Excellent server and delicious meal!
Good neighborhood crowd
Our first time at Valenza. Fabulous Italian food. Great neighborhood vibe.
We were celebrating our daughter’s 21st. They put the three of us in a dark cove seating area large enough for six. This made for an awkward/less intimate dining experience. You can’t see any of the restaurant from inside the “cove” and it was very dark. Not festive for a 21st Birthday. (They knew it was her birthday as I’d told them in advance and also reminded the waiter). Nothing special was brought out for dessert which surprised me.
The food was fabulous and we will return but just not a good choice for a special occasion which is surprising given $30 entrees.
Girls night out and catch-up, my friend and I wanted good food, good wine and a good place to chat. Valenza was all that and more Wednesday night. Service was happily accommodating---my friend chose the special but with a dozen substitutes and special requests, and the waiter smiled through all and the dish was served to her delight. My cod with risotto and mushrooms was good but not the best I've had at Valenza. Salad was more than enough to split. Wines served at right temperature. We asked for a quiet table so were shown to a new-to-me room at the back with about 8 tables. It was slow to fill, so was easy place for conversation. We declined dessert, bowing to diets, and had more wine instead. Happy evening.
excellent food just consider salting your pasta and dishes more as all that I tasted where much better with additional salt! attentive server!! will be back
Dinner was fabulous, and we had a corner table as requested. It was a wonderful evening. My only wish would be for it to be a bit quieter. Ambiance is lovely. Waitstaff great!!
Service was terrible. Took almost 90 mins to get our entrees and then received our check before we were given our desserts
It can get very noisy when all tables are occupied, at dinner time. The chicken dish is very good.
The food is fabulous and fresh. I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant.
This is a good neighborhood restaurant, not a destination restaurant. Food was average at best, service was efficient but not warm or welcoming. Great place for people watching. We will not be returning.
Excellent in every way
We celebrated #48 and everything was wonderful!
Thank you for a lovely evening.

Our party had the salmon, beef and pork - all were well seasoned and at the perfect temperature. The wine pour was generous. The white chocolate bread pudding and the warm chocolate tart were outstanding.
Love this restaurant. It's my go to all the time.
Great Food, Reasonably priced for quality. Try sitting outdoors. The scenery is awesome. Knowledge waiters/waitresses. Give them a try. Will not be disappointed!
Always consistent high quality meal. One of our neighborhood favorites
We frequently have dinnerwith friends at both Haven and Valenza. The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented! The experience is always a treat!!
absolutely delicious -- everything and service was outstanding.
Valenza is so great, wonderful pasta, salads, and half price wines on Monday night make it a great way to enjoy good food and drink...
My friends loved the food and will be back to try more!
Great evening spent there with friends who had not dined there before. They were very impressed and loved it!
My wife and I had a wonderful experience so romantic the service was awesome enno? was the on top of it waiter and the scallops are to die for
As always, Valenza was superb. Salads, main dishes, even the drinks (I highly recommend the Valenza Spritz) were outstanding. Wish it were closer to home.
OUTSTANDING is the best description I can share!!
Love Daniel- great experience!!!
Just a super experience. Waitress Gabriela was a special treat herself.
We went for the Tuesday night Lasagna special and it was excellent - we also had the pan seared Halibut which was amazing....l.can never go wrong with anything at Valenza!!
Great service. Wonderful personality in Mia, our server. She was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was fantastic.
Everything was outstanding. The mussels and the butternut squash ravioli was were very flavorful! The service was fantastic and they even brought out a surprise dessert for one of our guests’ birthday.
They have a great shift and great food and great service
The restaurant its self is very cute. The food was delicious. However, the atmosphere was not very welcoming. The staff did not seem genuine in their greetings or farewell. The server was extremely awkward and when he came over to find the check he gasped and said “oh there it is”. Also the table adjacent to mine looked at my date and I in complete disgust. It’s unfortunate that interracial couples in 2018 have to experience ignorance and disrespect... nevertheless I would give it another shot in hopes of getting a better server and not being judged.
Took someone here on a date and had a great time! Ambiance is fantastic, the waitstaff was wonderful, polite, and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Met the owner by mistake (apparently we were entering from the wrong entrance) but instead of making us walk around he allowed us to enter anyways and gave us directions to the hostess. Everyone was incredibly friendly and I never felt pushed to leave (even though some reviews said they did). Will definitely visit again and have already referred it to my friends.
We enjoy this place usually. Our last visit we were sat in a less desirable table location and our server rushed us the entire time! We were celebrating a birthday and wanted to enjoy each other and could not with our server coming over every 10 minutes and interrupting us. It made the experience uncomfortable and not enjoyable. We also had food to go and the man took our plates and stacked them! Knowing we wanted them to go...Gross! Very disappointing night and have to say not usual for our past experiences.
The ravioli filled with roasted butternut squash was delicious. The salad (bietole arrosto) with bets etc. was a disappointment- a few tiny cubes of beets, a couple pistachios, and too much arugula with stems. Tiramisu was so-so. I should have had the gelato. Wine (Italian house red) was good.
I had not been to this restaurant in a few years. The outside patio was beautiful, the cocktails and wine on point. I was disappointed in our octopus as it was rubbery and chewy, the linguini nero was not flavorful unless you lucked out on a calabrian chili though the butternut squash ravioli was amazing. Service was ok - we had to flag down our wait staff a few times. They told us the kitchen was closing soon even after we got their attention after struggling a bit to get their attention to put our order in.
Wonderful Italian dishes, prepared well, and complemented with a reasonable wine list.
The restaurant can be a bit noisy, but as a local favorite we often recognize friends and neighbors. Wait staff is well trained and attentive, without being overbearing.
Everything was great! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food!!
The food and service were outstanding. I will definitely be back and would recommend the restaurant to others.
Loved the food, ambiance and service. Gabriella was so kind and helpful. Will definitely go back.
One of our favorite restaurants! Always great food and service!
