We were fortunate to be in the back. Very noisy but great food and service
It's a great place and if you need to be gluten free just ask for Anthony...he will make sure your food is perfect!
Family dinner with out of town family
Sunday supper at Valenza was a treat! We sat at the bar and chatted with Michael, the bartender. He is personable and makes great cocktails. The portions were all very reasonable and we left satisfied but not stuffed.
Birthday lot of fun
We are new to the area so this place was a surprise to find tucked away in Brookhaven. The ambiance is great and the food and wine pleasantly surprised us. We will be back again!
Great food and service
One of our favorite restaurants in the U.S.
Ambiance and service was nice atmosphere was good. Food disappointingly lacked flavor and one dish was too salty and the other needed more salt. I would still recommend it based on the ambiance, but I would say order many appetizers rather than ordering from the entree menu
Second meal at this restaurant which fires on all cylinders. Vibrant ambiance, more of an "intown" feel than many restaurants in the Brookhaveen / Buckhead area. Food was outstanding, the brussels sprouts first course one of the best "full course" use of that ingredient I can recall. And the other courses equally good. Service friendly but also skillful and professional. Note that pasta courses are big, easily shareable.
The food is always amazing here. A bit noisy due to the fact that it is booked.
We had a large group of teenage girls and they were very accommodating and patient. Food, as always, was a great. This is my daughter's favorite spot (for the capellini), so the definite go-to for her birthday.
I go to Atlanta every month. When ever I have time I go to Valenza. Always good. Always enjoyable.
It's always a lovely evening at Valenza - the food and service are consistently excellent. Loved our salads and the pasta dishes.
We asked for a quiet table and got one. The foodvand service were superb. I would recommend it to friends and plan tonreturn.
Food good. Waiter forgot appetizer, he did apologize
Had to remind it was a birthday in front of guest
What a great new find! Staff and food was excellent!
Always the best night of our week when we eat there! Great food and service was spectacular!!
Very nice meal. Staff attentive and friendly. The only negative was the noise level was a bit high when we arrived at 8:15 since the place was full.
As usual, our experience was wonderful. Service and food always exceptional. We are lucky to have so many of Michael Arnett's restaurants in Brookhaven.
Good food. Good service. My wife and I will eat there again!
Extremely disappointed as specifically came for the Thursday special of lobster risotto only to be told it was not available as “they couldn’t get lobster “ as “so much was going on in town”! Caesar salad was served ice cold and therefore lacked any flavor. Spaghettini was non descript/average. Gelato served with bread pudding was no better than grocery store quality. Waitstaff was apologetic and said they would call me next Thursday to confirm risotto availability- that did not happen- I.e. no call - therefore no real interest in their customer base.
Service was awesome. Noise level was great until the live music started, which happened to be right by our table, which we did not know about when we were seated. otherwise, great dinner!
Had a birthday lunch for our daughter and had a very nice time.
Wonderful experience as always. They always make sure my husband's meal (who has to be gluten free) is perfect!
It’s always our number one pick as a family for the best restaurant around town and never disappoints!!!
I don't get it. Folks rave about this restaurant but we've never been very impressed with the menu. We finally decided to try it because they were publicizing a lobster orzo special which looked good in the social media photo. What we got was a) expensive and b)basically lobster and orzo covered in a gravy which wasn't complimentary to lobster and looked nothing like the photo. We were both very disappointed. Plus, we were seated right next to a computer station for the service staff which had a trash can literally next to my seat. I didn't realize it was there until after our drinks were served when a waitress came over and emptied it right next to me. We will not be back.
Always a good meal, service & atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants
Delicious food, attentive service without hovering, incredibly professional and polite staff. Love it, 2nd visit
Great service, food—overall solid experience! As always.
As always, Andrew made it a perfect evening (along with our bow tie friend who referred to us as "taking care of my people" :-) ). Love this place!
My first experience at Valenza is the reason for going a second time. (Great atmosphere, servers, great wine, salad and fish dish) I insisted on my newly discovered restaurant to my girlfriends however it wasn’t the experience that it was on my first visit. Our server was curt, not attentive and unavailable. I had hoped all the servers would be as friendly as our first time there, making menu and wine suggestions but this guy was definitely having a bad night. Although we were all satisfied with our meal, our group of 6 will not be returning to Valenza.
Everything was fabulous as usual. I only wish they would be better prepared when offering specials which they were not. Usually it’s just about perfect.
Took friends for the lobster risotto which was fabulous when they had it a few years ago. We were all disappointed as it did not come close to what we had in the past. The lobster was very tough and small with a small portion of not very good risotto. I noticed that four of us were struggling to cut the lobster. Also the seasonings were not good. Hard to be consistent.
Veal was incredible
All of it made better by Joe Grandsen and his talented piano man—what a pleasure!
AS always the best night of the week for us is when we dine at Valenza!!
Always amazing service and ambiance. Never been where we've had anything less than stellar for the entire experience. The vibe is both romantic and chic and upbeat. Good for intimate dates and groups. Amazing outside seating for when warmer. Extremely knowledgable on wine and spirits. Amazing food!
Been going to Valenza now since it opened and it only gets better. Most restaurants slow down first week of January but not case for Valenza. Place was packed. Food was great. Had the seafood pasta in squid ink. Incredible. This is go to favorite neighborhood place.
We went to this restaurant which is located in our neighborhood. We chose to go there because we love their pizza restaurant next door. We went to celebrate our daughter who’s in college getting all As. Well, we felt unwelcome and rushed. I’m not sure if it was the fact that we had on jeans or the color of our skin. The waiter was not rude but he rushed us out. He emptied mussels shells in the bread dish that my husband was still eating and didn’t replace the bread. I ordered a dessert after he gave us our check and he brought me the dessert in a to go box, took my cash and never returned to see if I wanted change being that I gave him $95 on a $66 check. As we were leaving, we heard him ask another table if they’d like to see a dessert menu... odd that he never offered that to us. Safe to say, I will not return to this establishment.
Service was excellent as always. A go to destination for special events and business dinners.
