    Everything was great.. food, server, ambiance.. however we were there for a lunch meeting and it was extremely noisy and made it very hard to carry on a conversation. I am sure it is a very fun place in the evenings and weekends.

    Issue has been the service. Inattentive and slow. The employees don't seem to "care" about providing a quality experience to their customers. We had steak fajitas which were good, but came out with no tortillas, trying to flag someone down to get them was difficult as no one was on the floor. Will come back eventually I guess, but there are a bunch of other Mexican restaurants in the area that are better. Definitely not our normal "go to" for Mexican.

    1. The hostess was not friendly 2. Tablecloth was dirty at our table 3. Table side guacamole - person did not bother to ask how we wanted our guacamole seasoned 4. When boxing up the food we didn’t eat, our waitress didn’t offer us any chips or salsa I’ve eaten at this locations many other times and never had any problems before. Note: I originally used Open Table for our reservation and redeemed points; what was interesting was that no one at the restaurant knew how Open Table points worked - so I had to call Open Table and ask for the points to be restored back to my account.

    My wife's birthday was on 2/22, and she wanted to try Uncle Julio's in Sandy Springs. The location was nice, but the service was poor. The food was ok; Mexican food is the same everywhere you go. Our waitress was a young girl and young people do not understand the value of good customer service. She forgot drinks that we asked for and seemed to have a bad attitude when we ask for refills. I personally will not go back.

    I have never written a bad review on any establishment. We have been patrons of this Uncle Julio's location for quite some time, and I will not be going back after our experience the other night. From beginning to end, it was atrocious.We arrived with a reservation, and after waiting a while, we asked how much longer it would be to be seated.We were told "a few more minutes". After this had happened two other times while we waited an hour, the head hostess said "Your reservation must have fallen out of our system." With no apology AT ALL, we were then seated upstairs. It took quite some time to get our drinks. When we ordered our meal, I asked for the steak fajitas..without the peppers.The waitress said that they cook the vegetables earlier in the day with peppers, and that my request was not able to be honored. PRE-COOKING any food like this at a restaurant should be concerning. It took several times of asking for our drinks to be re-filled. When our order came, my son's was incorrect, and they were not apologetic or polite when we asked for it to be corrected. My steak fajitas arrived to the table not sizzling...just warm..and they did not bring tortillas with it. After waiting on the tortillas to arrive for 10 minutes, my food was cold by the time they arrived. The portion was very skimpy. 5 or 6 pieces of meat...and that was it. The vegetables could have fit in one spoon. The manager brought my son's re-done meal to the table and said "So sorry. Here you go." After requesting the check...and waiting 15 minutes, ANOTHER server saw us and asked if we needed anything. We said we had been waiting for 15 minutes for the check and would like to pay. I don't know what he told our waitress, but I saw him walk up to her and say something to her. Within a few minutes, she came to the table....plopped the check on the table, and did not even say thank you.I paid and left. Our opinion of our experience there was not a positive one. We won't be going back.

    This was the worst experience there ever was. We had a reservation at 6:30, and we got seated right away. It then took 15 minutes for someone to bring us chips and salsa or ask us for our drink order. We ordered our food at the same time we ordered our drinks. We waited a whole hour and did not have our food. Our waitress Ashley stated that there was a major backup in the kitchen and our food would be out soon. About 5 minutes later the kitchen manager came out and said that she was sorry our food was over 15 min, and we had to inform her that we ordered over an hour ago, this was now 8pm. She then said that the food would be ready in 5 min. We waited another 30 min before another waiter came over to our table and asked if everything was okay. We were here for my birthday and we expressed how we still have not received our food, and we would like to speak to a manager. He then told us that our waitress Ashley was the manager. As we waited for her to come out there was a ton of food coming from the kitchen going to other tables that had arrived way after us. We finally told her to just cancel our meal, and just bring us the chocolate pinata so I could celebrate my birthday. This took another 15-20 min for this to come out. The waiter came back to our table to take down our phone number so the general manager could call us the following day. We ate this and were getting ready to leave and asked the same waiter that had come to our table before if we were good or not. He asked if we had paid for anything and we said no, and he said good walk out. We finally saw Ashley come out from the kitchen and we asked her and she said we were good to go. It has been two days and the general manager still has yet to contact us. This was the worst experience ever.

