondi and Dolci choices were ok. Not sure the pre-fixe menu did it for me but the over all experience and food was ok. I think I will try this place some other time independent of summerlicious.
Very good home made pasta!
Great first experience. We really enjoyed the home made pasta.
Food, as always, was great. Service, although well intentioned, was far too slow considering the number of occupied tables.
Amazing food and service. We can't wait to go again.
Food and service was fantastic. Chef Alida is extremely talented and definitely knows how to wow customers with her abilities.
Great food and atmosphere. BYOB which was awesome.
This restaurant exceeded our expectations. From the moment we entered we felt welcomed and knew the owner really wanted our experience to be special. The food was creative and delicious. I will definitely be back!
Always a great, authentic Italian meal. Very welcoming, cozy and a great date night out.
Very average... the taste of the food was good but nothing special. The pasta didn’t seem homemade which l expected given the price.
Out of town guests first time visit to Toronto, a big disappointment in terms of food and very service service
Warm and welcoming atmosphere with attentive but relaxed service. The Northern Italian food is always sensational, both seasonal and with such lovely attention to flavours. Great wines and grappa. It is one that you want to make your Italian go to restaurant!
Tutti Matti is my favourite Italian restaurant in Toronto. It is authentic Tuscan food, not the usual North American version of Italian food.
Food was delicious. service was slower than usual because there was one server, but she remained friendly and cool, under pressure.
Exceptional evening at Tutti Matti. The food, wine, service were outstanding. The friendly staff helped us with our food and wine choices. Even the owner came out to say hello. Thank for a very special night. We will be back again soon.
Fresh and delicious!
We were there as two couples and we made the decision to let our hostess choose our meals to give us a sampling of the menu. She made up our dining experience to share two appetizers, two pastas, two meats and then one dessert. The menu is creative and she made fabulous choices for us and we all but licked the plates clean. The whole experience was terrific and memorable for all. We had a great evening. Thanks.
Two of our group were celebrating birthdays.
We were there on a rainy night and the place was slow. We found that the menus had shrunk. The appetizers were very different and it was hard to find 2 that we liked. They weren’t great. The pasta was good. Charging for bread ticked me off and it wasn’t very good. Our server knows wine and picked an excellent bottle, which was the highlight. Overall, the food was disappointing and I’ll not rush back.
Excellent appetizers, daily specials, and desserts. Put your wine choices in their hands and let them surprise you!
We LOVED the food, service was impeccable and can't wait to bring our foodie friends there! Highly recommended! Thank you Chef Alida!
Food was great. Chef has a deft feel for fish. Done to perfection. Light grill flavour so taste of fish shines through. Quite noisy and chilly. Service attentive and pleasant. Not adaptable nor accommodating to special requests or substitutions.
Had not been in a little while and I'm so happy I finally went back! Loved all the dishes and the wine.
Delicious food (outstanding!); cozy and warm atmosphere; friendly and inviting stuff.
Overall a wonderful outing !
The food was great and our server was very good. However there was a large party seated at the back where we were and it was sooooo loud!! I wish we were seated away from the event as it was our sat night out!!
The food was terrible, so we made an excuse and left after our starter.
