Union 50 is an innovative, chef driven restaurant and bar located in the Mass Ave neighborhood in Indianapolis, IN. Our dinner menu features creative dishes that change seasonally. Our full service bar features local libations and handcrafted cocktails. Union 50 also hosts live music, local and touring musicians and bands, multiple times per week.

Our bar is open an additional hour on Fridays and Saturdays.

We love Union 50 and it's always a contender when we want to choose a restaurant downtown to visit. Food is wonderful, service is awesome and it's great for a date night, girls night, pre-show dinner, etc. Love it!

Service was excellent!! The food was great also. Highly recommend the Tres Leches for dessert. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent meal with two other friends. The wedge salad was great, fresh and delicious. Entrees we’re chicken and waffles, short rib and salmon. All three excellent. Dessert was a dark chocolate raspberry cheesecake. I’ve never had this before and it was so rich and creamy. I’m never disappointed when dining here.

We dined during Devour Indy, ordered the salmon and short ribs. Outstanding food, our server was fantastic, attentive, not hovering. The weird thing was how you entered the building, around back, but most impressive once you entered the building.

We went with our long time high school friends … meeting for drinks first at the bar (bar tender was great)… i just had a draft beer, my wife and my friend’s wife had one of the signature cocktails, and my friend had a bourbon … alls good. We then had dinner … I had the devour Indy 3 course with salmon as the entree … appetizer was enough for the four of us and we also sharped the desert. The others had the shrimp and grits, a chicken dish, a third dish I cant remember … all very good. It had been a couple of years since we have been here and will be back soon.

Exceptional! We return to Union 50 again and again - the Marrow Bones are simply the best, ample and always perfectly prepared. The menu changes seasonally - loaded with unique and innovative preparations - you literally want to taste everything and it's so difficult to choose. The cocktails are exceptional - each season features new creations crafted from premium house-made infusions - so tempting to the adventurous palate. Servers are personable, consultative, attentive, courses are perfectly paced with a slight pause between - unhurried and dignified for a delightful dining experience. From front-of-house to farewell the entire experience is perfect. A must try if you haven't been, and a must return once you have!