    I would recommend Uncle Julio's but the waitress was horrible. She did not check to see if we needed our glass filled or if we needed anything else. She did refill the chips and sauce but just wasn't a pleasant person. I would have given her a 20% tip but gave 10% because of poor service. She did not explain any of the dishes we choose. For example, the red rice was dry but did not no wecoukd have chose the lime rice. I was looking forward to coming to the restaurant with my four friends, one who was from Florida. This was our first time. We were not happy. Also, we were disappointed that many on the entrees on the website were not offered. I heard wonderful reviews about the Uncle Julio's in Duluth. I will try this one and recommend.

    1st time in and service was horribly slow...our server was reprimanded for doing our tableside guacamole. I guess the regular guac person was on break. Instead of having us wait he served us himself. Eventually we got all courses at once..drinks, water, appetizers, main course...but mostly had to ASK for EVERYTHING. Not enough space to detail how wrong this night went. Only redemption is food was that I had great company and the food was good.

    Food amazing ! Everything fresh !! Brandon our server was awesome! Our guacamole specialist Jona was fun and friendly he made the best guacamole ever!! Love this place .. I had the chicken and steak fajita .. meat was tender and flavorful . Can’t wait to go back!

    The food & service at this location was horrible. The waitress kept forgetting to check on us. We had to flag her down several times. The quality of the food was not as everyone states it is. The guacamole was not grind to a nice smooth texture, it was lumpy with no taste (bland). The entrees were not goo either. Had to wait forever for tortillas shells while food was getting cold.

    There were 5 of us for lunch at UJs. None of us had ever been there before. We had a very enjoyable lunch. We especially liked the table side guacamole. It was delicious. Food was very good and the service was excellent. It is a little pricey but not too bad. We would certainly return.

    I like the food here, especially the bacon-wrapped shrimp. The tortillas are very good and fresh. The chips are good but too thin, so that it's nearly impossible to scoop guacamole with them. The server was nice but the guy who made the tableside guacamole seemed disinterested in being there. We had a 9 month old with us and it was odd that they crammed us right up next to a party of 8 when there were a lot open tables to get us out of other patron's way in case the baby acted up (she didn't). The server thought she brought me two mixed drinks but I only had one. So could have been a better experience but overall no big deal. I'll have no problem coming back. I like this place. And the baby liked the guacamole.

    The manager did what she could to make it right but our waiter just couldn’t seem to get it together. No silverware, entered the order wrong, brought fajitas without tortillas-actually he never brought tortillas out out so we went and found someone else to give them to us. No chips, no refills. Food tasted great when we finally got what we ordered. Again, manager tries really hard to make it right but it was not an ideal

    We go here every year for my youngest daughters birthday. She really loves the chocolate piñata. The food was on par as always—the service was a little slow this time. Our waiter was a really lovely young man—so sure it was the kitchens fault! Would def recommend this location

    The night we dined at Uncle Julio’s the a/c was out. When we asked the waitress why it was so hot she said that she didn’t know. I later found out from the manager that corporate knew from the day before and they hadn’t sent anyone out. It was 100 degrees outside

    After being so impressed with the Nsshville location, I'd invited friends and family and drove an hour just to eat here. While he was nice and personable, it was disappointing that our server rarely came by, and he paid no attention to our answers or to our requests at times. He'd disappear or do something different from what we requested. It's as if his mind was somewhere else and he didn't listen. If he had listened, we stated an interest in the chocolate pinata. But he disappeared for over a half hour, so we finally asked someone to find him to bring the check. We thought he mught had left. Food was great, though. Just not sure it's worth the hour drive to come back.

    First of all we have a reservation and have to wait for our table for at least 30 . Service was great .the food was good in my opinion the price is to high no counting that our meals where incomplete no avocado 🥑 and no chips.. that’s just bad management

    Very slow service. We had a party of 7 and our meals came out 2-3 at a time spread over 10-15 minute intervals. Very disappointed. While it was a Saturday night, there were many open tables. The second floor was very dark.
