Music was loud. Everything else was great
Hadn't been in a while...VERY pleasantly surprised.
It was a fantastic dinner! The wait was a bit long but to be expected on a holiday. The scallops were fantastic!
This place was amazing from entry to exit, everything was great, and for me, this is the highest I ever give any establishment.
Went for Mother's Day Brunch and the food was really just mediocre at best. The steak came barely warm with the eggs which were very delicious, but really was only the eggs and potatoes that tasted good. Some weird really bitter green sauce on the steak too (normally this should be chimichurri). Heard another table complain that their brussel sprout dish was cold too and had to send it back. Our waitress was not around much and we had to spend about 10 min trying to find her to get the bill but never found her and had to ask someone else to check us out.
Overall nice restaurant. The dessert was subpar but my pasta was delicious!
Excellent service, delicious food and wine, and Daniel was a superb and attentive waiter. All three meals were outstanding!
Overall food was just fair. Too much salt. Please rely in fkavors if ingredients other than salt.
Delicious food, creative options, great atmosphere and location. Service a bit slow. Ordered second glass of wine twice but server never delivered. Had to request check twice as well.
We had a wonderful dinner with friends here. We sat on the patio which was absolutely perfect. Food was delicious and service was wonderful. We all loved our food. We all started with a cocktail, had salads, and then some had pasta, one had the halibut special, and I had the salmon over lentils. Everything was delicious.
The pasta is unreal before they put the sauce on it. We loved everything. We went for our 13th wedding anniversary.
Absolutely gorgeous place to dine outside. I loved our waiter and he made excellent recommendations. I did the summer squash ravioli and it was perfect. I also very much enjoyed their wine because it was very good and well priced. I will definitely go back.
My husband and I, with friends, dined at Valenza for the first time on May 2nd, a Wednesday evening. I chose the restaurant to enjoy the musical talent of Joe Gransden, who Clint Eastwood described as “…a young man with and old soul and a classic voice. He is a great new talent with a wonderful sense of humor to boot. And don’t forget, he plays a hell of a trumpet!” My words? Joe is an impressive musician. Joe and a keyboard player (quite a talented musician himself) played tunes from the Great American Songbook. If you are a fan of this genre, Joe’s trumpet and voice, along with the accompanying keyboard, will transport you to a happy place, making for a perfect evening. And one of our friends, a former professional trumpet player and band director for many years, had very high praise for Joe Gransden.
If you’re wondering about the food, it is flavorful and attractively-plated. I recommend the Orecchiette Pasta w/fennel sausage, rabe, evoo, and chili flakes; the Salmone, king salmon; and the Pollo al Mattone, a brick pressed green circle farms chicken, with peperonata and crispy pecorino potatoes. For dessert, have the Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake w/pine nuts and brown butter caramel. If you appreciate Italian red wine, I recommend Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Corte alla Flora. Full-bodied and smooth. Christopher, our server, was exceptional - professional, yet friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, attentive, but not intrusive. The staff assisting him complemented his excellence. We look forward to our next visit!
Always a wonderful experience. Excellent food & service.
Pre-concert dining with extended family. ⭐️😊
Extraordinary experience!! Always our favorite!!
The food is always excellent and the service is superb!
The food was excellent and delivered promptly. I commented to my wife how surprising it was to actually get hot food just off the pan. Kudos to the staff for being so efficient
Good experience will go back again.
Love the beet salad and Lasagna!!
Scallops on risotto were fantastic. One of the very best meals I have had in Atlanta.
LoveD sitting on the patio with the white lights - I felt transported out of Atlanta.
The shrimp and squid ink pasta is beyond delicious! My daughter is vegan and was having difficulty finding something to order, however our server, Ashley (an amazing server) worked with the chef to prepare her a tasty veggie plate that she absolutely loved. Great dinner with husband and young teens.
Valenza and her sister restaurants are a neighborhood gem. Always friendly, consistent great food, engaged owner and managers. Always worth a night out!!! Or even just drinks at the bar!!! Looking forward to the new Steakhouse.
A little slice of Italia in ATL. You won’t be disappointed!!!
We brought our neighbor friends to Valenza because we have always enjoyed the restaurant and have spoken highly of it. To our disappointment and embarrassment we experienced our poorest visit on Sunday night. The wrong bottle of wine was delivered to our table. We ordered the Oregon Pinot Noir and received Villa Antinori. We attempted to order 2 glasses of 720 port for dessert and it was not available. Our server was nice enough, but disheveled and not as knowledgeable as we'd come to expect.
Very loud, but lively. Large portions! Could only eat half my main course after eating the complimentary bread and my meatball app. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided great service. Recommend the pork loin.
Excellent as usual. This is our go to Italian place for getting together with friends.
This was our (myself and wife) first time here and we loved the experience. It was a quiet and romantic place with amazing servive and food.
We made to sure to save their information and make it a favorite location for Italian food.
The food was generally good although it was different to the description they provided- fish was supposed to be pan seared and it was battered - don’t really felt it was $33 worth it.
The service was kind but on the “pestering” side. They will come often trying to take out plates when we were still eating. They came to ask us about dessert 3 times... it felt they were trying to kick us out...
Excellent Italian food.
The meal was made better by the personality and outstanding service of Ashley our waitress.
The meals were good, not outstanding. Our friends had lunch there the day before and had the same comments. Have eaten here before about a year or two ago and the food had been very good.
Decent Easter Brunch. Food was fine - nothing great, but also not too expensive. Much prefer Haven, but we were too late to planning this year.
Outside seating was great and it was a great day.
Our service was pretty bad - my wife can't eat cheese and still it was brought on 2 out of 3 dishes!
That said - it was fie overall.
Awesome, impeccable fabulous and terrific atmosphere... always in my top 10, but you need to put cannolis on the menu! However, it was incredible for the server partnered with the sister restaurant next-door to satisfy my cannoli passion.
Love this place!!!
Service was very slow, waiter forget he took our order and came to the table to take it, and then remembered he already did. Never got the appetizer, main course was good, waited so long for dessert he didn't charge us for it. Must have been his off night, but not that busy that it should have happened.
Fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!!
First time dining at Valenza and overall I was very happy. The food and drinks were yummy, service was great, the atmosphere was good, but I do find it a bit pricey compared to really good in-town restaurants. I would recommend but know it's going to be expensive.
Loved our dinner date. The service was excellent with a great atmosphere. I look forward to returning and enjoying the other dishes.
I have eaten here several times since I can walk. Price of specials is steep. All other dishes are appropriate. Martinis are well made.
We love this spot for a Monday night date night. Our server Rachel was particularly great at attending to our needs but letting us relax and catch up between courses!
The food was good. I do think I ordered the wrong thing. Overall the setting was quiet and romantic. I would suggest this restaurant for dates, romantic dinners and business meetings. I really don't think kids should do dinner; lunch would be better. Overall I enjoyed the experience.
