    It was a very poor experience. First we were seated at a table where the leather was stripped off the seats and you could see grey cloth underneath. It wasn't even a small patch, literally the whole seat. Asked to switch tables and was seated at a table which still had crumbs that I cleaned myself as I didn't want to move again. The grilled chicken hicken Caesar salad came with chicken coated in BBQ sauce. This was such a weird flavor since there is already Caesar dressing and then BBQ dressing all mixed into the salad. My guest had to send it back. We also checked the description of the dish and it had no mention of the BBQ dressing. Next I had to find cutlery for the new dish as it came without. I still tipped well even if the food and place was poor since I don't want to rib the young servers of their income but I would not be coming back and would not recommend it to anyone else.

    We met for a quick business meeting over lunch and had the tuna salad and the tuna bowl. Both were very good! Nice fresh fish cooked to perfection with great surrounding flavours.

    Service was great. Loved the gluten friendly and plant based menu. We throughly enjoyed our meal and will be back. The butternut squash ravioli was delicious.

    Met up with some friends and had a great evening. Food was reasonably priced considering and had a healthy portion of wine. Close the highway and lots of parking.

    The chicken wings were pink in the middle. The Cobb Salad and burger were great. The steak bowl was disappointing. Lots of ginger rather than other vegetables and lots of sushi rice (I hoped it would’ve been better). I won’t get it again and I doubt we’ll go back. We also thought the daily specials were all day but when we arrived we found out that it’s only from 8 pm onwards:(

    Veronica was amazing. She is attentive, offered great solutions and was able to get dietary needs met. She also had perfect timing to move the meal along and her authentic smile made for a wonderful mid day lunch break!

    We usually like it here but it was a bad choice for a special occasion. Especially since we were seated in the bar area, yuck. Food was ok, although fries and tenders were a bit over cooked/charred. But it’s too loud here, zero ambience if you are trying to have a conversation, music is awful, and service was so so. Makes me not want to go back there, and we live in the neighborhood. The clientele looked mainly over 40 so I question the music choice and the volume. Just wasn’t a great night out for us.

    Not enough choices for those with dietary restrictions. The restaurant was quite warm with no a/c running. Noise level became louder with a larger group, acoustics weren’t great with the high ceilings to counteract that.

    A++ across the board. Great service, excellent food and drinks!! You have to try the smoked apple old fashion and tacos never disappoint! If you are a Caesar salad lover, just order! Best of the best. Our server/bartender Reni was friendly, knowledgeable and was always around when we needed something.

    Personal pet peeve - when provided with the screen to pay the bill, it starts with a 15% tip. The person visited our table twice.

    Overall a good experience. A Father’s Day lunch. We shared the nachos and each had a burger. We were both happy with our meals. The service though could have been better. Our server was good initially but she seemed to disappear and we had to seek out condiments and drink refills. Even getting my receipt was a challenge. I would give them the benefit of the doubt and visit again though.

    During our recent visit to Union Social Eatery, we had a mixed experience. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, and the food was satisfactory, but the service left much to be desired. Despite the relaxed atmosphere, the hospitality we received from the staff lacked enthusiasm and attentiveness. The flavors of the dishes were decent, but they didn't evoke a "wow" factor. While Union Social Eatery is a suitable option for a casual meal, the subpar hospitality detracts from the overall dining experience. In any dining experience, exceptional service can elevate an average meal to a memorable one. Unfortunately, Union Social Eatery failed to deliver in this aspect. The staff should strive to improve their attentiveness and ensure that customers feel valued and well taken care of throughout their visit. A little more warmth and enthusiasm from the waiter would have gone a long way in enhancing our overall dining experience.

    Been here a few times and each time the food portions were large and tasty. Had a burger and salad… was a little surprised to see an up charge for the salad offered - wish that was disclosed prior to receiving the bill. It didn’t ruin the experience, just something to be aware of if your server lists a bunch of yummy options in the event you’re opting for no fries.

    Great food. Great appetizers/mains and dessert. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. Atmosphere positive. Not too dark not too bright. Go to for meetup with friends.

    Not sure why you don't have straws for drinks. We also needed to ask for cutlery. We also had to ask for water a second time. We weren't told of the $3 upcharge for salad in replacement of fries when we were told that we can have it in lieu of fries. Also the front entrance and windows were bare making us think you maybe closed/out of business.

    Our server was amazing! It was my sisters 50th. They let me bring balloons and a cake. They sang with us when they brought it out. Service was fast and food great! Excellent place!

    This was a great mid point location for all parties in attendance and the food was decent....my fries were a little sad, but the rest was good. Music was on the louder side which made catching up with friends a little challenging. Our server was less than ideal, mixed up our bills and I ended up paying for a meal that was not my own and much more expensive. She wanted to make things right, but by this point we had waited so long for our bills, that we just needed to leave to relieve babysitters and we all had at least a 45 min drive ahead of us. Not the experience we were hoping for, but at the end of the day it was about connecting with friends, and your venue allowed for that to happen.

    Excellent food. Excellent service! The West Coast Veggie Burger remains a stand-out on the menu (which is odd as I am certainly no vegetarian). Note: the last Cowboy Caesar I had here restored my faith in their Caesars.
