   Very satisfied I decided to take my husband for his bday and the minute I walked in was a nice welcoming, great services, great recommendations for wines and the food was great too. Love the intimacy/quite ambiance perfect to have a nice dinner and able to talk. Definitely loved it

   The food was tasty, but we were seated upstairs by the bar and it was noisy. The service was good and the food was good value for the price. I can’t understand why they would charge a service fee for a party of four and add service charge for the use of the credit card.

    The food is always outstanding but what Jacks does far far better than most is make you feel like a very special guest. For example we had a table of five and wanted to share appetizers not portioned on the menu for five. They reportioned and plated a sampler plate for each of us. ALSO (and this is important) Bacon corn brulee is the best steakhouse side dish in North America.

    The valet parking was a plus since it was hard to find a spot. Service was excellent. My boyfriend had the baked clams and burger which were delicious. I ordered the lobster salad which was excellent but my main dish (chicken) was dry. I did not enjoy it. I would skip the chicken for sure and try something else if I were to go back.

    Great staff but the food isn’t as good as it use to be. Very disappointed in the porterhouse for two. No flavor at all not even a dash of salt. Very disappointing, at one point it was one of my very places to go. But now we must part.

    The service and ambiance were up to the standards of most nice steak houses but the quality of the steak was not up to the standard of a good steak house. A rib eye at a good steak house should be very flavorful but this was just mediocre at best.

    Went in with a gift card. Apparently after a few years they don’t honor them. 200$ down the drain. Was left very disappointed after such a great meal with wonderful service. I get business isn’t great since Covid and the place was empty. But to not honor your own gift card is very unprofessional and sadly will be the reason I do not return there.

    Requested a week before Valentines Day that i would need room for a stroller as well as reserved a table for 3 to guarantee that my baby’s stroller could fit. I also purposely requested an early reservation for 2PM as to not be a nuisance to other diners on Valentines night. The lady on the phone assured that we would have room for the stroller. When we arrived, there was absolutely no room for a stroller and all the tables were squeezed so tightly together that the table next to you could probably hear you whisper. They seated us at a table for 2 like they had completely forgotten my request. There were only 2 other couples there at 2 PM. We had to rush through our meal as there was no place to lay our baby down because they asked us to fold up our stroller and leave it by the door. From what i could gather, the food was good. Our waiter was quirky. Just please tell me next time that there is no room for a stroller and I’ll easily say “ok no problem” and go somewhere else more baby friendly.

    6 of us having Filet and unfortunately the one served first was hammered, extremely over cooked. The waiter had the chef prepare another filet and when brought to the table it was extremely undercooked. I’ve been here many times and usually no issues.

    We are returning customers of Uncle Jack's Steakhouse - Bayside to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our dear friend Victor's 30th birthday. LOL. Our celebration could not have gone any better. In honor of this momentous event, we elected to start with the Baked Claims and Charred Spanish Octopus, which was wonderful. We were slightly disappointed that the Lobster Avocado salad was unavailable, but the Wedge salad was a suitable substitute. The guest of honor and I both ordered the Kobe steaks which were cooked to perfection. Our steaks were so tender and exploding with flavor. I had the loaded baked potato which was filled with bacon and cheese, and we shared orders of asparagus and broccoli. Cream spinach is my favorite side with steak, but they only offer a steamed or sautéed spinach, not the classic creamed spinach side. We also indulged in several of the deserts and coffee, which were amazing! Our server was continually checking back with us and providing helpful advice on menu options, and our water and drinks were refilled as appropriate, without our needing to ask for help. This was clearly a five star occasion and Uncle Jack's did not disappoint with an all around five star dinner experience. Thank you!

    Been there a lot of times through the years but it seems the quality is slipping. Ordered stale for two, came a bit cool, but cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the quality of meat wasn’t great. It had lots of veins and fat. The burger my kid took was excellent, but the sandwich wasn’t. Desert the pecan pie was great but chocolate moose was bad. So Mixed feelings.

    Came here for dinner on New Years Eve. The service was amazing. The food was great as well. My boyfriend got a drink and that was tasty. We were there when the clock struck 12 and they provided party favors and a complimentary glass of champagne. I would highly recommend.

    I took my wife to Uncle Jacks in Bayside. Service was great, we were seated in minutes, our table was wobbly and after a few attempts it was “fixed”, not great just better than it was. Our drinks came fast and the servers were professional and attentive. Appetizers came out and food was great (Wagu Meatballs, Grilled Octopus and Seafood Platter). Everything was great until our steaks arrived, my wife ordered the Prime Bone-in Filet Mignon and I ordered the prime Rib Chop, both ordered medium rare-medium. Both Steaks arrived very well done, the servers acknowledged our concern and took our steaks and sides back up to the kitchen. A few moments later two steaks and sides were bought back to our table. My wife’s was cooked to her liking, and my steak was raw-rare at best, and the sides were luke-warm. We figured to just go ahead and eat the food since we were over it at this point. As we were eating our dinner, several other guests complained about their food. The manager Bill came down and dealt with one table and gave an apology and comps. He came over to us, gave me a pat on the shoulder and a business card with his name on it, a brief apology and walked away. Leaving me to think, what am I suppose to do with this? Call in 6 months and say hey Bill, this is Brian, you served me 2 bad steaks back in December, remember me? .. Another table ended up leaving their main course on the table and getting comped for them since their meals were undercooked and charged for their appetizers. Last another couple ate their meal, complained about it and got comped. Then there is us, we got the receipt, no comps, nothing, not even a complementary drink. A $445 bill, which is fine. When we paid the bill in cash, I have 5-$100 bills, expecting change to come back. No change was given, after waiting about 15 minutes we walked out.
